    I get 100's of leads locally. Im thinking about doing something and going national and just start spreading the lead love around everywhere.

    We shoot for $50 a man hour and I by myself manage around 60 properties.

    Quick question, when you are talking about $50-$60 per man hour if I am pricing out a landscape job that is going to take 4 hours with 2 men at $50hr does that mean the overall labor rate for the business is $100hr with that being $400 in labor? That’s what I am stuck on understanding

    Mike, on this call, it sounded to me that he was mowing with 2 guys and still only generating $50ish dollars per single working hour and $40ish dollars per single clocked hour ?? If I understood that correctly, then he is actually only generating $20-$25 per man hour.... Correct ? And if so, even in Georgia, that seems really low to me. I am from Arkansas for conversational/comparison purposes.

    I was just wondering if you have a video talking about workman's components unemployment and all the things that go with employees because those are the unknown to me and That is what keep me from picking up more work/ employee I'm not sure at all but I assume if he is paying $12 it is probably costing him Closer to 16 But I have no idea

    hey Mike, I am starting a lawn care business and taking over 26 properties that will keep me busy 40-45 hours per week.
    i was wondering. when i hire my first employee, which i do have a guy i want to hire. its just so expensive, to pay for everything to bring someone on as an employee.
    How do i hire somebody? how do i bring them on? can i subcontract them if i had them make their own business?
    im just lost on how to bring this guy on.

    I just hit about 50 clients in total today, and I am about to hire someone at $12.50 an hour. Like he said, another person in the truck is great profit!

      Can I ask you how long it took to get clients and was it worth starting your business

      If you make business cards, lawn signs, and and facbook posts in your city talk page, you can get them fast, especially at the begging of the season. And at the current moment, I can make about 3-4 times as much as I could at a regular 9-5 it gets very hard sometimes and it's easy to want to give up, but at the end of the day, I would say it's definitely worth it. I plan on building the company, and selling it in a few years.

    In Australia I don’t think you could get a employee for less then $20 a hour even then I don’t know if it’s legal to pay someone that little most business with employees from my experience would charge around $60 per man hour on the job minimum and I know when I worked for a mowing company in the past I got $26 per hour and did 8 to 9 hours a day between 8 and 16 lawns a day with one other guy

      @jakemcbride4445 3 роки тому

      So if I had someone working with me full time I’d shoot for $750 to $1000 a day

      If your only offering mowing as a service and on average you cut every 2 weeks you want a cut run of about 8k and so around $4k a week if 80% of the jobs you do are $60 or more you would need around 150 regular customers and doing 75 a week 15 a day that will make you about $4000 a week $16k a month easier said than done but very possible for 2 guys to do 15 a day that’s 30mins a lawn you charge $60 per man hour so a 30 min lawn with 2 guys is $60 x 15 = 900 x 5 = $4500 minus whatever goes wrong witch there’s always something leaves you with $4000 give you worker 1k leave 2.25k in the business pay yourself $750

      I took a look at your channel and noticed that your using a bike to get to jobs, I would focus on getting a cheap truck a couple better pieces of equipment and expand your marketing efforts before you consider an employee. Plus you would need to have alot of legal stuff in order before you get into hiring someone professionally unless it’s a school friend, but definitely work on upgrading your equipment 💪🏼

    I can charge $35 a man hour and make a good profit. No way anyone would get the large properties I have trying to aim for 60 a man hour
