Man, I don't want to sound cliche or somber but I let my Dad hear this last month. He passed away 5 days later and this was oddly the last thing that made him laugh out loud. I remember hearing this song some 25 years ago on a radio station in Detroit. It's still a top 10 fav for me. Funny, musical, inventive and his voice is 5 star. Wolfman Jack, Jim Gaffigan, and Jeff Lynne combined! He'll always be a legend to me.

Times have been rough, I've been going to the food bank. Yesterday they gave me a bunch of veggies and three loaves of bread. When I got home I made toast and remembered this song. Instantly made my day better. Thanks, Mr. Banks! Happy Holidays! :)

In 6th grade it was our teachers first year at our school, she showed us this video telling us about her past students loving it and singing it. We loved it. This week is the last week of our 8th grade year, and me and my best friend are memorizing this to sing to her the last day. To commemorate her first group of middle schoolers at this school going into highschool :) and how much we’re going to miss her

This was my son's favorite song of all time. I will never forget how he loved to sing it, and would shout 'Yeah Toast!' out loud at the most inopportune times. Incidentally, to the man who was in the toilet stall at the Udvar-Hazy Smithsonian museum in March of 2012, I apologize when my son yelled this in the men's room and I heard you fall off the toilet.

In simple, layman's terms what makes your songs so brilliant and hilarious is because the lyrics seem random; but all go coherently well with each other that not only does it sound like a standup comedy routine.. It actually makes for quite a catchy, fun, and witty song/tune individually or not about; well whatever pops into mind, in this case preparing for breakfast, and singing about various bread related breakfast products...
Pure, unadulterated, underrated, and simply GENIUS the way you developed the rhythm for the lyrics, and made such hilarious, witty, and simply brilliant jokes all in the form of a catchy Capella, toaster-percussion based instrumental tune;
I'm by no means a huge music buff, so I will gladly acknowledge that I can't really define your instrumental or lyrical genre but that's how I perceive it, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I'm open to discussion if the people are going to put in the effort to actually educate me on something I may not know, or at least know they have full, and predominately accurate knowledge on the subject, etc...

Self-franchise your work on youtube; allow others to use your work only if they credit you, put your channel and link in the description, etc., and hell do what every youngun and modernized entertainer of ye olde' golden years, and Mike Pollock is doing these days and accept donations OF ANY kind, it's the only way to survive, and there is ABSOLUTELY NO SHAME in these practices when respecting your clients, audience, etc. as much as they do you.
Moreover, IT IS the same as getting paid, and you're providing them, them being in this your fans/consumers a true quality service well worth my hard-earned money, or whatever funds people will acquire through various means,
(Money is money after all, doesn't matter how it was obtained as long as it was legally acquired, as my 20 years on this licentious rock seeing truly good people and the most iniquitous be debauched, and even progressively more morally detached people in this world, the most influential politicians, judicial, legislative, especially executive, corrupt law enforcement, government, healthcare "professionals", people well into and past their 40's advocating the most licentious, self-deprecating, and destructive acts to their fellow human beings young and/or antiquated...
