I can't believe it. No body bent down. No pressure in the line when running for take off. Very sorry with this take off, you don't pass the exam.

Hello Retezan Karol, thanks for your comment. This is a newschooltechnique for taking off. It is not neccessary to bend your body forward. You can reach a much higher runnig speed by keeping your body upright and lean your WHOLE body forward. Not only the upper body. (Look at the bodyposition of f.E. Usain Bolt) An other positive effect is that you can still stear active with the braketoggles and release them to the fullest. If your upperbody is bent down your armes have to go to the back. (Like people running in Mangacomics) But then your shoulder is locked. So you have to bend your body more down to release the brakes. This brings a big advantage in strong wind and flat takeoffs. We will publish a video about the perfect acceleration soon. Thank you. Bending down is not good IMHO. Yes, I know, all those manuals say "torpedo" (or "Adler" in German) but I think just like any other activity, paragliding has its share of fake legends. This is one of them (another is pushing pod harnesses with incorrect aerodynamic design on people - long story, another is taking the bizarre and downright dangerous wraps on brake lines - long story squared). Anyway, "torpedo" is fine for _some_ people but it really depends on the body geometry. For most people this is actually a bad posture because it forces one to look down at one's shoes precisely at one of the most critical moments of the flight where pilot's attention should not be diverted by... shoelaces. Most people simply find it very easy to run forward and push hard on the A risers with the head straight which provides a much safer view (on average; as I said, people have different body geometries).
