Just got the Hornhead Predator, myself, and I had to come here and comment on it. It's easily the worst NECA Predator figure I've bought, when it comes to QC. Have both legs completely stuck, like you did, and same with the arms. The gauntlets didn't immediately fall off, or anything, but they are both EXTREMELY gummy. I just went for it and basically twisted the right one off. There is absolutely no way to get it unstuck. The silver lining here is, that at least the gauntlet still stays on rather firmly, even when it's completely broken, like you pointed out. Might be a design flaw, made the hole too small for the beg, which in time gets completely stuck. Otherwise, aesthetically, an absolutely fantastic piece by NECA. Also got the other Series 18 figures, Broken Tusk, and Machiko Noguchi. They both were fine in QC, no issue.
Very lucky to have broken tusk and machiko, as I said mine fell apart straight away, and I haven't been able to find a broken tusk predator yet. Sorry your hornhead had lots of issues too!
Jeez, the quality control on NECA figures is crap. It's only got slightly better over time. I sometimes have to buy 3 figures to get one without QC. By the way, *if any product, toy or figure has obvious QC issues when you open it, you have every legal right to get a full refund (including for shipping charges if you ordered online).* It's 100% within the UK selling rules that all items purchased must be of sound workmanship, which means no instant breakage upon opening. The seller can't say "Well it's NECA what do you expect?" or "Sorry you shouldn't have opened it, it's not a toy." These are not legal arguments, and would mean the seller is ducking their responsibilities. The seller is always liable for the refund for shoddy items, even if the manufacturer is the ultimate cause of the problems. When it comes to NECA figures, I'm personally finished with buying their items. I've got a shelf for Aliens, Predators, Robocop vs Terminator, Resident Evil, Godzilla and a few Slasher figures. I've no reason to buy anything else from them, especially with their huge price increases and frankly shit quality control inspections. It's been a very frustrating journey getting a collection with as little QC as possible, and now I'm collecting other lines instead.
Do the reviews! 😁
They're coming!!! 😁
@@drawingjackrabbit401 huzzah!
Very nice realistic figures ...pity about the Predators arm.
Hopefully me and my uncle can put a metal rod through it and still enable it to articulate

Man, that Hornhead Predator looks siiick! Shame about the arm, though. I'd be down for some reviews of these, for sure.
Thanks, I'll deffinately get around to reviewing them.
