Not really though your argument is partially true the quality of sound depends on quite a few things,
1.The source of the audio
2.The recording mic
3. The audio output medium
So unless you have 50 cent earphones, you will be able to spot at least some difference between this phone and a cheap copy of it or some low-end.
Some tips to identify good sound quality-:
1. Try to listen and make out the depth of the sound
2. Try to increase the volume
3. Repeat
in my experience, I can make out sound differences on 20$ headphones easily.

Headphone jack is not necessary when Bluetooth headphones can last up to 18 hrs now for the slim wire ones. Now we just wait 2 years for the buds to get there from 8 hrs.

And in fact I would recommend that.
The note 9 is just great and the 10 isn't much of an upgrade.
The only problem I have with the note 9 is that it has no wide angle camera.
So you must choose wisely between the note and the S10. Whether you want the pen, or you want a great camera and newer features .
Truly a better option with all the features intact

The base model will come with 256gb, how much more do you need? For a xs max base model you would have to pay more than 950 dollars for 64gb, I would definitely get a phone that's cheaper than the shit s max and still have more storage and better performance
