We did stay tuned, but we never went to game 3, because at some point after game 2 HD decided for whatever reason that he didn't want to do this anymore. Just like that, an abrupt end of an era. I often wonder what was on his mind, what changed. Maybe it's as simple as him getting tired of it, and maybe I'm being a bit too sentimental, but I find this whole exodus from SC2 tremendously sad. HD, I'm sure you had your reasons, and I doubt you'll read this, but you had a major impact on this game and got a lot of people involved. Thank you for everything you did.

I miss the golden era of sc2. I moved by myself to the States to pursue a career in IT as a 19 year old. Looking back I was way too young and had a rough time making friends. StarCraft, teamliquid and all the awesome UA-camrs and casters helped me so much. Forever grateful!

This is how my cousins and team mates enjoyed the great HD casts. After a hard day of work, I couldn't wait to get home relax and enjoy a cast. Food tasted better while watching a cast. Before going go bed, HD's voice helped to relax and go to sleep with a smile on my face. If you have been following HD for a long time and he's the reason why you enjoy Starcraft, watch some of his old videos, and the nostalgia will make your eyes watery! Guaranteed! HD without your casts many lives are flavorless! Your community misses you man! But whatever you decide to do, we will always back you up and support you no matter what!! For the swarm!!

Jae Park Actually, he does have some obligation to his fans/subscribers to some sort of news/explanation. Otherwise, he wouldn't be making these videos cause there would be no one to watch.
Jae Park While he doesn't have an "obligation" to let people know, the polite thing to do is to inform people if you're going to give up and walk away. Otherwise your fanbase will sit and wonder, lingering around checking the channel now and then to see if there's any news, etc. If he's given up, he should let people KNOW that, not make them sit around wondering. That, honestly, is rather rude. If it's due to factors that he can't control, then that's one thing, but if he's given up and lost his interest in it, he really should announce it.

HD was the first caster I started watching so many years ago, and I always enjoyed his approachable attitude and his adorably bad jokes. I don't know whether Starcraft 2 is just fading into the abyss compared to more inviting games like LOL and others, but I still play it and enjoy it. I love watching it more than any other sport. Sadly HD and Apollo are fading away. Luckily Husky stills casts but I liked watching all of them because on some days if one caster didnt have new content I could always count on another. Now I go a whole week without watching 1 new game. I hope you come back HD, we will all be waiting for you.

After 5 years I stumbled upon an old friend, this video. I never played StarCraft, never owned a game but I was subscribed to this channel because of the personality of the comentator. He made these matches entertaining even to a guy that has never touched StarCraft games. HD, hope one day you return to this channel - or at least post a video with some closure.
