I also now have an appreciation for how the computer chip can switch, activate, and relay different circuits. If you had a video on how the Daytime Running Light circuits and relays work and how you can control them I would be on Cloud 9. I know where the DRL fuses are but a video completely explaining it and it's relays would be amazing. I have the misfortune of having DRLs that are not turning off when I fully turn the car off and the wiring/circuit could be faulty because it is just switching on and off whenever. I refuse to have it checked because I would rather save up for my new car, but I know the day is coming when I will come to my car after work to find a dead battery. Anyway thx for the video.
Great video, quick question. If the fans are not running or working properly, will this cause to cause problems on the compressor ac? My fans got loose from the screws on the radiator and ever since the compressor start turning off ever since. Compressor kicks and shut off 2 seconds after. Also you can see the fan's to start on but shut off 2 seconds after.
My radiator fan is not turning on I found this video very helpful in getting familiar with how things work. I have checked the whole system but have determined that the computer is not sending the signal or opening the switch to the fan relay. Is there a physical switch that the computer toggles or is the switch actually a part of the computer? Relays are good, fuses are good and I replaced the coolant temp sensor and the fan still won't turn on. I used the OBD2 reader to read the coolant temperature and it seems to work correctly, so for some reason either the computer is not acting on the elevated temperature or the switch is permanently shorted to grounded.
my a/c in my 02 corolla blows warm when idling, I've noticed in the past the fans used to blow full speed whenever the a/c is on now they only blow low speed, I am assuming this is causing the a/c to blow warm when idling, I even hosed off the a/c condenser, it wasn't clogged with too much debris, any idea's
Hey I got a 2000 Corolla and the fans are kicking on late and the cars temps get up to 3/4 on the gauge. Doesn’t do it when driving. Idling if I leave heat in high temps stay normal. Once it gets about 3/4 the fans kick on and temps go back to halfway. I changed the thermostat, added coolant, checked oil levels and still having the issue. Any input would help!!
I bought a new relay for the driver side fan but the fan won't kick on but I notice when I pull the relay almost off still intact the fan will kick on only if one of the prongs is not all the way in. What can that be.
I've replaced radiator, thermostat, waterpump, fan relay. Still no luck when I replaced the fan relay it came on maybe twice then stopped working again the fan relay is warm to the touch. Any ideas?

So should both fans kick on at the same time then? I only have the passenger side kicking on. I live in Texas so it's 🔥

@@hectorramos1590 yes I fixed the issue it was the temperature sensor I got a faulty sensor so double check that
