as its just an internal version of the adaptors idk why someone would go this route over stellar or hd+ with cerbios, considering the work involved the external adaptor seems the best way to get analogue out a hdmi at a low cost and effort. its only benefit being no dongle at the cost of doing more work than installing one of the more expensive better options.
The color looks too saturated compared to the Stellar and Electron. Might look ok in the video, I bet it looks horrible in person when compared side by side.
I did this with wiring and not the QSB. The output isn't good, with jailbars quite noticeable in black screen. I wonder if this is noise introduced by the wiring. I used 30AWG for the signals and 24 for ground and power. I tried to keep the wires short but they do cross around. Any thoughts?
@@mikehumphrey7868 That's a BIOS, not a modchip. You can flash it to any modchip. As for the question, I would have liked to say "Stellar", but half the features aren't even implemented, and the rest don't work right
Openxenium with prometheos. It is the most modern modchip with the most features. You could also do a tsop flash if you have a 1.0-1.5. I would go with the tsop since it's free if you have a soldering iron
a 10uf 16v tantalum would be a better choice to replace that radial SMD cap. Shouldn't use ceramic caps to replace a polarized cap.
Can I ask - why not?
EvoX dash is butt cheeks lol

Very nice work and some fine soldering skills 👌🏻
Wooo! OG Xbox Action! Maybe I should send you the HDMI solution I got from N64freak years ago.
😮
😀
is it just me or does Wii2HDMI look best?
It looks so good. I have three xbox adapter thingies. Theyre def worth owning

Nice work ShawnACE 😊
Thanks 😁
So this is basically just a slightly polished version of what existed 5yrs ago 😂

How would I mount this in a Phat PS2?
That i am not sure, I haven't done one in a PS2 yet.
@@Techbabblers oh ok, ill sub and hope you make one.
Wii2HDMI is the best, it literally cost 2 bucks. As for the soldering skills, you need them for all three mods.
Bang for buck!
EvoX was my fav dash!
with one is the best? Electron Shepherd, Wii2Hdmi or XboxHD+ ?
HD+ has wayyy more features
@@Techbabblers like what?
What is the mod chip with the most features to install?
Cerbios

Easy mod chip to install is raspberry pi with modxo
How did you buy the pcb from him
You can try emailing him but otherwise, doesn't seem to be any other way
How did you get the QSB? Seems your link is a german version of craigslist / gumtree. How can i get the QSB if UK based?
Would have to reach out to the seller in the listing unfortunately. I can't seem to find any US/UK listing
Which hdmi mod was easiest to install? My old eyes cant tell the difference. Thanks
Wii2HDMI felt the easiest since it was soldering the QSB and soldering the HDMI on-top of the QSB with minial wires needed.
It's hard to say but it looks to me like wii2hdmi has the best output. Am I wrong?
Wii2HDMI seems to have a higher brightness on the output is what I noticed
Is there a place from where I can get it in EU, shipping cost is insane

Shawn... Its really u.. 🤣😂
