Hey and thank you for watching! ☺️ I always choose hotels which have a good standard and are located near the areas I'd like to visit, but I mostly try out a new hotel every time so there's nothing I can absolutely recommend, they're all pretty similar in the standard category.

Yes! Oh I feel you. I was pretty sad standing in front of the closed down veganz last winter but luckily it stayed a vegan store. 👏 They definitely have a few exclusive products available, but for me, even as a Berliner, this store is just so far away and I just go to normal supermarkets as well. I hope you can re-visit it in the near future and find some nice goodies!

Filming, editing and creating thumbnails - I do everything on my phone only and without aesthetic sensitivity which makes it more difficult. Auf Instagram ist auf meiner Startseite immer alles voll von Veganer*innen in Tokyo und woanders in Japan, es wird ja auch immer beliebter und da es momentan auch so günstig ist, fliegen einfach so viele Menschen hin, darunter sind auch viele vegan. Und das Essen dort ist einfach zu gut, schwärme davon jeden Tag. Zum Thema Japanisch können: nur ein bisschen, hier und da etwas selber beigebracht. Aber ich möchte es unbedingt eines Tages sprechen können, könnte mir deshalb jeden Tag in den Hintern beißen, dass ich es noch nicht geschafft habe! Hoffe, dein nächstes veganes Ramen wird ein sehr leckeres sein. ^_^

@@veganminniemouse Ja, von all den Veganer*innen, die ich durch unseren Tierrechtsverein und den Stammtisch kennengelernt habe - und das sind bestimmt mindestens 30 Leute - interessieren sich nur zwei wirklich bzw. halbwegs für Japan. Und danke! ^^ Allerdings mache ich mir meine Ramen inzwischen nur noch selbst - habe mir ein eigenes Rezept zusammengebastelt. :P Wir hatten ein japanisches Restaurant bei uns, das auch echt gute vegane Ramen angeboten hat, welches allerdings vor fast einem Jahr geschlossen hat. Dir noch einen schönen nächsten Aufenthalt in Tokyo! :)

Hey! I went in October, shortly after the 'Jay Festival'. This yearly vegetarian festival is celebrated for 9 days and you can find a lot of these yellow and red flags all over Thailand. Luckily Jay products are vegan as well and I was really surprised I still found a lot of these flags everywhere. Even though I seemed to be lucky with some vegan product finds, many places didn't have anything Jay / vegan even though there were these flags hanging in their display. I actually thought I'd find more vegan products in Bangkok but it wasn't that easy and appealing. Now after reading your comment, I think I was even more lucky with the few things I've found. Thank you for watching and I hope you'll go to a city next with lots of great vegan finds. 🙏

It was a combination of several things, when we asked them if they are open now they acted annoyed, then we went inside and we saw the cat in the kitchen (cute but weird), then the very strong smell of cleaning detergent and all of the food displays (which I saw online) were empty. We wanted to order pizza but the pizza oven seemed cold and overall it felt super uncomfortable. Maybe we just went during a very inconvenient time and would've enjoyed it on another day.

The plant-based menu at Starbucks occasionally changes, right now the vegan options are: semi-dried tomato pizza toast, matcha roll cake, chocolate muffin, sugar donut. I hope the sandwich will come back as it was so good. Enjoy Japan!

Oh this is a really good description! I've had durian two times now and I noticed they were completely different so I'm sure there are different types, some tastes less like onions than others. You must have had a very oniony type then. 😅 I'm not a fan too!

There's smog which feels even thicker in the air due to the hot and humid weather. There's no feeling of fresh air or taking a good breath. I guess it feels okay for most people, but as a sensitive person it doesn't gives me a good feeling. All of the traffic makes you feel you breath the waste gas. Even when you google the air quality, it's said that has reached a high level of pollution and is unhealthy for sensitive groups and you should reduce time spent outside. Actually a big reason why so many people are spending their free time at the many malls there.

@@louis20122 I'm not a health specialist and not living there, but there are studies that show increased health issues when living in such a city. I really don't know how polluted it must be or how long you have to be there to have increased risks. As a tourist I felt okay and I would travel there again if I had the desire. I know there are differences in regions, but personally I couldn't live in such a city because I'm a sensitive person.

Of course! As a vegan, everything I eat is vegan. 07:28 I always show the places where I get my food from. It's called fruits&season in Ebisu. Hope you can try it out!

Thank you very much for watching! Compared with the Philippines, Bangkok is way ahead in terms of vegan food, safety, cleanliness, entertainment and mobility. I only went to Manila and Bangkok so these are the only cities I can compare in these 2 countries, but it's really completely different. Nevertheless, the Philippines have beautiful and unique spots and I'm glad I got to experience a part of this country too because I always say you can learn from every culture. But being vegan there wasn't easy, in Bangkok however, they already have a great vegan culture!

I always say I should stop comparing everything with Japan but it's hard not to. 😄 Of course Japan has it's negative sides too but there are so many simple things which make me happy there like the cleanliness, politeness and the great quality of vegan food, therefore it'll always be on top of my list. Also compared to Bangkok, there's a huge gap between. Still it's nice to visit other places besides Japan because every place has it's very own perks.

Traveling is the most important thing for me. My everyday life is simple and minimalistic, therefore I can travel again soon. No car and mostly eating at home and in general a simple life as traveling is the biggest luxury. But I really like this simple way of living and because I'm thinking about traveling everyday, I don't loose focus. Also there are times when traveling is more expensive so I avoid these months. 😊
