The fact so many of these kids were crying says it all. They aren’t old enough to know who he truly is or what’s the songs mean. But his voice provokes such a strong emotional reaction, even from kids.
I disagree that they don't know who Guy is, since he's very famous in Australia. I was only 9 or 10 when I was a huge Beatles fan, and I went to see them the first time they toured the U.S. However, I do agree that he has a beautiful voice.

How much do you love the look on the students little faces.....Guy is such a wonderful, kind, generous human being. with his Sebastian Foundation he & his wife Jules are bringing in a program called Open Parachute.....to help children deal with mental health issues that is part of today's society. A gentle loving family man....The students sounded so beautiful .....Big love to their music teachers

Right? I have so much respect for Guy, but I confess I am not as familiar with his music as I ought to be. And my first thought while watching this video is his voice is BEAUTIFUL. He's singing in a tenor range with so much ease, and those runs are gorgeous!

As an American, I prefer to watch The Voice Australia over our version, and have over the years become a huge Delta Goodrem fan. I have, of course, seen Guy but really did not know much about him until seeing this video. Now, after doing some background research, I am truly impressed and have become a fan of Guy.

I was very impressed by the visit to the school choir and how Guy interacted with the children, I was even more impressed by the reaction of the children when Guy sang his new song "Standing with You".as the camera panned around I watched as some of the children were emotionally touch by the song. I must admit it brings me to tears as well. Music does that to me every time and I see those in that school audience were moved too.... it's just how music does things to those of us......thank you Guy Sebastian

I cried with them and I'm old. 😭 (well, compared to them, I'm old.) I've just discovered Guy (I'm in the US so... I'm so sad I didn't know him before now but,) I'm loving everything about him! His voice, I just have no words. He also seems like a stellar human being. I'm in awe.
I am in my mid sixties and I love Guy. His music is from the heart, his talent is magical. He is a true artist, and a well rounded great soul.
He's really just getting started so enjoy!! Yes he's been around for a little while but it seems he's now at one with his gift.

honestly, guy is one of the only singers in australia who is genuinely good at singing, he doesn’t need autotune and he’s actually really good and is very underrated in the musical industry.
My husband isn't really a pop fan he's into metal but he saw guy live with me and says he's one of the very few singers that sound the same live as they do recorded
For all you people out there that gave Guy Sebastian a thumbs down you must really hate yourself and your life, so may I suggest you get out there and do something for someone and you might feel better about yourself and therefore you will have a much happier heart. I just want you to take a look at those kids and see how much joy he brought to those kids and you gave him a thumbs down wow I think you need to look in the mirror and reevaluate yourself. USA. Me too. I only knew of him from videos on the show. Then I heard him sing on the show and then found videos. I love his smooth romantic voice. I saw his brother Chris on the show as well and he won also with Kelly.

I’m an Aussie, and yes, you can feel the love. Aussies are warm friendly people, known for a helping hand and generosity. Guy is a truely generous caring human being, a quiet achiever, giving back to those in need where he can, a truely special soul.
One little act of kindness by Guy just inspired who knows how many kids to go for their dreams. Amazing
1. One must truly compliment a singer who sings so flawlessly without autotune.
2. The instructing teacher in the beige/light brown coat has a phenomenal figure (just saying).

Almost made it through watching this video without becoming a waterfall, until some of the kids got tearful. Guy Sebastian, his wife, his brothers are all amazingly wonderful, sincere people who are making a difference in this world. This song has a special meaning for me because it's anti-suicide, and when I get to the point where I just can't take anymore of being here, I find this song, and it has really really helped. I wish I had someone to be a distant satellite...not this man...just the concept. It gets really hard lately, but I'm trying harder to work through everything...this song, this concept, has been a literal lifesaver for me. Good on you for taking a time to share this, ❤️ and hats off to you when you know you can heal your wounds without causing any major injuries to yourself. ❤❤ If you take my advice just for a little help, if you do what we do as young parents, I'm a mother of six and we do devotion (family evening) every night with our kids and we pray to keep our kids and our families, anyone, everyone and the world safe and every night they know what we do every night sometimes takes two hours for our devotion we sing hymn first then the reading from the Bible then we discussed and then more discussion about school work and etc then the prayer even my 3yr old can pray and her favourite words is "thank you Lord daddy go to work." and that helps us believe that nothing will come against us or our kids in the future because we planted a seed for them to water every day of their lives. ❤
