When I met his mother I asked at what age she found out he was allergic to nuts. She told me “ Oh I told him and his brother they were allergic to nuts so they wouldn’t eat my chocolates”

GrayStillPlays theorized this, that the more sims you have, the dumber they all are - in the sense that there is a collective IQ that is divided up amongst the sims and I honestly believe that to be true lol. When I have one to two sims, they are pretty smart! Six to eight.. where does the intelligence go?? Gray has houses of 100+ sims for his videos and they are just absolute idiots.. @@AkumaDayo I'm the same sensory wise. My aversion to peppers, onions and mushrooms (and some other vegetables) is purely texture based. I don't actually mind the taste, it's the texture I can't deal with. Trying to eat them doesn't make me gag like it used to but it definitely still has a negative impact, i still cringe if I try.
I'm the same with juice with bits/pulp.* OJ with bits? Not a chance. Aloe Vera juice with those little blobs in? Get it away from me. Fruit smoothies where I can feel the tiny seeds in my mouth? Get out of here

I've been playing The Sims 3 since 2018, and I have a pretty mid range PC. It's never crashed for me. Only issues I've had are a couple bugs, like with the investigator profession, but they're usually easy to fix or work around.
I'm late to the party with Sims 3, but it'd be nice to see more videos and stuff about it. Seems the game's mostly forgotten in 2020 😔

I do that with mushrooms - also have autism but I don’t see why I should have to explain that when I just don’t want mushrooms in my dinner
Lots of people just deal with ingredients they don’t like, so it is best to lie! Of course, if I knew someone had a sensory issue I wouldn’t involve it in the food, but if it is just flavor problem or small texture thing, I still will unless it’s like super bad issue (like broccoli will make me puke). If I’m cooking specifically for someone tho, it is most important what they’d like, so I wouldn’t even include ingredients that they don’t like.
I honestly think that, if someone asks you to come over for food, it is kind of expected of them to take your preferences into account.
Doesn't matter if it's a medical condition or just a "yeah I'm not into that" kind of thing.

I’ve just watched all 4 of your “expert” episodes, and wow it’s so noticeable that what used to be 3x mode where you could literally speed through a day in about 20 seconds takes about 6 minutes on 3x speed in sims 4. I really want a 10x speed option in sims 4.

I must have been blessed to have never experienced that.
It never happened enough to be a real problem for me, but I have gotten it. Usually coming out of create-a-style in build mode, so I always save before I go into that. Once in a while it'll just happen randomly while switching speeds though, so I have no way to prepare. Those are the worst lol.

I just came from the Sims 1 version of this challenge and it was wild - the fastest speed was so fast you couldn't keep up with them, and actually had to try to send them to work/school, but the sims actually tried to clean and look after themselves and then died to the game's love of setting things on fire... except for the one lady and kid plus a couple zombies? (which, I didn't even realize that game had). So yeah, long story short, now I kinda want to play Sims 1 again.
