erm? How are you sampling a bass sample? unless I missed something, you have to load samples into the Volca first via the USB and then select them for the track - that's not sampling them in the traditional sense of say playing a record or a UA-cam video, sampling into the Volca. You have to use Audacity to get the original sample and then trim it and load it into the volca. Unless I have missed something colossal. Don't hate me I love your channel and have programmed pretty much every techno and house pattern for my projects into my Volca sample 2. Some of the tricks you have figured out are truly amazing. so it's not coming from a place of hate - more of me just being 'that guy'. You know, the pedantic one who corrects people who complement a track being played by correcting them on the remix of some obscure 90's techno track - "Actually, you are wrong, it was on the b-side, 2nd track. Just saying". Yep, that's me. Love your work.

Thank you for this one! I use a Volca Sample MKI and it does not allow to change a single step volume or pitch so trying to use Motion Sequence as a workaround but it's tricky and difficult. Again, thanks for all the knowledge you share!

No way it's not minimal techno. It's more like a clubhouse. And the first clap sounds like a joking whip. Sounds piercing and frustrating. The bass line sounds like from a hard bass style.

I forget how nice a simple setup can be. Only one synth and one drum machine. Pure fun without the “Too many options” problem. I have a Keystep Pro sequencing an Alesis DM5 drum module, Behringer Crave, Wasp and Model D. I have everything going through a Behringer U-Phoria UMC 1820 into my iPad. I use AUM on my iPad for effects. Even with that “simple“ setup, I tend to overcomplicate things by trying to combine my hardware synths with more iPad synths, sequencers and samplers. Too many options create workflow headaches. lol. Your video inspired me to try using only one synth and one drum machine at a time for a change. Keep up the good work. 👍🏾
