Can I use my Continental 245/40/R18 tires on a 18x9.5 rim setup? Worried about it being too much of a stretch… or should I stick with 18x8.5 with 245’s? And if I stuck with 245s and 18x8.5 what offset would be better than stock? Thanks!
Wheels look great. Was color or style your reason for choosing these? My only complaint with the AV06 is their overall weight; I wish they were a pound or two lighter. I guess I can look at a 8.5" or 9" wide version to save some weight.
I just got 18x9.5 AVO6 and am saying that they are a bit too wide and slow the car down a bit, I think I'm going to sell mine and buy new 8.5's and hope that helps, lmk if anyone else has any input
good to know. changed my mind and I am going with the 18x9.5 et42 Crucial by Mach V Motorsports (aka Fastwrx)...I'd love to go 18x9.5 et45, but any of those wheels are several hundred more per wheel and in the end, we're only talking 3mm. good luck with your next set
have you noticed your car being a little slower on acceleration? I have the same wheels and size and have noticed it. Thinking of dropping to 8.5 to try and help with that
...you don't need a link. Search for 73.1mm (hub diameter your aftermarket wheel is) to 56.1mm hubrings. Choose plastic or metal and what fits your budget. Simple as that.
It's been a year now since this was uploaded. Did you ever have any rubbing issues with this setup? I'm looking at doing the same thing, but 9.5 offset worries me.
Tires in the last clip are 245/40r18. Still sitting at stock ride height, since they are wider wheels with a deep offset they do a much better job filling the wheel well and close that gap a bit
Hey man I really like the fitment and I want to get these in black, is there anyway you can drop links for the wheels and the extra hardware you bought (tuner lugs, etc)
Classy as always- digging the B-Roll
They look sooo good I’m thinking of getting this for my 2011 wrx
What tire size??
Beautiful car bro
Hows the performance reviews avid av06? Good buy for daily use?😊
Those look great dude.
im buying 9.5 wheels but my tire is 225, probably gonna poke out a lot LOL. what u think on that?
I tested that, it pokes out only a bit
nice video fam :) but you're missing your centre caps!! it'll look so much cleaner with them
what tire size is this bro?
Did you ever have any tire rub?
Sweet ride

Did you need spacers to clear the brembos with these rims?
What size is your tires ??

Will 18x10.5 be to wide on the front ? Ho them fit on the rear ?
I dig it !

It’s due to offset not being large enough. Subarus oem wheels are +58 I believe, and that’s the offset you wanna stay around
@@jacobclem8774 you need less offset if you are moving up to a 9.5” wide wheel.
Do you have a link to the hub rings?

Is your car lowered or it’s on the stock suspension ?

No rubbing issues to speak of, everything is holding up great!
@@mikezeller Thank you for the response! This might have to be what I go with. Looks clean!
If u have sti with brembos they rub on caliper
@@Box_channel great point, this setup is just stock WRX limited brakes, I can't speak for STI brembos
Offset isn’t 9.5 That’s the width.
Do u think some bbk would be possible ?
I think so, they offer significantly more clearance than the stock wheels
What size are the hub rings???
Inner diameter 56.1 mm outer diameter 73.1 mm.
do you think it will fit 2016 sti and clear the caliper? I really like it on your car
Thanks! I'm not 100% sure, there is more than enough clearance for the wrx but i can't speak for the STI
It hits the caliper . U can shave off a bit to get it to clear . That’s what I’m doing now
Wheels look amazing. The finish on the wheels is lack luster tho. Should have powder coated them. 😈
Bruh does it comes with tire pressure?
Nope gotta buy those separately
@@mikezeller did you install yourself? Thanks for replying by the way. Appreciate it 🤟😁
@@eksem1026 to some extent, I had the tires and pressure sensors installed/mounted at discount Tire then swapped out the wheels myself
@@mikezeller thanks bruh! Appreciate it! 🤔😁
One last thing ---> r u still rocking that rims till now?
What’s your tire size? they look thicker and are you on coil overs ?

offset of 18?
How are they holding up?
They have been holding up great so far! No issues with paint chips and they are super easy to clean
It’s 18x9.5 plus what?
18x19.5 +38
Do you leave these on year round?
No, I live in Wisconsin so I have winter tires on my stock wheels and I swap them out
@@mikezeller I live in Wisconsin as well. That's why I asked. Thinking about getting wheels for my legacy
@@stevenbellows9984 Gotcha, I'm a big fan of winter tires in general. If you have the means to have a dedicated set it's more than worth it
are you lowered?
Nope, stock ride height

No rubbing issues whatsoever! Thank you, I'm a big fan of the matte bronze look
What size the tire ??
What’s the offset
Offset is +38
Reps....never even once
