This yoke has annoyed me six ways from Sunday. Made it a little better doing the rubber band mod for it which made the pitch less jumpy. But still sticks slightly at some point, especially when trying to pitch up while turning. Tried lubing it, don't work. I'd wait to spend and extra $100 for the Honeycomb for anyone who see's this.
I’ve been using this system for 4 years and am quite happy with it, especially for the price. I periodically lube the metal shaft with a bit of WD40 and it helps smooth out the stickiness, but it is still there. I’ve never owned another yoke so have nothing to compare it to, but I would recommend it to new simmers.
You brought up a very good point about the yoke. I'm a certificated pilot and found the sim to be difficult to fly. Couldn't figure out what was happening. The cheap CH products yoke I was using doesn't move 180deg from center. Slight movements were over controlling the sim plane. Had the ch products since the early days MSFS (1990's versions). Upgrading everything with x-plane 12 to practice when I can't fly for real.
Hi, thanks - it's nice to have this verification from a real-world pilot! Upgrading will be great for you, enjoy - it's a great time to be into flight simulation. Lot's going on, and some great products. Please like the video if you haven't, it really helps. Happy flights!

Thanks for sharing your experience, hopefully we can prevent a few people from spending the money on the Logitech. Have a cool day!

Thanks for your input! It is possible that my experience using higher-end racing sim controllers has spoiled me a bit. Glad you are enjoying it!
