We call this 'Nuts and Bolts'.. We also add broken pretzels and mixed nuts. I make mine with extra pecans. My brother liked extra cashews. If I can find Brazil nuts then I'm in hog heaven. Oh! I also like broken up garlic bagel crisps!!! I make this at Christmas time also!!! My brother has passed on but I still make this for my sisterinlaw!!!
That reminds me of when I used to help my husband stretch & fix fences on our turkey farm. Work is never done on a farm, you just have to take a break once in a while, enjoy your vacation ❤️

Sitting on the beach in the breeze and humidity would mess up your new haircut so it’s best that you didn’t get one. Enjoy your vacation.
Chex party mix is soooo addictive!!! My cousin makes it every Christmas and gives us a batch. I can hardly stay out of it. The cheese crackers, cashews, and wheat chex are my favorite...I don't care for the pretzels, either. Kinda disappointing about you hair appointment but I know you'll be able to fix your hair cute like you always do. I always looks so forward to getting my hair cut because its so easy to fix right after a fresh haircut. Have a wonderful vacation!!!!!

A coworker told me to try honey nut cheerios with pecans and OMG, was it good! Because then you have a sweet and salty taste! Now I want some!

I double the seasoning and butter on mine and people love it. I always make it at Christmas and give away a lot. I use roasting pans and use to make 4 of those but last year cut down to 2. I let it cool on flour sack cloths. I know you were counting on getting your hair done, but your hair looks cute and I’d just let it go until after vacation. Have a fun and safe vacation. Girl buy yourself one of those pretty large foil pans and double up on your batches. I love to put some extra butter in mine. Especially if I get overage when I measure the cereal and I purposely do. I add delicious pecan halves when I make it for the holidays bc I always have them on hand for the other baking that I do. Oh and cashews. I’m so sorry you couldn’t get your hair cut. I always get mine cut before vacation too. I love my beautician and I have had to cancel on her too so I would have to be as understanding as you are. Im like you it’s just hair. But I would be so disappointed especially since it’s before vacation. But if it helps you still look so pretty just like you are.

Tell Bryant he was right on with the barber!! Went from one length down to my shoulders and now after saying that I wanted a long pixie with shorter in the back, hair covering my ears. I now have a Jamie Lee Curtis haircut and overweight and 70 I think I might have to hide out for a bit until it gets some length!!!!!😮💨🤔🙂
Trash mix...mmm I'm lazy, hate extra dishes, so I use big flat bottomed disposable aluminum pans. I melt butter ,seasonings in oven, then add all the boxes of cereal. I do all in one huge batch! Sometimes I've used crispex, or I leave out wheat chex for my gluten-free cousin who has allergies(I even have to get a glutenfree worstershire! Who knew) I always want to use the roaster my mom used to make it in when I was little...but it is sooo little now that I'm an adult and have bigger family I put in pretzels, but I don't care for them either. I add mixed nuts and roasted peanuts too. Sometimes some honey nut cheerios too. My kids like my peanut butter chex recipe too Have a great vacation. Relax, recoup, reconnect, reset😎

I use a turkey roaster so I make 3 batches at a time. I have to stir it 2 or 3 times during baking but it takes less time than individual batches.

I'm lazy, hate extra dishes, so I use big flat bottomed disposable aluminum pans. I melt butter ,seasonings in oven, then add all the boxes of cereal. I do all in one huge batch! Sometimes I've used crispex, or I leave out wheat chex for my gluten-free cousin who has allergies(I even have to get a glutenfree worstershire! Who knew) I always want to use the roaster my mom used to make it in when I was little...but it is sooo little now that I'm an adult and have bigger family
I put in pretzels, but I don't care for them either. I add mixed nuts and roasted peanuts too. Sometimes some honey nut cheerios too. My kids like my peanut butter chex recipe too
