Thank you, Doug! I make a similar dish but use canned black-eyed peas instead of cabbage. Would I use the same time/temp for that? I/'ve only done one cook in my new Speedi so I'm still not sure of what I can and cannot do. Your recipes are very helpful!

Doug this recipe is so easy and quick. I made the cabbage dish today of which I used bacon grease instead of cooking the bacon. Everything came out better than delicious, oh my God adding this meal to my favorite list. I added red bell pepper. Thank you I am following your recipes.

I thought that you needed to add water or some sort of broth at the bottom especially on speedi meals... learning so much haha
Yes...but cabbage releases some much liquid when heated IN THIS CASE you don't 😉
What setting would be the equivalent using the Foodi Smart Lid? Steam and Crisp? Would you need to add water directly to the cabbage, or do you think the cabbage itself would release enough water for the steaming process? Thanks and keep up the great videos!
