Hi Dave, I watched Saturdays broadcast of you making the house side of your gate and it’s coming along wonderfully. After hearing your comment about how much you received from UA-cam $11.78 for the video on your wood hinge I went back this morning and watched again and can’t believe how clever you designed it. I know how much work you put into your videos and it’s to bad that UA-cam changed how the makers get paid. Anyhow please keep up the great job and I’m looking forward to hearing your announcement next week. I hope you’re going to keep sharing your knowledge with the woodworking community. I myself have decided to start getting rid of a lot of my woodworking stuff. I don’t have a designated woodworking space like you and it’s just getting to hard to keep up with all my stuff. Thanks again Dave. See you next week

@@DavidStanton thanks for the reply Dave. Yes I’m keeping for now my table saw, bandsaw, dusty, and thickness planer and a few other things. It’s getting to frustrating at my age to keep looking for stuff with not have just one place to keep everything. Please keep up the great job on your show Dave

Hi Dave very informative video . i was wondering how you made the wooden hinges over a long piece of wood. I would not have guessed that they were individual items glued together.

hmm, not sure that both ends were cut off James? Each individual knukle was made and then assembled/glued.

@@DavidStanton sorry that's what I meant, the knuckles were individual, as opposed to drilling the hinge pin hole in one giant piece of wood

This is an interesting way to do a wooden hinge and would be great for one of my products I offer...I'm subscribing to your channel. I also have a video on my channel for how I make wooden hinges. I hope you have time to check it out. I'd love to get your feedback on it. I plan on making a NEW one on how I've since critiqued my process. I get a LOT of questions about the process and I probably need to clarify some things.
