Reuben (Ben Stiller from There’s something about Mary and Meet the Fockers) wants to prove to Polly (Jennifer Aniston from Friends and The Break-up) that he can be a little crazy, and that he doesn't want her to take the plane. So he takes peanuts from a street vendor, rubs them against the vendor's hands, then throws them on the ground and eats them anyway. They decide that from now on they are going to take it slow between them and Polly agrees to stay and have dinner with Reuben. They see Claude (Hank Azaria) at the beach and say they are just enjoying being together.

Reuben Feffer (Ben Stiller from There’s something about Mary and Meet the Fockers) is the most careful and far-sighted man in the world. But all his meticulously planned plans for the future are suddenly reduced to nothing when he surprises his wife in the middle of their honeymoon in the arms of the diving instructor. His meeting with the bubbly Polly (Jennifer Aniston from Friends and The Break-up), a former classmate, comes along at just the right time and takes him far from his daily routine in a whirlwind of adventures, each more unexpected than the other.

It’s just their feelings not strong enough for marriage. It’s a waste of time, dating someone like that. Any time if the find someone with stronger feelings than what they have for you, they will simply say I don’t think this is gonna work out I don’t have strong feelings for you and don’t want to waste my time. In Polly’s in the movie case she just didn’t want to admit it because went against her ideologues but ideologies can change after experience.
That means those feelings are not strong enough. Ultimately it's less meaning.

lol how? People like Reuben exist. It's a story and moving on from heartbreak in your life as a man and learning to take that risk again. You can choose to be a hard ass and bottle up your feelings but eventually it will explode if you want it too though.
as im older, this gets more and more tragic, for the woman, instead of chasing dreams, they get tied down to some dude. people think its some love story, but all this is, is a scene where an outlandish lady is held down by a relationship, poor girl.
is it? It seems like he did a good job of convincing her things would work out. She isn't being imprisoned, if she wants to go explore her dreams that's what she'll do. A relationship doesn't stop that.
