Hi Faridah, There are other areas that your skills are very much needed in. Law offers transferrable skills that will get you into admin roles and in house legal roles as well and these don't require the LPC. I did the LPC and somehow regretted it. It is competitive to get a TC. But that doesn't mean you should give up. I did the LPC and I am not working in the legal sector in the next three years. But then, that doesn't mean my skills are invalid in the job market. You will be alright. Goodluck!
Hello Sally! Thanks for your kind comments❤️❤️ I’m currently working in Marketing and like you mentioned, many of the skills I gained at uni have been transferred to my current role.
Faridah: "...and I'm like, your terms and conditions says if you cancel within this period of time... So when they know I knew my right, they returned my deposit" Me: you don show them say you sabi this lawyer work 🤓
i will advise you delete this video. too many repetitions and your messages were not well outlined due to poor composure. you have to redo the video because we can't share this! my candid opinion. regards!
I disagree. This is a life update video, not one that's tackling a straightforward subject like "5 tips to xyz", and it's one that touches on a very crucial and difficult area of your life (trust me, I'm a Nigerian lawyer studying my LLM in the UK now so I know how it is) so it's understandable if it's not as straightforward as usual. Just makes it come off as more authentic and heartfelt. People who truly want to understand will watch it. For what it's worth, I do think you're making the right decision. The LPC is very costly and as you said, it holds no guarantees. There are several career paths that can leverage your law studies without requiring you to be a solicitor. I wish you best of luck, Farida.
@@koonbey , my opinion about her video is my personal perspective which i don't expect u or anybody to agree or disagree with. purely personal view. I never said anything about costly LPC or LAW, just the composure in the video so that affected people could understand. regards!
Share this video with who? You can't claim to have an opinion and a command in one. Telling her to delete the video is not your candid opinion because nobody asked for your opinion. If it doesn't align with you, keep it moving and stop throwing commands around like a general.
@duyilemi Adetiba I respect your opinion but sometimes it’s good to keep some things to yourself. Especially when you have nothing kind to say. Your comment/unsolicited advice could have been phrased differently to be honest. Anyway, thanks for sharing Fareedah. Very helpful video.
