By chance, do you have rear seat recline adapters or is it all stock? Measuring my JKU and looking at the dimensions of the fridge, it seems like it should fit on the drivers side. But maybe not as the video shows.
My seat recline has not been altered. There is just no way this size can fit on the driver side. It does on the passenger side just barley. That too on the floor, if it’s raised even a bit like with a slider rail, it won’t fit. :-(
You know, it took me 3 months to decide which fridge to get for my JKU. It was an ARB Element (63qt.) I had in mind but the measurement was too long with little space to give. So, I decided to get the 56qt. SnoMaster, fit perfect with lots of space in the rear. Few things I did to make it work and spacious in the cargo of my JKU, I did a 60/40 Goose Gear Platform. Best of luck!
I just got the same fridge and had to take the corners off in order to fit in my slide.. I feel the pain.. I was very upset when I got it.. BTW got it from the same place 🤣🤣
I bet it’s having a hard time breathing which means it’s taking extra time to cool the space and the compressor is running hotter and drawing more amps. FYI I’ve done Refrigeration for 36 years
Well that is how i have it now but if I want to use rails for sliding out because it will raise a coupe inches then it won’t fit due to incline seat as you move up. But for now just on the floor it barely fits there. Also I have the tailgate table mounted so that too eats into my space. So yea....😞
@@OverlandPlus Aah I see. Yeah I almost bought the tail gate table but going to hold off until I have the fridge first. I saw the ARB fridge on the weekend looks so nice. What size did you get?
The one I got is 63 quarts. I agree get your fridge setup going first before the tailgate and then see how much clearance you have and shop for tailgate accordingly. The one I have from outback is a bit bulky there are other options too.
Another possibility would be to turn tue fridge sideways and have it on a custom slide for a side profile and have stuff in front of it on the same slide so as to not obstruct.
It's on the passenger side and it fits but as long as it is on the floor. But to have a slider or on a drawer, it raises and it won't fit, because of the reclining seat.
This is the first Negative thing I have read or heard of with @Northridge4x4. Frankly, the mistake on measurements is yours, not sure why you expect a company to eat freight costs on your behalf... Have you searched a junk yard for a rear seat and looked to modifying the back of the rear seat?
To be clear yes measurement is my responsibility. Also I understood to cover the return shipment cost. However, charging me for original shipment to me that was free is something I have never heard of. Not to mention I wanted to order a smaller one from them.
What a terrible review. It is not right you did a title 'FAIL ARB' when the only problem is that you didn't take the time to measure before your purchase. All the dimensions are on the ARB website. In this case, you failed, not ARB.
The Fail is simply referring to my attempt at trying to fit the fridge in my Jeep by taking off the sides guards, but Noridge4x4 NOT ARB did fail big time at providing reasonable customer service. I never asked for my money back as I knew the mistake was mine, I simply wanted to exchange the fridge for the smaller size, but they wanted me to pay for the "Free" shipping THEY provided when they shipped the fridge to me upon my purchase. Again to be clear, I love the fridge, it is the horrible experience i'm referring to with the supplier.
Thank you for the honest video! I was thinking of getting the same fridge for our Jeep. Very glad I watched this!
Glad it helped this will not fit no matter what. Get the smaller one if you like this model.
Man and a Jeep so just to verify, you have the 63 qt model?
Actually I just confirmed the 29 inch dimension is for the 63, so I answered my own question. Thank you though! Super cool video
Yes I have the 63 and will gladly trade for a smaller size lol
@@OverlandPlus I have the same ARB fridge in the size smaller. 47 qt. I'll trade ya if you still want to?
What were the exact outside measurements on the bottom corners of your fridge before you removed your plastic corner protectors?
It is 29.5 inches long and 18 inches wide. These are the outside dimensions with protective covers on.
Bummer... Almost got the same fridge, but I got the Dometic CFX3 55IM, and it fits perfect.
Glad it fits, lol I'm still stuck with this one.
@@OverlandPlus Sorry buddy, didn't mean to rub slat in the wound. That's a kick in the pants.

EXACT SAME HERE, DOMETIC AFTER MEASURING THIS ONE

Awesome enjoy. I’m still stuck with this oversized one.
What size is it? Im looking at the 47 qt for my JLU, but don't know if it will fit yet.
This is 63 you should have no issue with 47.
I just bought the 47Qt for my JKU it fits under my Cargo rack as well.
IS THIS 44 L ?
What size fridge is it?
63 quarts
I just got the same fridge and had to take the corners off in order to fit in my slide.. I feel the pain.. I was very upset when I got it.. BTW got it from the same place 🤣🤣
I am glad at least you got it to fix on the slide.
Where did you buy this product from?
Bentley Rhodes from northridge4x4, one of the worst😡

I agree, although I have not noticed it that much. But basically, at this point I’m waiting for this to give up on me and then get a smaller size.
I'm pretty sure if you put the fridge on the otherside you get an extra inch. The door tapers in at that side.
Well that is how i have it now but if I want to use rails for sliding out because it will raise a coupe inches then it won’t fit due to incline seat as you move up. But for now just on the floor it barely fits there. Also I have the tailgate table mounted so that too eats into my space. So yea....😞

Is your Jeep a JK? Maybe consider raising the rear seats.
Yes, it's JK. That is actually a good idea, but just wondering if I have to do this as DIY or if there are spacers available I can get?

Should have measured your interior and done your shopping based off those specs. Lesson learned.
Or a fwd with bigger boot
Sir..You the one that really fail not ARb. Next time "measure" first..!!!
Couldn't you just like turn it long ways
I could but would not be ideal as a permanent set up. Sliding out will be an issue and not to mention the space it would take.
@@OverlandPlus that true
Just turn it side ways
But that would take space for my kitchen setup, which at the moment i am using it for boxes containing my kitchen and camping gear.
Buy a bronco
Lol thanks I would love to
Just sell it
Buy a Landcruiser
Land Cruiser would be great
