  • We went to the Studio Ghibli Store inside Tokyo's Solamachi Mall and enjoyed some Ghibli vibes. I also enjoyed my favorite traditional snack: mitarashi dango. I highly recommend this place! (Not to work on your Japanese though, you'll see. 😄)

I really hope I can get tickets to either the Studio Ghibli museum, or the theme park on our next trip.

For the new Ghibli Park you can buy tickets at Lawson Loppi ticket machine, for the museum I got told you can buy them via a VPN on the Japanese Lawson ticket website. I also hope they'll make it easier again to buy tickets as this seems so unattractive right now.. Fingers crossed you'll get some on your next trip!

Been watching your videos for a while since we really wish to visit Japan next year, since we do not understand or speak Japanese how would we know it is vegan on a menu? 😊

Hey! Thank you very much for watching my vlogs! 😊 In Tokyo there are many vegan options and restaurants now and you can find them all over the city which means you don't need to go to a specific area only. When it's not marked as vegan, it can be difficult though. If you don't speak any Japanese I very recommend to make screenshots of vegan products and a list with all the vegan (friendly) places you'd like to visit before you go! Just mark them in your google maps and you're on the safe side. There are so many now that you won't miss out on anything. This is crucial for a trip without disappointments as it's still tricky to find vegan food by accident in Japan. Sometimes they use the word plant-based but it's not vegan or they put animal ingredients in something that seems vegan (very common unfortunately) so it's really the best to get all these informations beforehand. I know Osaka and Kyoto are vegan-friendly as well but I don't know about other cities. There's so much good food, I'm sure you'll have a great time trying them all and I hope you can visit Japan next year! 😍
