    This is great for a soundbar MALFUNCTION. But with few exceptions I see a response for no sound, not ,no power

      Oh, gotcha! Looks like I missed the mark there, my bad. 😅 If it's a no power issue, definitely check the power cord and outlet first, might be something simple. If that doesn't do the trick, could be something more internal. Might be time to reach out to Samsung or a pro for that. Hope it gets sorted soon! And thanks for pointing that out!

    Why do we have to fix things? Why can’t they make a product that works? This is ridiculous. I shouldn’t have to tear apart my sound bar to fix it. Don’t buy Samsung apparently.

      You're right, it'd be awesome if things just worked without any hiccups. Sadly, tech can be a bit temperamental sometimes. Before you give up on it, maybe try a quick power cycle or check if it's still under warranty? Could save you the hassle of taking it apart. And yeah, it's a bummer when brands let us down. Hope it sorts out for you without too much trouble!

    Hi bro my Samsung soundbar Q990C is not working just 1 orange Light is on. I m going to samsung service centers butt he is noy resolving this problem i m just 2 months ago buy the Samsung Q990C soundbar. Pls help me Thanks

    My issue is weird.
    If I hit power on my Google TV remote to turn on the TV, the Soundbar turns on.
    However if it hit Home to automatically turn on the TV and be at the Home Screen, the Soundbar never turns on.
    Never had this issue with any other Soundbar and TV combination.
    I had to retrain myself to hit power instead of home.
    Why having the TV turn on directly via Power vs indirectly via Home would make a difference is anyone's guess.

      That's definitely a quirky issue! Sounds like the Soundbar might not be picking up the 'wake up' signal when you hit Home, but does when you use the Power button. Weird how tech can be so picky, right? Maybe check the settings to see if there's a way to sync them better. Retraining yourself to hit Power isn't ideal, but at least you found a workaround!

    My Soundbar HW-Q800T doesn't turn on without any reason. I tried your fixes but without success...

    I Used My HW M360 XL Sound Bar Rearly One Day I Wish To Listen Music. I Turned On Bar Sub Suddenly Showing (Port!) Sing On Display And Turned Off Automatically. I Don't Know What's The Issue It Also Out Of Warranty. I Used Soundbar Only 15 To 20 Times In Year. So It's Still Brand New Condition. It's Literally Disappointed Regarding This Issue. My TV Washing Machine Refrigerator All Are Same Samsung. But Soundbar Only Defected After Used 20 Times. I Tried. Everything Please Let Me Know How To Fix This Issue

      It looks like the soundbar might be having an issue recognizing the port. Try unplugging everything, then reconnecting just the basics to see if it clears up the (Port!) message. If that doesn't help, it could be a hardware problem inside the soundbar. Since it's out of warranty, maybe take it to a local electronics repair shop?

    I bought a Samsung soundbar (S60b) and it has worked for 20 minutes. After that it never turned on. It keeps a solid blue light when turned on but remote is unresponsive and nothing happens. Samsung? Never, never again!

      Maybe try unplugging it for a bit and then plug it back in? If that solid blue light stays and it's still not responding, a quick call to Samsung support could be the way to go

      Sometimes, unplugging everything for a bit and then plugging it back in helps sort things out. If that doesn’t work, checking the cables for any damage might be a good next step

      Just got a samsung soundbar today and it wont turn on fresh out its box :( tried a diff outlet and cable too

    SAMSUNG
    To activate Q-Symphony (best audio that combines soundbar + TV sound) and for the soundbar to open at the same time as the TV
    1. On TV
    a. Advanced Settings → Sound → HDMI-eARC → Auto
    b. Advanced Settings → General → External Device Manager → Enable Anynet+
    2. On the soundbar
    a. Source D-IN
    3. On TV
    a. Sources → TV (Samsung TV Plus)
