Sick! A lot of people hate on the Volcas and recommend gear at 2x-10x the price, but the beauty of these lies in its simplicity and limitations. Show me anything else you can pick up for €70 (mk1) or €100 (mk2) used that does this. Great track!
Agreed. I've owned two Elektron devices, an MPC Live II, a Circuit, an OP-Z, and the new KO II. Each is an excellent device in its own right but none of them quite scratch the itch the Sample does. Simplicity, accessibility, grit, creative constraint. PS - would love to see the Sample 2 support probability via firmware hack or formal support.
I actually added the vocals in my DAW after, but you could do pull it off by putting the Volca into song mode. Save the sequence onto 2 channels and chain them together, having the sample only trigger in the second channel
I feel it! 🕺
😎
Wicked! 👌
Thanks!
very good
Thanks!

Thanks! I completely agree - working within the Volca’s limitations pushes me to be more creative
70 to 100EUR? Must live in the wrong country...

Agree, bro. These Volcas can do many things; everything is just notes and manipulated waves.

@@ryanwaingothanks!!
It will be super great if you can!
How did you get the feel it sample to trigger every 2 bars? I thought theu only did 1 bar? Got one on its way so trying to learn stuff in advance 🤣

@ryanwaingo cheers man that makes sense. I was looking in the video to see if you'd got patterns alternating but noticed you hadn't 🤣
