- Here's a rundown of my Ford Focus dash racing simulator. In the video I mention how it cost about $200 to make the setup. That price doesn't include the steering wheel or Xbox One, but everything else is included in that price. I'm sure I'll make more changes and updates in the future as well. Stay tuned.

Do airbags deploy?
i hope nope XD
LMAO
Of course! lmfao
This is now my new hobby.
Would love to do something like this with my gaming rig. Love it !
So cool! But I think you should align the TV center to the driver
he did that because he play it on hood cam
i recently bought the seat out of a audi a6 SLine and also dash and centerconsole>got the heated seat running and also gonna adapt my windsim on the vents>love the idee
Want this in my garage have a sim racing next to my real cars would be amazing a new hobby added to my list
I was so excited when I listened to 200 bucks when the word donation came along.
That looks great nice job. Now if you want the gauges to work you better switch to a pc then you can get them to work.
It hasn't been a huge priority to do that since that's a large investment just to get gauges to work. Plus I already have over 40 racing games for the Xbox One
Not entirely, some games EG Forza, do work with guages, by outputting a data stream. All the guy would need is a small PC (even a pi probably could do it) - however it's getting the data into the cluster. you would have to mimic the black oak PCM to send the signals into that ford cluster. (I know as I own one still). uses PWM signals so not too bad actually.
@@BiohazardX9 Is there a way to control the gauges directly? I feel like commanding the stepper motors would be easier no?
I love the setup very much
Very awesome, i had an idea to connect E36 Ganges instead because you can actually get them to show in game speed and RPM.
Is it only e36 ones that work ?
Can you do that with console?
@@Caseybmx123 no, also others like ford Galaxy and golf 3 also work ,from what i found on the web
@@callumlrw6729 unfortunately no
@@oskarpolanski3152 what else
This.. THIS LOOKS AWESOME
Two-seater…another level🙏👍🙂
Awesome sim love the svt dash
looks slick, bro!
this looks great! i wanted to do this using 3rd gen rx7 dash as it has a great look or the driver focused dash from mk3 supra but these days there pricey.
I will make something like this. I have an old rally seat, a buddy of mine has a shop so i can get a dash for cheap and the rest is stuff that i have at home already
This is dope, where is the DIY?
Where did u get the table from because I got some Honda Civic em1 seats and a g920 all I need is the dash center console and the table
I had the table for years and don't remember where I got it. It happens to be the right height for my dash but you might want to measure the height of your dash to the floorboard and use that as a basis to find the correct height table you need for your setup.
We should hang out bro. You got skills and I’m committed to building one! Please update us.
Where do you get one of those tables? Because i wanna build My own sim dashboard
I had it for years and don’t know where I got it. I think if someone is going to make a setup like this, it is going to be different if they use a different vehicle’s dash.
SonicSVTFocus but i wanna make my own 2003 ford focus dash sim
Measure from the floorboard to the top of the dash in a Focus then find a table that is that tall and as wide as the dash and go from there
SonicSVTFocus do i really have to measure the interior of a real focus? Beacause i don't own one
Gotta wing it then
great work
It`s fun!!!! 😃
im in this process with my old focus that i crashed. i have the seat and everything out of it just fabing it u
This is awesome!
Does the handbrake work?
Help me i want and am looking for what you have or atlest something simular
I built it. You would need to do similar
When will you upload something again?
I’m in the process of moving right now but once I’m fully moved and set up, I will put up a new video.
I did post a couple of pictures of the simulator stand disassembled on my Facebook page Sonic SVT Focus
SonicSVTFocus ok
Hey will a th8a shifter work with a Ferrari 458 spider racing wheel? Ik the t3pa pedals work with it but thanks
I'm not sure. I've never used that wheel
@@SonicSVTFocus ok I'll have to try it out some ppl say that won't work but idk lol did u get my Instagram messages?
The product page for the TH8A lists the 458 Italia as a compatible wheel/pedals set on PC/XBox360
How is it going with the Ford simulator now?
I've posted so much on TikTok that I forgot to update here. I need to do a new video here too.
@@SonicSVTFocus ok!
Does all the electrics work?
al u did is bolt a dash to a table
get some arduino boards and a layout of the clocks wiring use a 5 amp 12volt power supply for light strips and you can easily make the clocks work obviously u will need to change to pc
I'm fully aware of what I did. I'm good with using what I have and not using a PC.
Im jealous.
Please help! How to wire the cluster???
My cluster is not wired up. You would need to wire it up using an Arduino and have that interface with an app of program that reads the data output by the game. Many PC games out out the data. Most console games don't.
@@SonicSVTFocus i know i need an arduino just how to connect it
@@kmrk59 since mine are not connected, I can't help you there.
@@kmrk59 simhub on pc
i have one using a honda civic dash but i cant install it because i cant move in my room. the rig takes up all the space and i cant even get to the pedals let alone getting behind it to mount a dash
Were can I get a dash?
Vincent Weaver your local parts yard
maybe on your local yunkyard
200$ no way my seat i bought and dash was 200$ and i still need a tv
Well I do explain in the video how I got everything cheap.
@@SonicSVTFocus yeah but my tv has so much input lag i have tp get a new one
@@banan33033 I have upgraded my TV since this video was posted.
You do realize there's a difference between "inexpensive" and "how much it cost me", right? Let's be clear that this is *not* anywhere near an inexpensive setup by any means lol
Yeah, and I've researched the parts I got for free or stupid cheap and people can get them from sources for a low price. For example, the dash can be bought from a local parts yard for $50. So it can be duplicated without buying everything new at crazy high prices.
you sound like bEnBaRrAgE
No
Good for you
