Built for the consumer? Who are they building trucks for now? Lol

I have a 66 f100 with this same engine/trans. I noticed your steering wheel is aftermarket and slightly smaller than the original large one like mine has and you took less effort to turn at low speeds, has this been converted to have power steering?

What transmission is that? I have a Ford Galaxie auto that I want to swap a 4 speed into but I don't get much whenever I Google which manual transmissions will hook up to a 352. So the brand and model number would be Greatly appreciated

The transmission in the truck is a NP 435 however that is not something that she would want in an application such as a galaxy the NP 435 is a more commercial or industrial transmission pretty much a bullet proof however have very poor gear ratios for cruising and performance lots of slack in a very extremely short first gear that is not synchronized you would want something more like a T5 or T 10 or a top loader you would just need to find a bell housing that would fit the transmission to the back of the engine and you’re set

@@willyman120willmoore3 much appreciated! So I'm going to give a little insight on my plans for the car. Basically I'm a teen who is about to start driving, so cost is definitely a large issue. I have the car, it works just fine except for the fact that it has the original worn out 175k Mile FMX auto box. I want a 4 speed so I've been doing some digging, and basically I need something cheap and bulletproof. That being said. That new T10 was nearly $2200. Since the transmission you have is evidently not a good fit, are there any other truck transmissions that would be better suited for cruising around town? I also have quite a few friends with cars the same age as mine, so I may end up having to pull them around, so a granny low may not be a terrible idea.

I am also a teen, and cost is a factor for me daily so I understand. Are there any junkyards near you? If so I would look into finding any mustang 4 speed from years 1965-87. Those early mustangs are toploaders and those later years tend to be t5s. There are about a million videos and information about t5 swaps I know many people who have swapped t5s into trucks. So I would consider that.

    That's either a 351 Cleveland or a 351 Windsor engine! You're driving a Ford!
Never heard of a 352 hahaha!

The 352 is a part of the FE engine family. Motors are very common. Starting in 1958 with the 332CU and ranging from 332-428. These motors where in everything from stockcars, sedans, wagons, trucks, even mustangs (except for the first generation). Hell, I'm sure they even put them in boats. They're very unique due to the intake manifold and head design.
