  • Alexey Molchanov, World Champion freediver, entrepreneur, and co-founder of Molchanovs.
Alexey's love of freediving was sparked by his mother, Natalia. Today he carries on her work in the freediving world, improving both the education system and freediving gear to push the human limits of breath-hold diving. Get a glimpse into the life of Alexey Molchanov.
Natalia was the president of the Freediving Federation. She designed and established its educational program from beginner to instructor level. Natalia shared her passion and knowledge of freediving both through her courses and with her university students in Moscow. Today, thousands of freedivers have been trained by the Freediving Federation and several hundred instructors share Natalia’s knowledge with a new generation of freedivers. In 2015, the presidency was passed to her son Alexey Molchanov, also a freediving world champion and record holder.
    ---
The Molchanovs Mission is to share our love of freediving with the world. We do this by cultivating the level of knowledge and skill of all freedivers, by building global and local communities that fuel passion for freediving, and by developing gear that provides the best freediving experience possible.
Our inspiration, Natalia Molchanova, is one of the greatest and most decorated freedivers in history. She was a passionate educator and a role model to many in the freediving community. Molchanovs is firmly rooted in her philosophies and approach to freediving, and is continuously updated with the latest developments in education, technology, and scientific research. We are inspired and honored to have had Natalia as our inspiration. Without her, the Molchanovs Movement would not exist today.

Hi Alexei I am Monika Castells Estella sharks diatomeas and other subjects. Is possible to know where you will freedive and teaching next month in Egypt. I am tired of sheet instructors studients and bad characters. They are killing my loving personality and I feel I am losing my time and my life for nothing. So is possible go far away of the coast line and have a good treat with the people as a freediver and have better much better depths? Because I will never go back to the places where people attaked me I am tired of everybody so going alone with sheet scuba sheet and I need a freedivers ship and good teaching. Otherwise I am feelling rubbish as they are becoming. You give them your smile income and good relations and they are I don't know like predators. Hugs kissess and hope to meet you soon!!!!!!!!!!!

What's the chance one could breath out (on the way up) just enough to breath the same air back in? I imagine oxygen depleted air would be deoxygenated by the surrounding water. If a swimmer could swim up faster than his expelled air, just enough to create a bubble around his mouth, you could breath this air back in for more oxygen.
Think of Kenny G using circular breathing techniques.
I imagine it would take a great deal of practice, but how much time could this add to a dive on a single breath of air.

How can you dive so deep and not to be afraid by sharks.this sport is very extrem on wrong move and it s the end

All divers understand sharks are not a threat. There is no fear because they are not a threat.

This is the most uninformed and bone-headed comment. I'm actually thinking this is a troll since it's so absurdly stupid. You have a larger chance of dying in a car accident than being attacked unprovoked by a shark.

@@BuzzLiteBeer you can make your point without being inpolite though, what is stupid is people who pretend to know everything in every small details.
