I have been listening to Jethro Tull since 1969 and have been mesmerized by their unique sound qualities and some of the best musical output from any band from this world! Thank you guys for focusing on a unique quality sound!

@@KennethZublionis-w7q It all comes back to Jann Wenner (who co-founded the Hall of Fame). He plays favourites and he loathes Jethro Tull. He's off the board as of last Autumn, so perhaps things will slowly start to change.
The 2000s Jethro Tull have the best live sound quality due to technology and the band members, if only Ian have his 80s voice back, the show would be two times great. Lot of respect for him for never give up .
I also would love to have that old Ian Anderson voice back. The man just absolutely loves to perform, he just overdid it a little bit during that one tour. Thank goodness he’s still with us to still enjoy just the same. The first time I saw them was at Red Rocks amphitheater in Morrison Colorado. That was an interesting night. Google Jethro Tull red rocks riot for some interesting stories. Ian made a statement, something like, “if I don’t get out there on the stage and play, you’re really gonna have a riot on your hands!“ if you’ve never been to red rocks, then you’ve never really heard a concert. There’s nothing like it. The sound goes by you one time in that then Denver air. It was just totally surreal when they started into “Sun streaking cold, an old man wandering lonely…” You know the rest. It was unreal. It’s what I imagine heaven is going to be like.
He is a great professional, and would never give up.. One of the greatest musicians along XXth and XXIst centuries. Mankind will disappear, and his music will fly away among the stars 🎼
You have to be kidding! Jethro Tull were OUTSTANDING when Cornick was on bass and Bunker played the drums, but after they left......just another good band. ''Stand Up'' and ''Benefit'' prove that.
Ian Anderson's voice may have changed from the 1970's but he still is one of the best flute musicians I have ever heard. Love the unique style of this band. A completely original form. Then Play on. Ian has also performed with Annie Haslam and Renaissance. Annie knows great talent and I am glad they performed together. Long live Jethro Tull and Renaissance!
Àbsolutly. The way he plays the flute so soothing in my time of life😮😮wonder if my late husband. Would have appreciated. His flute playing. As he was also not in good health. Life passed by just too quickly😮😮😢🎉. He loved Dvorjac and Amadeus Mozart. All that opera stuff life goes too fast. Shame. He did not even know about English Folk music even if his mother did come from Leeds. Passed on 1976 they must be together RIP
5 Tull, 4 Zep, 3 GFRR, 2 Paul Revere and the Raiders, 1 Guess Who. Would put Metamorphos Iron Butterfly, was only 1 album- to this day IB was best concert ever
While most people here, no doubt, already realize it, I just want to say, Remy, you are THE MAN. Thank you profusely for all of your amazing archival Tull uploads. They’ve provided me with hours and hours of sheer musical bliss! You’re a gentleman, a scholar and humanitarian and we’re in your debt.
Imagine you would be foolish enough to sack Martin Barre. One of Ian's reasons, as he revealed in an Interview, was that the guy didn't read his e-mails. I think Ian always has seen himself as an employer who somewhere went over to temporary employment contracts. Still, I respect him for his music. He wrote some of my favorite songs.

Andrew Giddings (keyboards)
Jonathan Noyce (bass)

Wow!
Então friends end Irmãos nacionais, eu assisti aqui em sp mesmo, projeto Sp, Jethro Tull, 1988! Putzzzz, Abriram com Nothing Is Easy! Sentiram???!!!
The keyboard surfer
Martin barre is incredible
Jethro Tull is the most powerful progressive rock band ever exited .
The absolute best as far as I am concerned.
Greatest concert band of all time!
Most underrated band of all time …
Why this band is not in the Rock & Roll Hall of fame is a disgrace!
@@jimobrien4421 You are so right.
The RNRHOF is a total farce of course. As fully expected, is one more meaningless mainstream circle jerk. With Abba, Madonna, The Beastie Boys, Lavirne and Shirley, 😄 You get the idea. 🤣😂😂🙄
Tonights Inductees are:
Cream and…The Beastie Boys!
GladysKnight&Pipps and Jethro Tull!

I wouldn’t be worried about Jethro Tull is or not in the Fake RRHF because that organization is only for pop and commercial music not for intelligent bands , even if Jethro Tull have sold around 100 millions albums they don’t want to induct because they don’t like Ian Anderson, he is simple the best musician in rock music and Jethro Tull the best progressive rock band ever existed .
During 'MY GOD', the limitations of the PRS Guitar Martin Barre is playing become glaringly obvious...simply put: The GROWLING HEAVINESS of the GIBSON Les Paul Standard on the original recording is painfully and obviously missing...as is Ian Anderson's voice.....but give it up for Martin Lancelot Barre....HE never fails !
The best Tull lineup! 💫
It's not the best lineup in my book, but it's pretty good!
E O MAIOR. A FLAUTA MAGICA DO ROCK EM RECORDACAO DO ANOS80
