@@PurpleWokey To be fair, I don't think ANYONE agrees on how "Chiron" is supposed to be pronounced. 😆 The English convention is usually "KAI-rawn" or "KAI-ruhn". The Greek is more like "KHEE-rohn" using that guttural "KH" sound. And Fate uses ケイローン (ke-i-roー-n).

Saving everything for Tonelico and NP5 Summer Castoria, although I’m really tempted by Durga. After Summer Castoria, I’ll be saving everything for NP5 Space Ereshkigal but I probably will end up trying for Aoko and Alice, they’re gonna be the hardest for me to skip lol. Depending on how lucky I am with Eresh, I’ll also try for Ciel.
My last target for the year is Lady Rikyu. After Wokey found success with his Ibuki saving saga I’m gonna attempt that too for next summer to make sure I get Skadi next year. Between the end of when I’m expecting Rikyu’s banner to end and 8th anniversary I should get about 225 tickets. Which means I will at least need 225 quartz for an even 900. If I hold on to everything I should get around 1,700~ quartz by anniversary. But that is not likely for me. From now to next summer my targets are Lady Rikyu, Draco, Durga and Summer Skadi.
Hopefully your saving goes as good as mine did! I'm waiting for the summer event to be fully complete before I start targeting a new unit with saved tickets.
It should have no effect since the back to school campaign was something they added for NA. So the JP banner still has to happen or people will complain
Didn't get summer skadi but got proto merlin so thats a plus. The rest of the banners this year are very tempting, and I hope i can hold out until the strongest aoe buster comes out next year

Yep so the units I am saving for will be Alterarj, melu and obbie boy. It's staggered good for my income and I started a week ago and got salter and koyan of light so no brainer for me. Thank you for the information

I just started playing yesterday and I'm feeling very overwhelmed. I really like Morgan as a character and I want to roll for her, but I don't know if from now until Nov is long enough to get enough quartz. Also having castoria after that makes me doubt it even more. Also what is np/mp, event ce and 50% and why does it help with farming. I tried looking up some guides but those use terms I'm not familiar with and it's all very confusing
I can try to help how I can! 1. Both Morgan and Castoria will be back next year! They are both extremely popular characters so they will always find their way back. Also NA sometimes does surprise banners that feature super popular characters (such as Koyanskaya who got a banner out of nowhere AFTER this video released). 2. NP = Noble Phantasm. It's short hand for the ultimate move characters do. 3. CE= Craft Essense. Those things that aren't servants that are in banners. 4. MLB = Max Limit Break. This is when you feed 4 Craft essenses into one of them making them stronger. 5. During events they typically give free CE's and they usually give 30% starting NP (Which means your noble phantasm gauge will be 30/100). After they MLB they will give 50% starting NP. The reason why this is important is because most units can loop starting at 50% NP. Some can do it at 0! It various from unit to unit. There are banner 50% starting NP but the fact that events give you them for free means you don't need to rely on luck to get those 6. Loop= Looping a unit so that they use their NP 3 times and to finish a farming quest in 3 turns which is typically what you aim for when farming. I can try to give an example but as I was writing it I was afraid it sounds more complicated than it actually is. So maybe I'll get to work on a video that helps explain the idea of buster, quick, arts and multicore farming.

@@Pixel_Fox I should also mention because I forgot to include it but you can only MLB a CE with another copy. Just like how you gain NP levels through dupes. 1. Go through the story to start! This event coming up you won't be able to participate in because you need to have cleared Lost belt 4, which is the story that comes after the singularities. Some events don't have story completion restrictions on them but just in case always try to stay on top of the story. 2. Lotto events are events where you grind for lotto tickets. With those lotto tickets you open up boxing of material have various materials in it. Unless they say otherwise, this can be repeated infinitely. The only thing stopping you is your Stamina. Lottos is what I used to have a crazy amount of material, the one coming up in November has it's main quests locked behind Lostbelt 6 but the free quests where the lotto grind happens is open to all! 3. There are some ways to do it. Currently on NA you either play the event while it's up, fully complete it and get your welfare or you complete a main interlude that has a welfare in it. In 2025 we will be getting something that JP has that will let us get older welfares from past events! 4. Yup they are! The main quests you only do once but the free quests are where you grind out materials to exchange things in the shop. 5. It largely depends. If you need EXP, class Gems, Statues or QP then all of that can be found in the daily quests. For materials in general a lot of people just try to buy out all the material available in event shops or gather what they can from the lotto. If your desperate for a specific material there is a full breakdown of where every material drops and it's best locations but you only do that when you BADLY need it and can't wait. 6. I would save it for now and just do the daily free summons. Eventually when you beat Lost Belt 6 they add a super good f2p Rider whose amazing at looping but she only gets added after you beat LB 6. There are also limited units that appear in the FP banner from time to time so I'd save! Also no problem, glad to help as long as I'm awake and not busy! Hope this all makes sense

It'll be an interesting rest of the year. But my plan is to mostly skip as much as possible and save for next year. Since wow, next year is going to be tough. Main focus will be Summer Melusine. But will be all over the Summer Castoria and Summer Kuro banner. Ideally finding some way to also roll for Draco along the way too. Hopefully it goes well. But regardless the year after won't be any easier. I mean geeze, Alice, Ciel, Space Ereshkigal...and the year isn't over yet!
Yeah next year is rouuuuuuuuuuuugh. Even as I was talking about my current plans I saw people skipping this summer for next year. It's crazy and then by the time we get there we need to prepare for next year too with all it's collab units.... it's tough having clairvoyance sometimes.
I can't wait for the imaginary scramble. Hopefully, i can get Van Gogh to NP3. im slowly working to get her to NP5. And when Wandjina comes out, I'll have some fun with that comp.
Try and prioritize getting supports such as Castoria, Merlin, Oberon, and Koyanskaya. Castoria is a top priority if you can get her as she will make your life easier. Waver is a great option if you use the free SSR ticket after clearing Fuyuki. Arjuna Alter and Super Orion are great at blowing past enemies and will help greatly with bosses.
Personally, Castoria is the best pick. She is a literal cheat code. Especially for new players since she can triviallize many annoying fights. BUT, here is the important point. You can just borrow her from your friend. Unless you have access to any form of Arts looping, double Castoria (using 2 of her in one team) isn't really that good for non Arts related team. So unless you REALLY want her and want to build Arts team, then you might want to focus on other units. My second recommendation after Castoria is Koyanskaya of Light. She isn't as gamechanging as Castoria, but she is a key support to enable the Buster loop. And unlike Castoria who can work alone, Koyanskaya can only trully shine if you have 2 of her in your team (1 your own and the other one is borrowed). My third recommendation is Oberon. He is a great suppport. But imo, he won't really bring much benefits for new players. Especially compared to the previous 2 options. But again, he is still a strong Meta Support. 70% NP charge is no joke. Extra recommendation: Morgan. As a person before me said, most important characters to have in this game is Meta Support (Castoria and the other 2 options are examples for this). Having them will make your life easier as even a 1* can do a great job if they are supported by Meta support(s). But Morgan is unique. She is both a good DPS and a good semi-support. She also works really well with Castoria. Together, they can make an immortal team. The ideal team is Castoria,Morgan,Merlin. But you can replace Merlin with any support you have (preferably those with some kind of healing). So in case you pick Castoria, I suggest for you to search for friends with Morgan in their support list. And if you somehow pick Morgan, then you need to search for Castoria friend (well, finding someone with Castoria in their support is so easy nowadays lol). Tho if you somehow can get both, then you can borrow Merlin to make the immortal team that can clear almost all quests in the game. Last advice, just pick the character that you like the most. Just do it. Especially if they are limited units.
Every banner I see from now on will go like this "hmm this isn't space eresh, I would really like atleast np3 space eresh that's unfortunate that you aren't space eresh"
For Huyan Zhuo and Yan Qing, the "a" in yan sounds more like the "e" in the words ten or yen. Sometimes it's also pronounced like "ah". The "uo" sound I can't think of any equivalent English word. The best suggestion I have for pronouncing is to just google translate it and see how it sounds. Lots easier than learning a whole new language.
hmm would probably be a good idea to hear how the character says it as well. They also sometimes get it wrong but I can at least point and say hey it's in the game
@@PurpleWokey That usually works but I think that might be difficult when Hanzi/kanji is involved because they can have different pronunciation in Mandarin and Japanese. For example, in Genshin the JP pronounce Hu Tao as how it sounds instead of Kurumi (same for Gaming/Yaoyao). On the other hand, Qiqi is pronounced Nana and similarly Keqing, Beidou, Ningguang are very different. For Huyan Zhuo, you can try putting her name from the wiki into Google Translate (呼延灼).
At minimum, I have two targets left, Huyan Zhuo and Britomart. I don't necessarily need Morgan since I've just been using my Arjuna Alter, but it wouldn't hurt to have another option, and Melusine would fulfill my lack of lancers since I only have Scathach and she is strong, but I need an AOE option. I am rolling for Kukulkan next year so I need to be careful with my savings or I'll have nothing for her.

I do want to finally pick up Morgan... but there are so many important banners later... Kukulkan, Tiamat, Draco, Aesc, Berserktoria, Ruler, melusine ... How many SQ would it be for all those?
If you wanted to 100% sure you got all 7 of them you would need 900 SQ x 7 = 6300 SQ. That assumes the worst luck imaginable. With good luck... hard to guess.
I like Himiko but I don't know much about all her viable teams, all I know is Immortal team or Morgan Teams, outside of that I don't know what else works well with her
Usually I use my Himiko whenever I need another buster supporter on the team. Usually it's a challenge quest and I go "she'd be good here" and I use her.
@@ChiyoTachi Nope. The scenarios I use her in are fights that don't end in 3 turns. It's more of a long drawn out battle. It's less a "team" and more a feeling that a fight will go on for awhile and Koyan won't survive it. So I bring in Himiko and 2 buster unit that can take advantage of her NP's benefits of buster power, overcharge and crit damage.

My last two remaining real wants for the near future are Okita and demon king nobu and I currently have 711 sq hopefully I’m at least in odds on my rolls
I will only try and roll 2 multi for the Koyan banner and the rest save for either Summer Ibuki or Summer Melusine. If I didn't get Koyan in that banner I'll try a GSSR her. I'll also save tickets for those banner just like what you did this year. Tho I might try and roll 2 multi for Draco too.
That's a good way to approach it. I use GSSR for the units I tried but failed to summon. Kind of like a back up or cushion for when my summons go bad. I'm also back to saving up my tickets and once JP summer ends I'll know who I want to use them on
Have no clue who I should get for my account I have ereshkigal, castoria swimsuit altria, Jeanne alter, yang guifei, mordred and just regular saber. I’m a casual for the game who plays once in a while so I was thinking just pulling Morgan but idk if I should?
I would say Oberon or Koyan of light would be good next targets. Both would be used with the Morgan you want as well. Though if you are that casual that you just pick it up every once in awhile then may as well go for the unit you actually want which is Morgan.

She will have her next banner on the 3000 day anniversary summon campaign assuming NA doesn't randomly release a banner with her early. We hit 2600 days on august 6th and 400 days from that is September 10th. So unless things change expect it around then.
Castoria would be the one I would personally save for. If I was missing all the units I mentioned here it be Her, Oberon, and Koyanskaya as the big 3 to go for but she should be my main priority.

Im a new player, i have around 340 QP. My only real units other than the friend summons are Mash (70) Zenovia (80) and Zhuge Liang (90). I have a bunch of friends with good support units. What should i roll on? Or would i be okay just waiting for the Lost Belt 7 summons?
Waiting for Castoria, Oberon or Koyan of light would be good idea. Castoria is the best support unit for Arts, Koyan the best for buster and Oberon is the best generic support (even though he's mostly used with buster units Arts and quick units can use him too) There are amazing units with LB 7 but if you did get them your next goal would be getting the best support unit that buffs them. If you feel confident that your friend supports + Waver (Zhuge Liang) are good enough supports for you now you can save for Tez or Kuku that come with LB 7. I would personally wait and try for Castoria, Oberon and Koyan though.

I just started playing yesterday and I'm feeling very overwhelmed. I really like Morgan as a character and I want to roll for her, but I don't know if from now until Nov is long enough to get enough quartz.
Also having castoria after that makes me doubt it even more. Also what is np/mp, event ce and 50% and why does it help with farming. I tried looking up some guides but those use terms I'm not familiar with and it's all very confusing
I can try to help how I can!
1. Both Morgan and Castoria will be back next year! They are both extremely popular characters so they will always find their way back. Also NA sometimes does surprise banners that feature super popular characters (such as Koyanskaya who got a banner out of nowhere AFTER this video released).
2. NP = Noble Phantasm. It's short hand for the ultimate move characters do.
3. CE= Craft Essense. Those things that aren't servants that are in banners.
4. MLB = Max Limit Break. This is when you feed 4 Craft essenses into one of them making them stronger.
5. During events they typically give free CE's and they usually give 30% starting NP (Which means your noble phantasm gauge will be 30/100). After they MLB they will give 50% starting NP. The reason why this is important is because most units can loop starting at 50% NP. Some can do it at 0! It various from unit to unit. There are banner 50% starting NP but the fact that events give you them for free means you don't need to rely on luck to get those
6. Loop= Looping a unit so that they use their NP 3 times and to finish a farming quest in 3 turns which is typically what you aim for when farming.
I can try to give an example but as I was writing it I was afraid it sounds more complicated than it actually is. So maybe I'll get to work on a video that helps explain the idea of buster, quick, arts and multicore farming.

50% ce are event drops that enable looping (a farming tactic that I'll look into)
I've got a few more questions about farming and events
- when should i start doing events ( I'm currently at Orleans)
- what are lotto events and how do I effectively make use of them
- how do I get the event welfare servents
- are event stages farmable
- what are the usual farming stages (daily quest stages?)
- should I save up fp or just use it all on rolls

@@Pixel_Fox I should also mention because I forgot to include it but you can only MLB a CE with another copy. Just like how you gain NP levels through dupes.
1. Go through the story to start! This event coming up you won't be able to participate in because you need to have cleared Lost belt 4, which is the story that comes after the singularities. Some events don't have story completion restrictions on them but just in case always try to stay on top of the story.
2. Lotto events are events where you grind for lotto tickets. With those lotto tickets you open up boxing of material have various materials in it. Unless they say otherwise, this can be repeated infinitely. The only thing stopping you is your Stamina. Lottos is what I used to have a crazy amount of material, the one coming up in November has it's main quests locked behind Lostbelt 6 but the free quests where the lotto grind happens is open to all!
3. There are some ways to do it. Currently on NA you either play the event while it's up, fully complete it and get your welfare or you complete a main interlude that has a welfare in it. In 2025 we will be getting something that JP has that will let us get older welfares from past events!
4. Yup they are! The main quests you only do once but the free quests are where you grind out materials to exchange things in the shop.
5. It largely depends. If you need EXP, class Gems, Statues or QP then all of that can be found in the daily quests. For materials in general a lot of people just try to buy out all the material available in event shops or gather what they can from the lotto. If your desperate for a specific material there is a full breakdown of where every material drops and it's best locations but you only do that when you BADLY need it and can't wait.
6. I would save it for now and just do the daily free summons. Eventually when you beat Lost Belt 6 they add a super good f2p Rider whose amazing at looping but she only gets added after you beat LB 6. There are also limited units that appear in the FP banner from time to time so I'd save!

It'll be an interesting rest of the year. But my plan is to mostly skip as much as possible and save for next year. Since wow, next year is going to be tough.
Main focus will be Summer Melusine. But will be all over the Summer Castoria and Summer Kuro banner. Ideally finding some way to also roll for Draco along the way too. Hopefully it goes well. But regardless the year after won't be any easier. I mean geeze, Alice, Ciel, Space Ereshkigal...and the year isn't over yet!
Yeah next year is rouuuuuuuuuuuugh. Even as I was talking about my current plans I saw people skipping this summer for next year. It's crazy and then by the time we get there we need to prepare for next year too with all it's collab units.... it's tough having clairvoyance sometimes.
Targets are Sen no Rikyu and Huyan Zhuo then I'm done for the year 😩🙏

I can't wait for the imaginary scramble. Hopefully, i can get Van Gogh to NP3. im slowly working to get her to NP5. And when Wandjina comes out, I'll have some fun with that comp.
Yeah I really want Van Gogh too. Every time I look at her kit I think of fun teams I could use her in and remember oh wait... don't have her
as a new player what are the units i should prioritize getting?
Try and prioritize getting supports such as Castoria, Merlin, Oberon, and Koyanskaya. Castoria is a top priority if you can get her as she will make your life easier. Waver is a great option if you use the free SSR ticket after clearing Fuyuki. Arjuna Alter and Super Orion are great at blowing past enemies and will help greatly with bosses.
Personally, Castoria is the best pick. She is a literal cheat code. Especially for new players since she can triviallize many annoying fights.
BUT, here is the important point. You can just borrow her from your friend. Unless you have access to any form of Arts looping, double Castoria (using 2 of her in one team) isn't really that good for non Arts related team. So unless you REALLY want her and want to build Arts team, then you might want to focus on other units.
My second recommendation after Castoria is Koyanskaya of Light. She isn't as gamechanging as Castoria, but she is a key support to enable the Buster loop. And unlike Castoria who can work alone, Koyanskaya can only trully shine if you have 2 of her in your team (1 your own and the other one is borrowed). My third recommendation is Oberon. He is a great suppport. But imo, he won't really bring much benefits for new players. Especially compared to the previous 2 options. But again, he is still a strong Meta Support. 70% NP charge is no joke.
Extra recommendation: Morgan. As a person before me said, most important characters to have in this game is Meta Support (Castoria and the other 2 options are examples for this). Having them will make your life easier as even a 1* can do a great job if they are supported by Meta support(s). But Morgan is unique. She is both a good DPS and a good semi-support. She also works really well with Castoria. Together, they can make an immortal team. The ideal team is Castoria,Morgan,Merlin. But you can replace Merlin with any support you have (preferably those with some kind of healing). So in case you pick Castoria, I suggest for you to search for friends with Morgan in their support list. And if you somehow pick Morgan, then you need to search for Castoria friend (well, finding someone with Castoria in their support is so easy nowadays lol). Tho if you somehow can get both, then you can borrow Merlin to make the immortal team that can clear almost all quests in the game.
Last advice, just pick the character that you like the most. Just do it. Especially if they are limited units.

For Huyan Zhuo and Yan Qing, the "a" in yan sounds more like the "e" in the words ten or yen. Sometimes it's also pronounced like "ah". The "uo" sound I can't think of any equivalent English word.
The best suggestion I have for pronouncing is to just google translate it and see how it sounds. Lots easier than learning a whole new language.
hmm would probably be a good idea to hear how the character says it as well. They also sometimes get it wrong but I can at least point and say hey it's in the game
@@PurpleWokey That usually works but I think that might be difficult when Hanzi/kanji is involved because they can have different pronunciation in Mandarin and Japanese. For example, in Genshin the JP pronounce Hu Tao as how it sounds instead of Kurumi (same for Gaming/Yaoyao). On the other hand, Qiqi is pronounced Nana and similarly Keqing, Beidou, Ningguang are very different. For Huyan Zhuo, you can try putting her name from the wiki into Google Translate (呼延灼).

At minimum, I have two targets left, Huyan Zhuo and Britomart. I don't necessarily need Morgan since I've just been using my Arjuna Alter, but it wouldn't hurt to have another option, and Melusine would fulfill my lack of lancers since I only have Scathach and she is strong, but I need an AOE option. I am rolling for Kukulkan next year so I need to be careful with my savings or I'll have nothing for her.
I also really want Britomart but her being so close to Kuku.... I'll need to see how my SQ supply is looking like at that point
My remaining banner for this year is Jalter and Morgan. After that saving for kuku and draco (might buy several packs as well)

Kukulkan, Tiamat, Draco, Aesc, Berserktoria, Ruler, melusine ... How many SQ would it be for all those?
If you wanted to 100% sure you got all 7 of them you would need 900 SQ x 7 = 6300 SQ.
That assumes the worst luck imaginable. With good luck... hard to guess.

I like Himiko but I don't know much about all her viable teams, all I know is Immortal team or Morgan Teams, outside of that I don't know what else works well with her
Usually I use my Himiko whenever I need another buster supporter on the team. Usually it's a challenge quest and I go "she'd be good here" and I use her.

@@ChiyoTachi Nope. The scenarios I use her in are fights that don't end in 3 turns. It's more of a long drawn out battle.
It's less a "team" and more a feeling that a fight will go on for awhile and Koyan won't survive it. So I bring in Himiko and 2 buster unit that can take advantage of her NP's benefits of buster power, overcharge and crit damage.

Huyan Zhou is my next roll, then the last two copies of Morgan, then Kuku. After that nothing till Draco.

My last two remaining real wants for the near future are Okita and demon king nobu and I currently have 711 sq hopefully I’m at least in odds on my rolls

I will only try and roll 2 multi for the Koyan banner and the rest save for either Summer Ibuki or Summer Melusine. If I didn't get Koyan in that banner I'll try a GSSR her. I'll also save tickets for those banner just like what you did this year. Tho I might try and roll 2 multi for Draco too.
That's a good way to approach it. I use GSSR for the units I tried but failed to summon. Kind of like a back up or cushion for when my summons go bad. I'm also back to saving up my tickets and once JP summer ends I'll know who I want to use them on

Have no clue who I should get for my account I have ereshkigal, castoria swimsuit altria, Jeanne alter, yang guifei, mordred and just regular saber. I’m a casual for the game who plays once in a while so I was thinking just pulling Morgan but idk if I should?
I would say Oberon or Koyan of light would be good next targets. Both would be used with the Morgan you want as well. Though if you are that casual that you just pick it up every once in awhile then may as well go for the unit you actually want which is Morgan.

I think I'll likely end up summoning on those too because I like having grind CE for events. Plus I want Britomart because she has the same artist as Helena
Are there any good castoria banners in 2025? I need her but pulling with two rate ups seems risky.
She will have her next banner on the 3000 day anniversary summon campaign assuming NA doesn't randomly release a banner with her early.
We hit 2600 days on august 6th and 400 days from that is September 10th. So unless things change expect it around then.
I just started playing the game like two weeks ago, should I only pull for Morgan, Castoria and Melusine?
I would focus on Castoria and then see where to go from there after you fail or succeed in getting her.

Castoria would be the one I would personally save for. If I was missing all the units I mentioned here it be Her, Oberon, and Koyanskaya as the big 3 to go for but she should be my main priority.

Im a new player, i have around 340 QP. My only real units other than the friend summons are Mash (70) Zenovia (80) and Zhuge Liang (90). I have a bunch of friends with good support units. What should i roll on? Or would i be okay just waiting for the Lost Belt 7 summons?
Waiting for Castoria, Oberon or Koyan of light would be good idea. Castoria is the best support unit for Arts, Koyan the best for buster and Oberon is the best generic support (even though he's mostly used with buster units Arts and quick units can use him too)
There are amazing units with LB 7 but if you did get them your next goal would be getting the best support unit that buffs them. If you feel confident that your friend supports + Waver (Zhuge Liang) are good enough supports for you now you can save for Tez or Kuku that come with LB 7.
I would personally wait and try for Castoria, Oberon and Koyan though.

Hello, Super Orion is really powerful but if your looking for the top of the meta first then it's better to save for Castoria/Oberon.
