When I was a kid I remember seeing this pack and wanting it. Now I am seriously thinking about buying one of these versions to give myself that gift that was not possible a long time ago.
Very cool figures but I think it's more worth it to buy separate Alien and Predator figures since these old ones have very limited articulation (especially on the lower half). The skull accessories are really good though.
I actually don't know if the alien in this set had a posable jaw, 2011 NECA to even 2014 NECA had some major upgrades. Also if you crack the wrist thing with the blades where it meets the arm you can probably fix the blades. Edit: 2008 especially might just have not had moveable mouths, I have both predalien variants and one just cant move the jaw at all
Sorry in advance for the long-ass reply, but I'm bored and take this hobby way too seriously sometimes lol. Anyhoo.... I've been collecting the Neca Aliens ever since the company first started making them and have picked up every release so far. This particular version of their Big Chap was indeed Neca's first attempt at the creature, available in both single carded release and as part of a Toys R Us exclusive 2 pack (which this is a bootleg of in the video). The sculpt is very representative of it's time with McFarlane style cut joints and limited and outdated articulation, but I assure you that authentic copies of even this earliest version had a movable jaw and inner mouth. Just to clarify his theory on where these came from - these are not factory rejects of authentic production figures, they are definitely straight up bootlegs. Neca stopped producing this set a decade ago, and even back then these specific molds were knocked off in crazy amounts and flooded the market - even on Ebay and Amazon. To the best of my knowledge, the only way to know you have a legit version of these is to get a sealed copy with the silver Toys R Us sticker on the front. Sealed bootlegs don't have that sticker. Also, copyright info (usually found on the bottom of the feet) does not mean that a Neca figure is authentic as the bootleg factory is just stealing or recreating the molds - copyright info and all. Chinese manufacturers have gotten much better at bootlegging Neca stuff in the last decade to the point where it's almost impossible to tell the difference, but earlier KO's of these two were notoriously bad with horrible paint jobs and plastic quality. In addition to the real version, I bought an older version of this exact KO set for fun just to see what they were like. It was hot garbage. You could feel the difference in hand.
From the seller I got it from, including postage and tax it was about £25. Thus depends on where your from. Remember it is a bootleg so you may have some quality issues.

@@th3le0studio6 they are bootlegs. So they wont be the same as the original NECA's. Keep that in mind.
If they have the legal information in the feet they're probably original Neca but they get lost in time or something, thanks for the review
