Any bit of income help pay the bills! I hope that you can hook up with another you tuber so that you can get who that would be so you can get more watchers. Hey Aaron, I've noticed you use mostly traditional setups. Have you used roller-guns? and would you recommend using one as an experienced spearfisherman? I've been diving for three years and currently use a double roller-head but Im striving for better range and accuracy. Greetings from the Sunshine Coast, Australia.
I have zero experience with rollers! a lot of people swear by them but I'm an old fashioned guy. if it ain't broke don't fix it. if I start missing fish or coming up short i'll explore other options. I think with increased range I would sacrifice accuracy. which after all is the selling point of a roller.
Thanks for all the education on spearfishing. Couple questions, why not using explosive tips so don't have to fight big fish?, do you taxidermy?, finally is spearfishing sharks legal? Happy holidays.
some people do, it's prohibited in some places. adds an extra expense. don't have any issues with the way I do it now. I dont taxidermy and its illegal here!
@@KeyWestWaterman only time I see it worth while to use powerheads is guys like Dan MacMahon tri-mix diving in 200-300 feet of water shooting big Carbos, Gags, muttons, and AJs. No time to play around at that depth and he's shooting commercially. And you don't have 20 minutes to get them out of the ledge at that depth. But he's also surgically accurate with that freeshaft gun of his and stones most of his fish. If you haven't seen him go check him out. The #s he dives are like jurassic park!
Hey man. Enjoyed your bluewater setup. Just curious about bluewater spearfishing... do you usually have to dive very deep for these wahoos? From the videos I got a feeling they're most of the times cruising near the top water columns, so about 10 ft to 20ft max? For your bluewater trips do you have to dive super deep? Thanks.

happy to help!
Nice setup ! thanks for sharing greets from Paradise Aruba
thanks for watching!!!
Ran across your videos way back when you started, I like your honesty and take time to explain your way of doing things I can imagine that you are fun to fish with. Any bit of income help pay the bills! I hope that you can hook up with another you tuber so that you can get who that would be so you can get more watchers. I like to see you use your electric reels once and awhile to break things up.
really do appreciate the feedback! and we are getting there slowly but surely! and deep drop season is right around the corner!
Thanks.
typically the wahoo come in around 20-30 ft but sometimes on the surface, its rare I shoot at one past 40-50 ft!
How you use over rubbers etc etc...thats me!! Great minds think alike😎👍
haha saves me a ton!
Very good video how do you load the blue water guns ?
chest load them, I talk about the band pattern in the beginning of my video a couple videos ago I think it was " I lost my cool"
Very interesting. Thank you sharing. Itch scratched!
thanks for watching!
All around solid.
thanks for watching!
Started watching your videos with my dad awhile back. I saw your Q sticker on your gear cabinet down stairs. My Honey Badger is in ATF lock up. What Q product do you own? Keep up the videos and you have a new subscriber.
Haha keen eye! I have a badger SBR with the trash panda. An el Camino and an erector 9. Glad you enjoy the videos brother!
@@KeyWestWaterman Noice!!! Yea I got the Panda on a X95 Tavor until my Badger gets out of prison. It might not be your passion and I know your busy with what you have going but maybe start a Gun/Gear channel. Check out the Q Podcast Kevin is a savage hunter.

That was very interesting, what size guns do you use blue water? Are they 1.5m guns?
idk in meters, I have several ranging from 64" to 74"
Good vid. Thanks for explaining the gear.
thanks for watching!
Interesting share...thankyou....hope you make millions in the future
haha as long as I can afford to go fishing i'm good!
Spot on. Enjoyed the speargun info
happy to hear it!
Is that merch In the background? If not go ahead and put out the basics lol… shirts, hats, etc long sleeve cotton shirt would be 💯
yea I only have youth sizes left, a lot of it is Madeleines! I have more shirts on the way!
That was a great video😀🌴🌴🍺
glad you enjoyed it!
Why do you use wooden guns over a carbon? Or a roller?
it's just what I prefer. if I start missing fish or coming up short i'll explore my options. doesn't mean I'm right just my preference!
Great video! For diving fins is there any company in particular that makes great carbon fiber fins. And what is your advice in the stiffness of the fins. Is it better a stiffer or softer fin? Thank you!
I think he uses alchemy fins. Softer is better. I have a medium stiffness and it is killer on my ankles.
i'm in love with my alchemys. 5 year warranty, I dive more in a year than most do in 10 and i'm on my second year with them and no issues. im 6'1" 160 and I kick a medium soft, it all depends on size and physical ability!
Can you tell me what you attach your flasher floats to? Thanks for the video
Nothing we just hold onto them if it’s windy or they float next to us.
Great video. Thanks for sharing
can i request more gear vids? Have seen all your videos in the past, but do u have any oddball tips or gun rigging advice?
i'll try to squeeze them in when I can!
