Sorry about the echo! I'll have this ironed out by the next video somehow. For some reason this has been happening lately, and it's not present until after uploading.
Bro I live near whistler shit still scares me shitless so it’s good you made a goal for it but for me I strive for perfection and it’s killing me oh by the way should I start a UA-cam channel my first vids will be about the challenge
Seth if your stuck for a innertube while out and about dont fear stuff the tyre with grass it will get you home but make sure there is plenty in,long grass not like from garden.
You have got to be one of the best mountain bike focus product reviewers. You give such a honest and genuine touch to the review without sounding scripted. You have a unique approach to the topics you present and truly care about removing the mental barriers to riding. Keep up the good work!
This type of review is great! You simply state your no-nonsense opinion (which I respect more than my own since you have way more experience mountainbiking than I do) and you disclose any conflict of interest you might have. It's hard to find trustworthy reviews these days but you nailed it.
Seth, I’m an old school BMX’er from the 80’s that just got into mountain biking. Your videos are awesome and I’ve learned so much! I watch your videos over and over. My 13 year old son is now going out with me on his MTB.
Hey Seth I live in NC but I watched you when you lived in Florida I think it's so cool you live only 10 minutes from me anyway your easily my favorite UA-cam . Keep up the amazing work.👍
Couldn't agree more with the review on the shoes. My girlfriend brought me a pair for my birthday to replace some old skate shoes, and what a difference it made! My feet feel like they're glued to the pedals. And you're spot on with the build quality and comfort. One of the only pairs of shoes I've not had to wear in. Love your video's Seth, keep em' coming :)
Apparently some ants like to nest on or near electronics, really weird... Must be a pulse being sent out by the Electronics that we can't hear but they can.
i think an impregnated female elate found a nice dark home in the drone and laid its eggs there. its hard to tell how old the colony is without knowing the species but it looks like thats what happened. OR the drone was placed by a very active nest for a few hours and the ants decided to just move on in, check out some of ANtsCanada's videos on how they do this
Seth, I really appreciate that you declared and qualified your potential bias with the Saris rack . I wish more channels and reviewers were this open and honest about their relationships to sponsors and preferences.
I am a huge fan and i subscribed to you with no problem of thinking if you were actually going to teach me more about mtbing or if it was necessary but when i saw on of your videos i immediately subscribed and told many of my mtb friends to subscribe to you too. Keep up the awesome work!
I just returned to MTBing after a 10 year break. I love your channel, so much valuable information. If there was information like this available in the 90’s I would had been a much better rider. Thanks again
I did not read all your comments but instead of a tail gate cover, I use a rubber insulation mat and buggy cords. Works perfectly fine for a lot less cost. Keep up the great work for your channel and thank you for sharing.
A moving blanket ($5 at Harbor Freight) makes a great tailgate cover. You can use tie downs (also cheap) if you’re going far on the highway. I’ve hauled four bikes this way and had room for more. Not as cool looking but does the same thing for a lot less money.
After carefully studying your videos I have come to the conclusion that if I use the same gear and haircut as you, I can attain the same mountain biking skills as you.
Seth, I ride flats and I'm wondering if I should try clips but it's a lot of money to shell out if I don't like them. Can you do a video on your thoughts about the subject. Thanks p.s. keep up the good work 👍
lopon12 If you do a lot of climbing and not a whole lot of dirt gimping then I would get clips. If you like to do jumps and fall a lot then I would say that you should keep your flats
lopon12 I am going the other way. Been with clipless for 15 yrs but lately many falls with last one causing 2 broken ribs cause I could not release quick enough. At 64, I need to try flats for my health AND marriage. Now I have to find where my wife hid my bike.
11:23 made my skin crawl and as a DJI owner I about flipped out when they started crawling out! Good video. Keep these coming sprinkled along your other content.
Loving this vlog format! Keep it up Seth!!!! Learned alot from your channels! Watching you from the Philippines! I wish you can go here after this pandemic !
The 510 I believe do make a difference. The harder sole doesn't kill my arch in my foot like a pair of vans do. I still do enjoy my Vans hi tops for a quick ride. The crank Bros pump is very tempting. Thanks for the videos you put out Seth. Very informative.
I don't own any mountain bike but I have went mountain biking with others bike. I loved it so much. I long for when I get a bike. And watching your videos make me fill like I am there. thanks for the good vids. Keep it up.
Seth's Bike Hacks yeah I can attest to this. When I was playing my electric guitar hundreds of ants suddenly started storming out from where the pick-ups are. Anyway, very nice and informative video, as usual.
It probably hits a "food is here" signal of some sort. Electromagnetic interference, high-pitched sounds that are inaudible to humans, or specific smells that mimic pheromones. Any of those things could account for the issue.
Truck pad: you can access the tailgate latch if you slide the pad forward a little bit more - the side that's in the bed should be lower. The center pad will be bent over the ridge of your tailgate. The Velcro straps will hold your bike by the down tube, not the fork. This is how I've seen it demonstrated on other reviews and it works well for me. Thanks for the great videos.
Thanks Seth! That ego blower is awesome and could be considered a mountain bike product...uses include variable speed to not blow stuff off of your work spaces and post bike wash to help get water out of small places. Also moves big piles of leaves
I've been wearing the exact same FiveTen Freeriders for about a year now(even the same color!), and I've had great results as well. Absolutely recommend FiveTens!
I have the same set up for a bike rack in the garage. My hack was taking a foam pool noodle, cutting it in half and using command strips so the tires rest on the noodle, not the wall. A strip of wood would work just as well.
I recently bought a pair of 5.10's because I cut my foot through my canvas Vans. I haven't ridden on them enough to know for sure if they're stickier than the vans, but from a short street ride they do seem a bit stickier. I more bought them for the extra foot protection and sole stiffness. I wouldn't mind having that Osprey fanny pack, the price is steep, but I think it's competitive with similar quality items (like Camelback). I think I'll hang onto my old Camelback Mule for now though (20 years and still holding up well).
I have the same exact race face tail gate cover. It’s great!! I’m stoked to see you Store it under the back seat!! What a great idea lol I’m gonna put mine there too
Hey Seth, love the videos. As a new rider who is learning more about bikes every day (alot because of your videos). I'm not sure if you've made a video on it but I think it'd be super helpful if you gave a list of quality tools ( more on the low price end) and other products that would be useful to beginners. Keep up with the great videos!
Love this video like I loved the first one! I am a freak for good product reviews and I completely trust what you tell us and most likely would not buy something you dont like
I love these videos but if you want to turn your money making head on, I'd split this video up to individual videos after you've uploaded the completion. Think how many people want to know about the mavic but wouldn't see it. Doubt your subscribers would get annoyed with 10 repeat video uploads a week after.
Steezy G I don't agree. I firmly believe that Seth's channel has the most subscribers because he's not permanently trying to get more subscribers. He's not reminding us to like, or subscribe. He doesn't tells us about his patreon site on EVERY video like other UA-camrs. Seth simply tries to make good entertaining videos and this video with 10 reviews is more entertaining than 10 videos with one review each.
ImpendingDisaster Guy fair enough. I just think it's hard to make money on UA-cam. In the log run it'll probably pay off for him to make them all in one.
Interesting use of the Raceface truck pad. I rotate the pad so that the velcro straps sit under the highest part of the downtube. Then the straps go around the downtube, not the fork stachions. I like the straps because on my old Dakine pad the bikes would tip onto each other and cause scratches.
The vans mte or all weathers or whatever they’re called are the BEST mtb shoes for flats. I love them. Padding, great for hiking, and grip the pedals way better than my 5-10s
Sorry about the echo! I'll have this ironed out by the next video somehow. For some reason this has been happening lately, and it's not present until after uploading.
Don’t worry I had volume at my normal and didnt notice until you pointed it at
Bro I live near whistler shit still scares me shitless so it’s good you made a goal for it but for me I strive for perfection and it’s killing me oh by the way should I start a UA-cam channel my first vids will be about the challenge

Well they did, until they died
I love how you basically called yourself thiccc
thicc af buiii
Lmao! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I just noticed this
Seth got cake
You spelled that wrong more like thicccc
I don't even mountain bike only ride fixed but this is still my all time favorite UA-cam channel.
the five-ten are the most comfortable shoes i have ever tried (and they grip better than Vans)
I know..and not just a little better..its night and day
I got some Shimano gr5s and I love them so far, when they die I was going to try fiveten just because I've seen them recommended everywhere
You have got to be one of the best mountain bike focus product reviewers. You give such a honest and genuine touch to the review without sounding scripted. You have a unique approach to the topics you present and truly care about removing the mental barriers to riding. Keep up the good work!
is anybody just gonna ignore the fact that seth commited a genocide on those ants
Seth is clearly not a practitioner of Jainism.
They just found a home
I’d rather my mavic antless
This type of review is great! You simply state your no-nonsense opinion (which I respect more than my own since you have way more experience mountainbiking than I do) and you disclose any conflict of interest you might have. It's hard to find trustworthy reviews these days but you nailed it.
Is anyone gonna bring up the fact that he basically called himself thick...

Seth I'm confused on how ants could possibly get in your dji mavic pro
Justin Green they probably walked in
Apparently some ants like to nest on or near electronics, really weird... Must be a pulse being sent out by the Electronics that we can't hear but they can.
Do you have kids
Justin Green same 200th like
i think an impregnated female elate found a nice dark home in the drone and laid its eggs there. its hard to tell how old the colony is without knowing the species but it looks like thats what happened. Will you ever get a chance to ride a titanium bike?
Me? No
Seth? Yes
@@yuhves2596 lol so true
I got my first bike more than a week ago and i've been watching your videos non-stop. You the man. I look forward into my new hobbie. Good shit bud.
Dude you subs are growing very quickly I've been here since 60k keep doing what your doing 😀
I did not read all your comments but instead of a tail gate cover, I use a rubber insulation mat and buggy cords. Works perfectly fine for a lot less cost. Keep up the great work for your channel and thank you for sharing.

Riding bikes, trucks, playing with drones.. Congrats Seth, you are living the life my friend.
After carefully studying your videos I have come to the conclusion that if I use the same gear and haircut as you, I can attain the same mountain biking skills as you.
Gabe Riva it works. I have the same haircut, and can now ride off loading docks and am sponsored by diamondback. Try it.
Great sense of humor. Seth could pretty much make a video about anything, and as long as he edits and narrates it, I'd watch.
Seth, I ride flats and I'm wondering if I should try clips but it's a lot of money to shell out if I don't like them. Can you do a video on your thoughts about the subject. Thanks
p.s. keep up the good work 👍
lopon12 If you do a lot of climbing and not a whole lot of dirt gimping then I would get clips. If you like to do jumps and fall a lot then I would say that you should keep your flats
lopon12 I would advise keeping your flats and buying some 510's
lopon12 I am going the other way. Been with clipless for 15 yrs but lately many falls with last one causing 2 broken ribs cause I could not release quick enough. At 64, I need to try flats for my health AND marriage. Now I have to find where my wife hid my bike.
I too got rid of my clips at the age of 57 for the same reason, I do not miss them a bit, OK maybe on a long climb, take care
11:23 made my skin crawl and as a DJI owner I about flipped out when they started crawling out! Good video. Keep these coming sprinkled along your other content.
I still love your channel Seth since you were the first person I subscribed to 👍
Loving this vlog format! Keep it up Seth!!!! Learned alot from your channels! Watching you from the Philippines! I wish you can go here after this pandemic !
Congrats on 400k 🔥🔥
Ive been watching for 3 years now and I am so happy for you Seth! It's so nice to see how far you've gotten!
400k subscribers!!! Congrats Seth!!! Keep it up!!!
+Billy Vanilla thanks!
Who all thought that was BKXC doing a 360 at 1:50? Lol Also love that Seth is indirectly supporting other channels, love this community.
Where do you keep your phone on rides ??

I love how u r strait forward and u dont make it for entertainment u make it for information
"I found these to be absolutely terrifying to ride with..". LOL

Keep it up.
Gratz seth you have 400k subs!!! You are My inspiration and you are the best!!!
You Sir deserve my comment on that 'buggy' piece on the drone and also for the ingenuity on how to solve it!
How is it even possible to get ants in a drone?
+Steven Daniels I researched it and apparently some ants like nesting in electronics. I'm as surprised as you are.
Seth's Bike Hacks yeah I can attest to this. When I was playing my electric guitar hundreds of ants suddenly started storming out from where the pick-ups are. Anyway, very nice and informative video, as usual.
Seth's Bike Hacks well that makes sense why there are ants crawling out of my headphone jack *Facepalm*
I had hundreds of ants infest my Canon SX50. It still works but there are dead ones inside that have been ground up by the mechanics of the zoom.
It probably hits a "food is here" signal of some sort. Electromagnetic interference, high-pitched sounds that are inaudible to humans, or specific smells that mimic pheromones. Any of those things could account for the issue.
Seth - You are by far my favorite bike channel.
Like this if Seth should do a Q&A with his wife
I would like that video so much
no mind your business
BeastMaster he’s mentioned his wife many times and she was also in a video
Jacob Shepherd what video?
Daveed Nation you can catch glimpses of her in the video where he tries to get drama to be a trail dog
400k subs!!!!!!! Congratulations
That small pump from Crankbrothers is genius! I will get one for myself, thats for sure!
Please review g form, keep up the great work love your videos
Seth, thanks for the effort you go through to publish your Vlog. I enjoy your style, mannerisms, and honest perspective.
seth is love, seth is life
Well Seth, I just placed an order for a Smith Rover thanks to your video. Excited to try it out!
Thank god that I live In Canada where it isn't warm enough to get a fucking ant nest in a drone
Kern Jones lol how did he even do that!?!
-here in Canada we get mice when it gets cold ;-;-
But you can get a grizzly nest in a drone
How tf does that happen
Gaye Biggiecheese it's a joke because he said he lives in Canada so that guy said he can get a bear nest in his drone😂
Thanks Seth! That ego blower is awesome and could be considered a mountain bike product...uses include variable speed to not blow stuff off of your work spaces and post bike wash to help get water out of small places. Also moves big piles of leaves
Awesome video. Left a like
I bought the larger of the two multi tools after your last review. It is as good as you say. Worth every penny
When you stay up until 12:36 for a Seth video
Love your videos! As a newb these are really informative but your style and commentary is very fun to watch.
Seth has an unhealthy relationship with alcohol 😂
Ide smash with alcohol
TrailRiderMTB More beer, more better!
Hey, you watch seth, I watch you, *the circle of views continues*
Do you know who bobo is?
Beer is good for post ride muscle recovery. :D
I've been wearing the exact same FiveTen Freeriders for about a year now(even the same color!), and I've had great results as well. Absolutely recommend FiveTens!

11:35 ant hacks?
I really love your vids. I watch your channel more than GMBN because of your personal touch and ideas
most of these comments are “is everyone gonna ignore the fact that seth ____”
love the reviews. honest no smoke up my butt amway-esc sales. will definitely look back at these for my next gear purchase.
I don't see a point in those handle bars grips.
You can easily make your own using silicone and corn starch. Called proto putty
I have the same set up for a bike rack in the garage.
My hack was taking a foam pool noodle, cutting it in half and using command strips so the tires rest on the noodle, not the wall.
A strip of wood would work just as well.
Not first but early
Can I get a like for being honest?
Also, Nice video seth, I really like these types of videos!
Gendo no soup for you I mean like for you
*on time
Loving these short and to the point reviews! Thanks Seth!
Why does he dry the rack in the rain?
Cool Review - like your style, Seth 👍🏼
Seth ride beech mtn. It's way better than bailey and beech actually groom their trails unlike baileys

Seth is thicc confirmed 😫
I really like this style of reviews, I'd love to see more videos like this from you!
Can u upload more often please 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😪

I love my Freeriders! They're great, and would definitely recommend them.
WTF Seth has a Ridgeline?! I'm so sad :(
Sad because you're jealous or because its a Honda? 😂
IceCreamTrucker why what would like to see him drive?
I know, right? It is the truck that almost was.
Smart people like Seth drive Honda's.
Nah, Toyota is the way to go for pickups
Congratulations on 400,000 subscribers
More 😂
Hey Seth, love the videos. As a new rider who is learning more about bikes every day (alot because of your videos). I'm not sure if you've made a video on it but I think it'd be super helpful if you gave a list of quality tools ( more on the low price end) and other products that would be useful to beginners. Keep up with the great videos!
Kids in Africa could've eaten those ants
OMG the technique to eradicate the ants is awesome! Great video as usual Seth!
Who else rides a mountain bike.
Love this video like I loved the first one! I am a freak for good product reviews and I completely trust what you tell us and most likely would not buy something you dont like

Salvador Frieri I absolutely second this. One of the things I like about Seth is his sincerity.
ImpendingDisaster Guy fair enough. I just think it's hard to make money on UA-cam. In the log run it'll probably pay off for him to make them all in one.
Not everything is money here
Interesting use of the Raceface truck pad. I rotate the pad so that the velcro straps sit under the highest part of the downtube. Then the straps go around the downtube, not the fork stachions. I like the straps because on my old Dakine pad the bikes would tip onto each other and cause scratches.
Hey I know somebody else already said this but you hit 400 thousand subs! Gongragulations and keep up the awesome videos!
+MTB The World thanks dude!
The vans mte or all weathers or whatever they’re called are the BEST mtb shoes for flats. I love them. Padding, great for hiking, and grip the pedals way better than my 5-10s
