I think I've said this before but every once in a while a time lapse hits RIGHT and this one is prime example for that. It's such a joy to watch you doing what you do best: hitting the vibe just right (and showcasing a great taste in music!) And don't you dare ever changing that cobble road, it is such a beautiful touch. Big yes please.
I looove the cobble stone IMT trick! I'd almost do the whole area! The sunken recycling centre is amazing too! Incredible work egg! Feels so authentic and Aussies love a good winery/brewery tour!
Those fields with that tree palette really look the part. I love how you've picked from a bunch of different industries to make that coherent looking brewery area. Every video I learn another thing to make my city look good....well....better than it was. Thanks OE!
Eeeegggg this build is so cool! First off, I loved the fake fields at the start. Sooo much of rural fertile Australia is farmed, it looks so perfect. I actually laughed out loud when you said "and now lets turn our attention to getting pissed" - spoken like a true Aussie 🤣 I thought using the cattle shed and the flour factory was such a great idea, I hate putting those huge buildings onto my farms haha they look much better in a built up industrial area. And then the COBBLE ROADS!! Yes please!!! #TeamCobble4Lyf And then the pubs. The absolute cherry on top haha. So great! Hopefully will catch the next premiere live x Lets get to that beach!
Don't know how much pre-planning goes into the episodes but this was pure joy to watch, to listen to and to have fun in the chat! ❤ What's not to love? The asset placement, the fake fields, the fewsing, the IMT work, the cobble, the barrels, the FLTs and the booze 😁 all the details coming together in a truly amazing build ❤❤❤ I wish I could like the vid more than once, but will definitely watch it more than once.
What a scenic build! I totally love old industrial build style, but the game makes it hard not to accidently add "new" cartoonish assets. 25:43 you know one of the left buttons is a filter for decals? Using it would freethe text filter for additional search criteria, thus more specific results... Thanks for the entertainment!
Great build. Perfect spot to grab some beer battered fish. Love the addition of the corner pubs. So Aussie Mate. Well done. Have to say that the lut you use, as well as the forest brush is perfectly Australian. Gorgeous, I feel right at home, even if I'm a Southerner.
The grain silos and elevators at the flour mill could stand in as almost a malting facility, which a brewery wouldn't necessarily do themselves, but what better place to have a maltster than right next to a brewery. Similarly with the barrels on pallets, and stacks of wood, like there was a cooperage right nearby as well. Such a superb bit of detailing. When you merged the wine and liquor store into the factory building I actually gasped it was such a nice touch. If a farm nearby were growing potatoes, the town would be calling out for a chippy. I wonder if there's an asset for that. Maybe a sign for the two story white pub on the corner to make that a chip shop?
i'm just imagining grabbing some beer-battered fish n chips at a nearby lunch spot where all the ingredients are made locally in Valkyrie. That would be sooo yummy. All we need now is a potato farm and we're well on the way
ABSOLUTELY smashed it, Egg!!! Fave build so far of Thessia. The bricks, the cobbles, the forklifts, the R O C K S all made me so very happy!!! Will be watching again with my nose pressed up against the screen to see all the delicious-ness you've created!!! Love it!!!! 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
not as silly of a combo as some people might think , both products obviously require water ... however, some fish 'waste' that isnt used for food , is used to clear alcohol , to separate the sediment from wine and real ale. so totally in the realms of realism cool video
Just love this build Egg.... cobblestone really bring in the "old time" vibe of a brewery district that has been modernized but remains true to its origins....Very enjoyable.
After you finish up the Australian towns make one large city (like a miniature Melbourne or Sydney) as about 80% of Australians live just in five citites so the real experiance is in large cities. You can turn the city into financial and political capital of the country. Like a place for which the Valkery's industrial areas produce for.
Love an 80s electro time lapse 🤩 The farm could do with some potato fields to emulate the Orchid Bay fish & chip area.... And some spotlights highlighting the brewery sign would really pop on the night time flyby
One thing I envy about Skylines UA-camrs, and that keeps me from doing it, is the way y'all can plan builds. Sure, I have ideas on where to put train stations and such. But beyond that, I just panic and spam zoning wherever I can fit it when I see the RIC indicator yelling at me. So I always end up with chaotic cities... a little residential here, a little over there, roads as needed.
Gorgeous build, Mr Egg. I especially love the "gift shop" fusing. I need to look into these cargo container warehouses now! I think the cobble roads look OK, but the arrow markings seem out of place. Otherwise looks good to me
I really enjoyed the detailing time lapse and a big YES too the cobble stone road. I really loved the little wine bar added to the side of the brewery. The whole vibe of Thessia really hits the rural feel. Very enjoyable, thank you for sharing your imagination!!
i really like the design of the brewery. its a very "Less is More" feel and it really works well by mushing multiple buildings together. Its making me re-think how i view industrial spaces
Great build, gives plenty of inspiration of some cool combinations. Note on the making barrels themselves, when I was at a tour at Guiness in Dublin they showed archive footage of barrels being made inside the brewery complex, so not unrealistic at all. I used the filler decal option in IMT quite a bit since it came out but oh my word did not know you could drag the lines in IMT to adjust them, game changer!
Absolutely stunning work! One thing I would expect though is some kind of controlled access to the Brewery so a small hut for a security guard and some kind of gate. There is a sub building of the toll road that works great for this
I looked at some exterior photos of some breweries which to be honest I've never thought about before. They really do look like big industrial complexies. Who woulda thunk it.. Thanks OE!!
After enjoying the live chat, I always like to watch the episode again to pick up on the details of the build and the little gems from Egg like this @10:07
What an amazing build 😍. This must be one of your videos with the most amount of detailing inspirations to take away. The brick road in the entrance area is such a cool idea, along with the fused generic industry and the fact that you managed to get all the resources generated within the Brewery build for the factory - without the buildings looking out of place. I love the idea with the winery commercial as a gift-shop and the fishing area sits in very nicely at the shore. Love this one, cheers 🍻
Cheers Egg. Coming to this one late but this is a banger. I’m building along on this map also trying a train-heavy build but I’ve gone too quick and run into industry demands with two separated towns too big (~ 10k population each side of the map). This episode really inspired me to delete a lot of zoning to shrink my population back down and focus on good realism. PS. Love the rural field spice
You're such an awesome designer and love your video vibe. Super spice blend of relaxing, inspiring, and entertaining. Sad you couldn't fit the V-logo design in IMT on the custom roundabout.
Love the cobblestone! Fits perfectly! This a masterful combination of the industries to reach a design/visual goal. It is just wonderful! The kegs/barrels were really needed! But the question: can you get beer and fish and chips here? 🤣
I rarely leave comments on youtube videos, but i just wanted to say that you're smashing it Egg. The Thessia series has really captured parts of Australia im so familiar with growing up and sort of created a sense of home and calm whenever i watch the series. I've been struggling with a lot of things these last few weeks and watching episodes of this series has given me the escape from the world when I've needed it most. Keep up the amazing work Egg!!
Great build Egg. Maybe you could look into the road texturing in the intersections throughout the industry. Seems like the asphalt doesn't match the rest of the industry's asphalt texture. Love the series Egg!
Amazing, I've been a massive fan of Biffa and City Planner for years but you have overtaken them as my favourite skylines youtuber. Loving this build, just wish I had the patience to have a crack at doing something like this myself, a better PC would probably come in handy too!
A lot of breweries have restaurants, could be a cool thing to add, also with the fish market there the restaurant could be getting fresh fish to serve as well
I know that for Cities Skylines is not a problem but can you try to make the pier lower so that you don't need a 20 meters ladder just to reach the boats? You only need to lower everything down just a smidge more... You'd be the first of my followed creators to actually care for this detail of realism ❤ Thank you and eggy hugs, Ribbon
As a brick lover this episode brought me so much joy! Once again Egg you found a way to create something absolutely unique. I love the end result! That cobbled street is just a chef's kiss 🤌 Didn't know IMT allowed for this! Looking forward to the next one!
as someone who has actually worked in an industrial area in the Australian outback, whoever left those forklifts out in the sun is going to get a serious case of red arse when either he sits on the boiling hot leather seat or when he encounters the guy who was unlucky enough to sit there first.
Wooden barrels for beer seems extremely old-fashioned, especially for a big mainstream brand like Valkyrie Bitter… but Australia makes wine and whiskey too, so a cooperage set up to serve the brewery could easily still be making wooden barrels.
I wish some creators would look at south aust. The west end brewery would been a perfect reference for this.. it's also because we are stuck in the 1800s lol
This probably won't function great, but maybe consider adding a walking tour through the facility just to hit the vibes you mentioned at the end. A little tourism wouldn't hurt.
Im thoroughly enjoying this- everything is looking quite good and Australian... But I cant get past the huge 3 lane roundabouts.... Thats not something you see anywhere in these smaller towns... Its rare even in cities and or big towns lol... Our roundabouts are all so small here haha.
Hello! I was wondering how do you have your game looking like that, and if you could make a video about it! I think it would be awesome! Thank you and keep up the good work
9:52 While I know you're referencing that word as used in some fictional context, (I forget what though lol) and that spelling wasn't right in any way - there's not one way to spell it. how to get that "OE" LOGO
Thank you Dus

I looove the cobble stone IMT trick! I'd almost do the whole area! The sunken recycling centre is amazing too! Incredible work egg! Feels so authentic and Aussies love a good winery/brewery tour!
Thank you Heather!! I was thinking the whole area but thought maybe they'd just preserve the ol' cobbles by the front 🤔
Those fields with that tree palette really look the part. I love how you've picked from a bunch of different industries to make that coherent looking brewery area. Every video I learn another thing to make my city look good....well....better than it was. Thanks OE!
Thank you Endy, glad you enjoyed the fields. I think we'll stick some of those on the other side of town :)
Eeeegggg this build is so cool! First off, I loved the fake fields at the start. Sooo much of rural fertile Australia is farmed, it looks so perfect.
I actually laughed out loud when you said "and now lets turn our attention to getting pissed" - spoken like a true Aussie 🤣

So great! Hopefully will catch the next premiere live x Lets get to that beach!
haha thank you TA!! And great suggestion for the Bananegg interchange 😆
Beach town next! 🥳
Yay! Thessia has been spared the horrific nightmare of A Pub With No Beer! There is now plenty of beer for all the pubs!
Don't know how much pre-planning goes into the episodes but this was pure joy to watch, to listen to and to have fun in the chat! ❤
What's not to love? The asset placement, the fake fields, the fewsing, the IMT work, the cobble, the barrels, the FLTs and the booze 😁 all the details coming together in a truly amazing build ❤❤❤

Thank you so much Star! Really appreciate your support, glad to hear you are enjoying Thessia too

I just love sitting back and enjoying these satisfying timelapses of the city comming to life. Love this series !
Considering the local fish type on this build, a basket of really crispy fried anchovies could hit the spot with a cold beer.
If a farm nearby were growing potatoes, the town would be calling out for a chippy. I wonder if there's an asset for that. Maybe a sign for the two story white pub on the corner to make that a chip shop?
There's a chippy somewhere in the UK assets.
Fantastic build.... Wouldn't Bob get rid of the donut sign? and have the sign on the roof?
i'm just imagining grabbing some beer-battered fish n chips at a nearby lunch spot where all the ingredients are made locally in Valkyrie. That would be sooo yummy. All we need now is a potato farm and we're well on the way
I think this is going to be one hell of series. Its already so perfect!
I found your Channel recently and I'm loving it. Also, amazing timing. Just finished an exam an now I can relax with the Video
Welcome! Thanks for checking out the videos :)

As an Aussie I absolutely love this series so far, always wanted a series around an Aus inspired city
👍🏽thank you for using some of the mods i obviously have not given justice. Love both ur vanilla and moded builds. 🤙🏽
Gorgeous build, Mr Egg. I especially love the "gift shop" fusing. I need to look into these cargo container warehouses now! I think the cobble roads look OK, but the arrow markings seem out of place. Otherwise looks good to me
We can network skin the arrows away 😌 Cheers Ant!
I really enjoyed the detailing time lapse and a big YES too the cobble stone road. I really loved the little wine bar added to the side of the brewery. The whole vibe of Thessia really hits the rural feel. Very enjoyable, thank you for sharing your imagination!!
You could remove the donut on the van and make them green so they be delivering some bitter and not donuts :) Great video, great detailing as always
This is definitely one of my favorite industrial builds from Egg. The amount of clever mod-use and detail is really amazing to me.
i really like the design of the brewery. its a very "Less is More" feel and it really works well by mushing multiple buildings together. Its making me re-think how i view industrial spaces
Unfortunately I'm gonna have to miss this but looking forward to watching later.
You were missed, Clare!!
Hope you had a good day Clare!

Good call!
Really enjoying watching Thessia grow.
I looked at some exterior photos of some breweries which to be honest I've never thought about before. They really do look like big industrial complexies. Who woulda thunk it.. Thanks OE!!
After enjoying the live chat, I always like to watch the episode again to pick up on the details of the build and the little gems from Egg like this @10:07
Lovely episode, I enjoyed watching it sooo much.
I can even hear all the truck going over the cobblestone roads 🔊
Thats a very cool build. It does give some vibes of the Budweiser brewery in St Louis on a smaller scale.
What an amazing build 😍. This must be one of your videos with the most amount of detailing inspirations to take away. PS. Love the rural field spice
That brewery warehouse yard seems like a wonderful place for a coven of some sort.. kangaroos perhaps, since the series is Australia-inspired?
You're such an awesome designer and love your video vibe. Super spice blend of relaxing, inspiring, and entertaining.
Sad you couldn't fit the V-logo design in IMT on the custom roundabout.
10:09 that is the best sentence ever spoken by someone playing CS😂🍻
The cobblestone road is really cool!
The cobblestone was a stroke of genius and the cherry on top for sure.
I did not know you could use IMT to make brick/cobblestone streets. Absolute game changer wow!
I love all the ways you created this. Shows in the final walk around! You are a very creative person! Cobble is perfect with it. Looks great!
Love the cobblestone! Fits perfectly!
This a masterful combination of the industries to reach a design/visual goal. It is just wonderful!
The kegs/barrels were really needed!
But the question: can you get beer and fish and chips here? 🤣
Not sure I'm catching up. But getting there :)
This is a really nice job. The whole area looked fantastic and exactly right on the edge of town.
Thanks so much bro ❤ hope things get easier for you soon 🙏
This is amazing! You get better and better at building every episode it seems. Absolutely gorgeous build.
Cheers Nathan! Appreciate the kind words :)
Thessia's intro music is already hitting that soft spot that Ilos hit ❤
I can't wait to see what's cooking! (edit: I love the brewery area, very modern)
Don't know if you'd want to but talking through the intro is absolutely lovely and I wouldn't mind if you talked through the whole time-lapse intro
A lot of breweries have restaurants, could be a cool thing to add, also with the fish market there the restaurant could be getting fresh fish to serve as well
LOVE everything you have done today Egg, GG.
Love the cobble! This game needs more decorative road options
I can’t wait to see you implement the new content especially from the new DLC in May
Great build! I was excited to see a brewery and it came out looking fantastic!
So creative, Egg! So so good. But where was the Aussie accent spice today? Yes please! 😂
I know that for Cities Skylines is not a problem but can you try to make the pier lower so that you don't need a 20 meters ladder just to reach the boats? You only need to lower everything down just a smidge more... You'd be the first of my followed creators to actually care for this detail of realism ❤
Thank you and eggy hugs,
Ribbon
Great this! You should do a little tap room with outside tables near the gift shoppy thing
Every time, "surfer's town" sounds like service or surface town to me. Valkyrie has been great!
Wait what. Did you setup some slow moving camera moves and then do stuff while the camera was moving. 🤯 That's some real dedication.
As a brick lover this episode brought me so much joy! Once again Egg you found a way to create something absolutely unique. I love the end result!
That cobbled street is just a chef's kiss 🤌 Didn't know IMT allowed for this!
Looking forward to the next one!
Maybe you can add vineyards between the industrial area and the residential houses?
as someone who has actually worked in an industrial area in the Australian outback, whoever left those forklifts out in the sun is going to get a serious case of red arse when either he sits on the boiling hot leather seat or when he encounters the guy who was unlucky enough to sit there first.
Wooden barrels for beer seems extremely old-fashioned, especially for a big mainstream brand like Valkyrie Bitter… but Australia makes wine and whiskey too, so a cooperage set up to serve the brewery could easily still be making wooden barrels.
Pretty much every farm in Western Australia has a small dam with a windmill, so I reckon you should add one to that farming area you made
Totally enjoyed it!
Thanks for hanging out mate
i guess node limit doesnt matter this series? :D this amount of nodes you use. Anyway great build :)
Thessia is becoming so good ❤ your decal detailing blew my mind 🤩
I wish some creators would look at south aust. The west end brewery would been a perfect reference for this.. it's also because we are stuck in the 1800s lol
Cobblestone looks good but it's going to shake up a lot of the Brew bouncing around in the truck lol
Tbf You’ve got the Verdant Seafood Bar in Penryn, which is literally fish meeting beer!
Love the detailing around the industry
This probably won't function great, but maybe consider adding a walking tour through the facility just to hit the vibes you mentioned at the end. A little tourism wouldn't hurt.
This is truly beautiful egg, can't wait for more!
There is going to be some very fishy tasting beer coming out of that brewery.
Lovely job. Love you work . Is it me or the music sounds like 2012 London Olympic ceremony
Im thoroughly enjoying this- everything is looking quite good and Australian... But I cant get past the huge 3 lane roundabouts.... Thats not something you see anywhere in these smaller towns... Its rare even in cities and or big towns lol... Our roundabouts are all so small here haha.
The recessed garbage facility is amazing!
Absolutely stunning work as always Egg!
How can you tell Egg is English? The sentence "lets talk about getting pissed" 😂😂😂🎉🎉
VB Export is a tad too lagery for my tastes but their new craft beer Valhalla goes down well if you can find it.
Egg must be forklift certified.
Nice Thessia flag, Terry!
Hello! I was wondering how do you have your game looking like that, and if you could make a video about it! I think it would be awesome! Thank you and keep up the good work
38:54 parking spots go underneath the lights 🤙
The more I watch the development of Thessia, the more I worry about just how many disabled people must live there based purely off the parking 🙂🤣
professor X wants his beer!! haha
Good evening OE from Allenstown, NH. USA.
At this point I don’t ever focus at work until I’ve got my fix for city planner from Egg 🥚
Should call it fishhead brewery
Very nice
why wasn't I notified for this :((
Do you know that you've misspelled Valkyrie? Is there a reason?
(I didn't watch all the way through, whoops)
10:11 🍻 🎉
What are the name of the rocks that you are using on the shoreline?
9:52 While I know you're referencing that word as used in some fictional context, (I forget what though lol) and that spelling wasn't right in any way - there's not one way to spell it. It's all over the place. If you were English you might spell it "walkirie" from middle English, taken from Old English "wælcyrġe". A number of places seem to put a J in there like "valkyrja".
Wouldn't 'BOB' be able to remove unwanted decals on buildings?
