    This baffles me, they must have absolutely known that they were committing fraud. As an international UNDERGRAD student in the US, I had done my due diligence and even applied for my US visa on my own at the age of 18. I was a bonafide student at a well-recognized university having taken the SATs and TOEFL and was well aware of the laws and requirements through my own thorough research. I do not buy into their victim card tbh. Anyone who pays a huge sum to shady agents instead of going through right channels are pretty much doing it intentionally.

    Ignorance is no excuse for law. It is sad that someone may have taken advantage of these students, but they knew full well that the acceptance letters they presented were fraudulent. How could they not know what they were doing by submitting a letter of acceptance from a University they were never accepted to. In the event that they were unaware, due diligence would have shown that the actions they chose to take were fraudulent.
    Hopefully, with all the education they received, they can find a way back that does not involve fraudulent actions.

    Its not fair to say that they were not aware of what was there. Any good university or college ask to create student account on their portal to even rollout the letter of acceptance and maintain all records. How those things are missing when students get LOA from reputed institutions. The argument doesn’t hold strong for that they were not aware of it.

      Thats the point. They way these people are explaining it, all faults are on agents side but the truth is, the students were fully aware and as their seniors are already on the same scheme and settled in canada it was an easy option. Its a organized scam and when a student is admitted into a college or uni, before coming they are asked to open portal, upload their doc and so many academic things. Unfortunately they got caught after so many years. The youtubers should tell the truth and warn the students from any country to be cautious and mindful of doing any kind of such scam as it does not matter how long you have been here, if they find, they will deport.

    This is because at the time IRCC and embassies don't coordinate with the schools to confirm admission. This is because at the time they have not yet developed an internal system that facilitated exchange of information between the schools and government. It cost money for IRCC and embassy to contact the schools to verify admission and student details. I hope this helps

And many Indians (Sikhs) who are now living in Canada have gotten fraudulent mortgages through the help of some Indians who work at one of our major banks,this has only added to the housing crisis and rental crises we are experiencing in Canada right now. I'm so sick of 3rd world immigrants coming to Canada and taking advantage of our naive government and also causing alot of problems for us natural Canadians who have lived here all of our lives with the fraud being committed by them. Please advise Indians that Canada is no promise land that they are being lead to believe.

    So many people keep trying to lay the blame for this at the feet of the IRCC for not catching this in the first place. Consider that there would be a far lower level of scrutiny for a short term study visa than there would be for permanent residency. Further, each and every one of these students would have known this was fraudulent when they found out their acceptance letters were fake and they weren't enrolled in those schools. The students then chose to actively perpetuate the fraud by using their study visas (which they then knew were acquired using fraudulent acceptance letters) to obtain positions at other schools. It was only when they applied to become permanent residents that the deeper scrutiny of their eligibility caught them actively participating in the fraud that they had initially fallen victim to. The results are that they are here illegally due to fraud committed by the agent as well as continued by themselves.

    you have everything right and you get refused for the most hilarious reason with no logic and other people get in with a fake LoA...a big LoL , idk i'm starting to feel that Canada is a big overrated bubble and that the reality has nothing to do with what's being advertised by IRCC and the gov in the "We welcome and want foreign people" and "we give pr to benefit Canada and reciprocally benefit the foreign nationals it's a win-win." if that's the case why everything is fishy and foggy and frustrating and infuriating.. every time they come up with something , one time not enough quotas other time they raise the immigration criteria, like pick an opinion you want or doesn't want foreign people.
    if people studied in your country and/or already gained Canadian experience in jobs, they should get PR end of the story.
    why they make life even more misreable and hard for students and immigrants. that idk..one time Ontario is good for PR other time no no Ontario is Bad what is good and what is bad, ton of questions and ton of frustration and there is no one with valuable knowledge to answer sadly.

    FINALLY!! Someone made a concrete video by pointing out the actual question that needs to be raised.
    I have been commenting on almost all the videos with the likewise questions.
    Putting them here again.
    Firstly, it must be asked how the university granted admission to students if their documents, particularly the offer letter, were counterfeit.
    Secondly, if the documents were fraudulent, how were the students able to obtain a student visa without being detected during the initial screening process?
    Thirdly, why did immigration officials grant them a Study permit upon their arrival at the airport, and how were they able to evade detection at this stage?
    Fourthly, it must be inquired as to why IRCC offered the students work permits upon completion of their studies, and how they managed to evade detection yet again.
    While the agent is undoubtedly at fault in this situation, questions must also be raised regarding the potential negligence of IRCC.
    It is crucial that these concerns are addressed and that the immigration officials and university take responsibility for their actions impact on these students' futures!!

      All important questions

    • @aqal5333
      @aqal5333 Рік тому

      Biprojit C You got the first fact wrong, i.e. the agent in India FAKED the Fanshaw College admission acceptance letters for these students, not the college.
      Though IRCC missed seeing the admission letters as fake, ultimately, the students are responsible for their applications. All 700+ should be deported, post a hearing.

    • @andyt8134
      @andyt8134 Рік тому +1

      Clarifying your first question: University never granted them admission. Students would have came to know about the fraud if they have tried to approach the college/university. Students were told by agent to switch college which is easier to do once you land in Canada. They got new offer letters from new college where they completed their studies.
      I agree with second question. It normally takes 1-3 months to make visa decision hence it should have been detected.
      Thirdly, officers does not verify all the documents at the airport. They are not going to make calls to the college to verify the offer letter. If that happens then it will take long hours or days (if student arrive late evening or weekends) before letting students leave the airport.
      Fourthly, the fraudulent offer letter was not used/uploaded while applying for post graduation work permit. Students have likely used the new offer letter, transcript from college where they completed the studies. In the future, IRCC might add additional checklist to submit the first offer letter in case of DLI change. They might complicate the process of moving from one college to another.

Just think for a moment, if you have a fake offer letter and come to canada and agent starts telling you bullshit logics then the first thing you would do is to contact with the college and they would have known right away that those offer letters are fake. Unfortunately for immigration the onus is on the individual to provide an oath the documents are true. The families need to go after the person that defrauded them. If Canada doesn't take a firm stand, much more fraud will occur. This needs to be a warning for all immigrants to be careful on who helps them with documentation and legal paperwork. You should be obtaining (albeit expensive investment in your future) an immigration lawyer from your desination country. You want an agent with a fiduciary duty that can be held accountable at the destination country. If you involve a 3rd party, you need to find one that is trustworthy. Fraud and scams are increasing, you need to protect yourself.
    Immigration is extremely stringent there is no guarantee to anyone, in my experience immigrating to the USA.
    I'd anticipate many students being rejected in the near future, I doubt there was just 1 agency defrauding families... as 800,000 international students currently have study permits in Canada as of 2022.

      While the person did defraud them, how was it not caught earlier, and the students notified? This is not only an issue of the agent who did it. This is a failure of the IRCC. They are supposed to heavily scrutinize the immigration process to make sure that everything is legitimate.

    • @AM.000
      @AM.000 Рік тому

      @Icecaptain I heard many of these students entered the country with the fraudulent document and switched schools after landing. My understanding of the process is the document is suppose to be the proof, with then continued schooling being the requirement to extend a visa. But entering fraudulently is a black mark against obtaining residency.
      Those same admission letters can be used to open bank accounts, get student bank accounts, get student pricing on UA-cam and so on.
      So while continued schooling allowed them to stay. The way they got in, was illegal. It likely wasn't noticed when schools changed, because you could in theory switch schools. The problem was the fraud was used to enter the country. I guess the alternative is to tell international students they can't change schools or programs, and those changes require a new visa request from the student.

      Their colleges were changed, once they arrived in Canada. They completed their studies and even got their work permits

      @@AskKubeir This doesn't justify the case. These students were lazy and ignorant of doing the process by themselves and believed the agent. Such students are not needed in Canada. Also, International students are on a temporary visa subjected to deportation if they violate laws or commit fraud.

    My inner self is saying that these students know well in advance what is going to happen from india itself .... it's not like that agent was hiding all this from students....all these students were struggling to get their visas in the first place due to some reasons and they came to this agent and mist have been pleading to him that " do whatever you can , but i just want to go to canada at any cost and price ".....
    The agent is not speaking anything because he is fearing for his life and his business.....
    Students now playing the victim card and trying all this drama to avoid deportation.....
    Sorry to be harsh, but That's what is happening now with the students who have a very low chance of getting a canada visa....
    People who got away just be careful because the friends that know you might sabotage and complain to cbsa to take grudge against you....

      My only question is if they did eventually get accepted to a school.... why have the fraud part at all?
      Like you, I suspect there are undoubtedly some that did know. Immigration is very stringent, you can't have a single thing wrong, or you will not be accepted. There isn't room to be flexible, like security you must endure getting on to an airplane.

      @@AM.000 So, you’re saying if you have a fake Driver’s license or Aadhar card and you get away with it, that makes it legit and one must not pay the price after getting caught because you got away with it once?

    IRCC do not check acceptance letter 😂 you should be providing LEGIT documents... If they are married with canadian and have children then they wont face deportation due to the fact they situation is different... the candian gov will not split up a family!! But for the students who came to canada under false pretenses that dont have what i listed above.. then unfortunately they will be deported

      MindControl Canada has separated families. I have heard/read of many examples where the Canadian born is/are allowed to stay and the 'illegal act' person/non-Canadian deported.
