The fact that Outlander hasn’t won major Emmys each year shows what bs the Emmys are. The acting is incredible in this series, and the fact that it has been overlooked is criminal.

I noticed as Sam and Catriona got deep into conversation that their Scottish and Irish accents became much more apparent. So charming to hear their true voices!
Actually when I hear Sam Heughan speaking now, I hardly hear his old accent at all. He has spent more time in America around Americans so much that he sounds like an American when he speaks. He even said he doesn’t even remember his Scottish accent hardly anymore. And I miss it.🌹
He sounds Scottish not American his accent is soft As he comes from the Scottish Borders!

Even 10 won't be enough
so there's only 8 books so far. (maybe read them and support the author?) but she's working on book 9 and still has promised a book 10. i remember last year she said book9 was the final book but clearly there's more story to tell. It's marvellous that DG is a consultant on the show, and although they've deviated from character arcs a few times (S3 was pretty bad for this) it's been pretty good.

From what I hear it still has many seasons as she has written at least 8 books. But Jamie and Claire may not be included as they are aging. But who knows.

Cannot wait to see them back on camera together in Season 6. Even on zoom they have wonderful chemistry. And you can see that they have a genuine friendship together. Also love how down to earth they seem. I imagine that they would be great craic to have a few pints with, funny and smart people both.

And I absolutely agree with Caitriona about that scene on season 2. It was freaking brilliant - some of the best acting of the age.
As a male who absolutely NEVER reads romance novels, I am just finishing book 8 after ripping through the entire series since the end of season 5 (to the stunned look from my wife) and am absolutely depressed at reaching the void. That said, thanks to the the Outlander folks for captivating so many people by bringing the books to life in such a convincing fashion. I am still shocked at just how many differences there are between the two, some understandable, while others not so much.....Beautiful nonetheless....
The next book isn’t far away! It’s supposed to be released fairly soonish, still waiting on a release date from Diana tho

I'm thinking of buying the entire book series to read. You know they say "the books are always better than the movies," but I'm not too sure about that. I got the DVDs and binge-watched through season 4. Being from the USA, I'm surprised at the amount of nudity and "language," but I don't mind it at all! Both main characters have beautiful physiques! Can't wait for Season 5 to come out on DVD!
@@jillhoskins2414Trust me, the books are better than the series. They flesh out the world and add a TON of new experiences, characters and events that were not included in the series. You will find a lot of differences which make reading the series all the more rewarding.....not to mention what comes up after season 5!!!

The books are great and way ahead of series, which follows them pretty closely. I’ve read all the published ones and am waiting for the next currently being written.

This episode was wonderful to hear Sam and Cait talk with their usual ease and joy with the friendship they share. Today 12/12/20 - I discovered Outlander on Netflix last week and have been binge watching each night since. Really habit forming.
I had to force myself to stop watching.
Amazing chemistry. Love these two! My guilty pleasure is rewatching Outlander and picking stuff up that I didn’t catch the first time.
Soooo hooked on this show. Love these guys and such wonderful actors and actresses.
Caitriona has such a wonderful personality and Sam is just so blessed in the looks department. Love them both!
So nice to see this clip. These wonderful actors bring Diana’s books to life and give credit to to the books. The music from Bear McCreary also adds beauty and drama to the series. Thank you to all involved with this production. ❤️❤️.

I was finally able to watch Outlander Season 5 here in Australia. OH my goodness I am blown away with the performance an the story. Such excellent actors involved in this series. In Season 5 I loved and went crazy over the scenes when Claire and Jamie were in the tent in bed just waking up and it was his birthday!! Claire explaining to Jamie about each birthday a person “will take stock of his/her body” after Claire explains to Jamie what “taking stock” means he is so damn cute when he starts “taking stock” of his body and he lifts up the sheet and looks and Claire looks with him and they both agree he is still “working” then if that wasn’t funny enough Clair starts singing “happy birthday to u” and climbs on top of Jamie singing all the while!!!! I howled cuz that is what I would have done😂😂😂😂😂👍👍🥰🥰🥰u two r so real to life and act like u really r married in real life !!!!😂😂🥰
