Got Alf and he’s fun but loved the shirt/backpack on the SDCC version so much had to order that too. You should make miniatures of NECA SDCC exclusives to put in the SDCC Alf’s backpack. I also hate Super 7 btw.

What I love about Jonathan(sorry if misspelled )is that he won’t accept a sponsorship/review if he can’t be honest. I respect that. All figure /collectible have their faults but Neca consistently puts out amazing figures and overall in my opinion has less than the others. Best bag for your buck. Neca.

I hope Neca makes Alf with willies blue button up shirt. From the episode where Alf was lip syncing and dancing to Bob Seger's old time rock and roll. Bc those 🕶️ go better with that look. Of course Neca could reuse the 🕶️. I'm surprised Neca haven't made the Tanners. Or their neighbors the Ochmonek's. But it's probably a rights issue. Also if the fan base wants them or not. I'm probably in the minority of ppl who want them. It's a business, no company is going to shell out, all that 💰 to not! make a profit.
I don’t think they technically have a scale. I think they are one of those companies that do it to the inch instead. Which is why Alf and the Gremlins are all over the place
@@NostalgiaUnboxed no they definitely do have a scale. I’ve been collecting NECA for twenty years and even Randy Faulk said they do 1:10th( mainline stuff, ex Alf, Warduke etc) and 8inch for their clothes figures. And finally they for 1/4th.

I think it looks great but his size being too big for even 7” figures pretty much turned me off. He can’t interact scale wise with my other NECA product so I passed. Scale is important to me.
In feel neca is surpassing allot of other companies with what you get for your money. This year, I heard legends are going up another $5. Not even gonna speak on that right now. I never watched ALF growing up, just never appealed to me, but I can respect what they do with the rights they f*ck with.
Yeah, I've already stop buying figures as much as I used to, the price is a factor yes, but mostly because the reuse of bucks, lac of accessories and lack of paint

The sculptors and painters of NECA are the real Gah damn MVP's and are probably underpaid yet I really hope they are not and are compensated with what their survices ask for!.
Beautiful figure... but the upper chest bothers me a little. The cut above the belly is a little unattractive to me. It makes the overall look a little distracting. I would be happier if NECA would sometimes forgo some points of articulation for a better look....

It’s literally on the back of the box when I read the accessory list A slimeball is a food from Melmac that comes in at least two flavors: wild cherry (with a surprise cherry in the center) and slug (which has an analogous surprise in the center). ALF mentioned that he usually bought wild cherry, but the last time he purchased a slimeball on Melmac, "all they had was slug".

I thought it was Carl Shrub (or Ragweed, its equivalent on Earth), it's mentioned in the episode "Fever" in the 4th season and is both a delicacy and a medicine that fights illness for Melmacians. When I saw the object I thought "Wow, they remembered the ragweed / Carl Shrub thing, talk about attention to detail!"

Local used toy store. They seem to be getting them first but they might be in some targets now too
