So glad you're back. You are such a sweet woman. The way you talk about colors and patterns and all your projects makes me smile and my heart jump, too. Thank you.
Hey Sarah, thanks for another lovely podcast. Your chirpy, playful spirit is what the world needs more of. Love your little vests and how you layer them. By the way, between you, Arne and Carlos and Finish Knitting Stories I have given Granny Squares a go and am loving it. Arne and Carlos have developed a unique way of joining their squares together for a blanket that appears to make the “join” more flexible. I haven’t got that far yet but am going to give it a “go” too. Have a happy weekend and see you Monday.
Hi Sarah: 🙌 Yes knitting is always ♥️ jumping fun! We are privileged. I Loved Bobby in your previous episode and your new Tripod is phenomenal. Thank You!
I’m a bit behind with my viewing, and going to have a wonderful day knitting, and catching up with you. Beautiful crochet blanket on your bed Sarah. Your mum is very talented too! Love your vlogs they are very heart jumping😁❤
Bonjour Sarah! It is so cute all the camisoles! Beautiful blanket from Mummy! I love to watch your video! Have a nice week-end with full of love! Louise xxx
Thank you, Sarah! With the help of Google translate, I was able to download the Nostalgia blanket in English. Your mother did a beautiful job. The word tripod in English is pronounced "try-pod". I know you were trying to get our difficult words. I wish I could speak more than one language and you do so beautifully. The crocheted tops are lovely. You do such fine work.
Hi, Sarah...I am so glad you're back but also happy you and your family had a lovely Holiday! Because you have inspired me, I am going to start a Granny Square blanket as soon as I finish the crochet sunflower pillow I made, which gave me many heart jumping moments! I'm mostly a knitter but taught myself crochet a few years ago but need to keep at it to get better...Love all your beautiful Rumours vests, so fun!
There is another way for an icord cast-on where you get simultaniously live-stitches while you do the icord. That way it is easier for me. Maybe it is the same for you too? I'm so happy that you are back! You lighten my day❤
Your excitement is exciting me! Your FOs are so cute! I am surprised that you didn’t crochet one of those tops for your other daughter. 😉. Your socks are very pretty and I believe that I will knit a pair for me this fall. Thank you for the inspiration.
Hi Sarah! Great podcast again, beautiful projects ❤. Congratulations on your tripod, a fun accessory you can have fun with providing different views of your work and home with. You speak English beautifully and very clearly. I always understand what you say and most of the time are 100% correct, great job! I am Canadian and live in the French speaking area of the country so English is not my mother of tongue either, I sympathize 😉
Hello from Quebec/Canada. You are so good and fun to watch. I very much enjoy all your podcasts (Btw , don't apologize for your nice Dutch accent. It's very lovely, and I often see similarity with french words, so I love it) Keep up the great work you do!
You're so much fun 😄 I've made one pair of socks with that idea, half the sock 2 by 2 ribbing until the heel turn. It looks nice, but I found it very uncomfortable to wear because the socks were so floppy and kept sliding off. So no more for me. But what you said about never wearing (woolly) socks in bare feet - oh, no! I never wear anything beneath them! Woolly socks are best (and warmest) on bare feet.
Hello Sarah, thank you for another lovely episode. Your crocheted window curtains are beautiful as are your garments and blankets. Wishing you a wonderful weekend full of inspiration, color and joy.
What a lovely format for your episodes Sarah. I love how you show and discuss your FOs with the smooth tripod. Beautiful pieces and always look forward to your joyful episodes. "Heart-jumping"!
Heart Jumping is my new favorite term! I think the confusion is that we are used to the expression... My heart leaps for joy. 🥰🥰 Enjoy all the beautiful new things.
There is an option on Google where you can hear the spoken word and it`s correct pronounciation. It is also helpful to know the phonetic alphabet. We had to learn it in school, when we had English lessons.
Thank you for a lovely relaxing episode, I love your humour, the bedcover that your Mother crocheted is beautiful, your tanktops are lovely, I must learn to crochet, the tripod really gives your podcast a new dimension, the leggins with feet are called tights in Ireland and pantyhose in America. Sending love from Ireland ☘☘☘
I'm not sure how you pronounce the letter 'Y' in Dutch, but if you think of it as "try pod" perhaps the pronunciation is better for you. Or tr👁 pod..tr+eye pod. Yes! You said "monogamously" correct! Well done! The blanket your mom made is stunning..so beautiful and well made!!! I just love your aestetic, Sarah..how you put yourself together. Your outfits are so cute on you. I purchased the Hinterland dress pattern last night and am looking forward to having it in my wardrobe. I just need to find the perfect fabric for it now! Have a wonderful heart jumping weekend, Sarah, and I look forward to your next episode on Monday, with your new tripod setup! 😊❤
I love those tops on you. My favorite is the gray one. One of my sons is living with me and he was watching (for awhile) and he called the striped one Neopolitan (a chocolate/vanilla/strawberry striped ice cream we have in the US) at the same time you called it an ice cream top. I love Birkenstocks too - mostly due to foot problems. I have one pair like the first pair you were wearing except without the ankle straps. I need to get a pair of the other style in that brown color next. I have a pair of suede ones with the 2 straps but since the suede is so soft, they aren't easy to slip into because the material falls down. But if I got the ones like you have I'd be more likely to wear the over 100 pair of hand knits socks I've made that just sit in a box. I live in California where some people wear shorts and sandals year round - except for this winter, which was the coldest it's been in forever!
I live on the Canadian Prairies and english is really my only language, although because of Quebec and I understand some French. I find there is some crossover from French to Dutch. Your framboise is french for raspberry. As an english speaker I do find the differences across the english language interesting. UK english has many differences compared to North American english and there are some differences in the language between Canada and the USA. FYI in Canada we say tripod with the "i" sounding like "eye" although we all knew what you were talking about. Thanks for your podcast and a peek into life in your country. 🇨🇦
Nice to have you back on UA-cam. I enjoy watching your podcast while I knit or sew and keep my mind away from all the forest fires around. We need some Netherland weather here.
Great episode Sarah! Exciting to you get excited about your new recording footage skills. Another American English word for your panties might be tights or stockings or perhaps PANTYhose, nylons, hosiery, leggings… so many choices😂 Love the tops and socks
You speak very good English. I'm in the UK and I'm ashamed to say that I can only speak English. Love all your pieces 😍 I'm looking forward to buying the modern granny stitch book when it's released . Thank you for a very enjoyable pod cast😊
Hi Sarah, another delightful episode. I look forward to them so much. Your English is absolutely fluent now. Well done. To pronounce Tri-pod (tri means three, as in three legs on the tripod) it is like try pod and the pod rhymes with shod or cod. Leggings with feet are tights. And you nailed it for monogomously 👏👏👏
It is good to have you back Sarah, you are a heart jumping moment in my morning today. Your enthusiasm and smile are contagious. Dankuvel. (I don’t know how to write that 😂, thank you)
I start with the sleeves IF it is a flat sweater...I prefer that style! (panties = tights? OR leggings?) Glad you had a good break with the family! I love the NEW CAMERA angles!
No, Tripod isn't pronounced the way your husband said, it is like you wanted to say it. Tri- pod. sounded like, Try pod. That's the way we say it here in Australia any way. Thanks for your meaning of " heart " jumping, I understand now. I did think you said Hard not Heart, so it was confusing. In my world, I use many words or phrases that mean the same thing depending on the subject. So excited for your "monogamously". so cool, your English is good, I love to see how you learn as you go.
Love that you got a new toy for the podcast. It's cool to see your house. Your bed is so low. Is that typical for the Netherlands? I practically have to jump up to get in mine. The bed covering is so beautiful.
Such great finishes. I usually have a audio book on while in my craft room. Evenings I’m watching film with hubby, podcast on iPad and knitting or crochet 😂 The camera stand is a tripod - try pod The leggings with feet are tights in English. Pants are underwear (knickers) 😁
In English Tripod is pronounced “try pod” …. Greetings & love from a Sarah in Scotland 🏴🥃🥃🙋🏼♀️ leggings with feet are called “tights” in the UK. Finer tights were also known as “pantyhose” which sounds like a shared origin doesn’t it.
Sarah, I don’t think you could be any cuter! I love your happy projects and your Dutchy English….especially the “panties”! We call them tights or leggings. Thank you for providing heart jumping moments!
Oh ist sounds so cute your dutchy english especially when your "hart maakt een sprongetje" (is that correct?) I enjoy it very much each time. Thanks for sharing your time and your lovely crochet and knitted "handwerkele" (?)

Lovely crocheted tops. They look so nice displayed together. I wish you a lovely weekend. See you on Monday!
Sarah, you are adorable. You make me smile and sometimes laugh. Heart jumping: the things that bring you the most joy and happiness.

I too love your term heart jumping. Your English is great. We understand all of it.
I love your podcasts. They are gentle and beautiful and calm. I love the vest you are wearing! It’s beautiful ❤️

I'm so happy that you are back! You lighten my day❤
I love, love, love the beautiful bedspread on your bed. I have also noticed a solid pillow in your living that is similar and have admired it too!
Monogamous was perfect. Yay you! And ummmmmm , I see blue 😂😂😂. How wonderful to have you back.
You are so sweet. I’m glad you enjoyed your camping holiday. I love watching your episodes 🥰 keep up the good work ❤️

😊
I’m a new viewer and I just love your energy. You’re so creative ❤
Love your granny stitch tops / tanks ❤
Nice to have you back on UA-cam. I enjoy watching your podcast while I knit or sew and keep my mind away from all the forest fires around. We need some Netherland weather here.
In Afrikaans we say ‘hartsverblydend’ for your ‘heart jumping moment’.
I also prefer socks toe up because then you can fit as you knit up!
Lovely to see you back Sarah. I'm glad you enjoyed your family time but I missed you! :)
Oh Sarah, it's so good to have you back. And you look so adorable in that beautiful hair tie that you sewed. ♥♥♥
That is a very nice tri pod for your phone! Your tank tops/vests are so pretty, Sarah! So happy you’re back!!! 🌷
My ❤ jumping moment is listening to an audiobook while knitting or crocheting. I’m so happy you are back!
