Thank you for the video and for the nice explanation of what was happening there. Great accomplishment, I doubt that Alexey cared too much about his ascent not being "beautiful", his objective was to set a new World record not to win a beauty pageant.

I agree that unlikely Alexey worries about how beautiful his technique is :) On the flip side, effective technique = beautiful technique 😉
Nevertheless, sooner or later, GAS Narcosis will play a bigger role in freediving competition, and this dive is an example of why. Even Alexey, who is the Master of the monofin, can be affected by gas narcosis..

thank you, that's great, I'm wondering if you can make a video, of the torch setup in the suite as I don't like attaching it to the mask, as I dive in dark water. also not sure if you have a video about packing. Thank you again
