    You will love the Hien. Side note, it needs to break in first tho. At first it’s super fast and rough, but after about a week or so, it’ll slow down a tad and won’t feel less rough. I have 3 artisan pads (Hien soft, zero soft, and raiden mid) and the Hien is by far my favorite.

    Excellent video. Looking forward for your Hien review. And even though it's not of course 100% reliable to judge the glide based on that mice throwing stuff, I liked that part. It really seemed that some mice (with bigger feet) glided a lot better. I haven't yet tested the new Hayate Otsu but I like both Zero and Hien although they are very different.

    • @hausgaming
      @hausgaming  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks! The B-Roll on the glide test section is just mostly B-roll. None of the "glide tests" are good in terms of comparin different mice, the real comparison is done in-game and in proper use, it's just hard to show it on the review. I think this looks the best :D

    Artisan Zero Mid is the best mouse pad I have ever used (ive tried 20+). It's a pity you got the soft. THe mid is literally a perfected Steelseries qck+. The OG of cs/tact shooter pads. But 10000% better quality and like you said no humidity issues. The soft is too squishy and will make you push into it under pressure, but the mid is the perfect cross between a faster/harder pad like the hien and the softer zero soft pad.
    You can also buy the non stitched version for 1/2 the price and its the same thing in reality.
    I bought the Hien, Zero in both soft/medium and the non stitched edge soft zero and this was my conclusion. I main PUBG/Valorant and CSGO, having played pro leagues as a reference point in previous years. I enjoy messing around with Gear.

    Which mouse pad do you personally use for CS GO? I was considering the Aqua Control Plus Strata, since I saw good test results on r/MousepadReview, where it says it has great stopping power (high kinetic friction) and low static friction (which I think it means its easy to start moving the mouse from standstill? I watched your reviews on both mice and I think they are good reviews, but I don't think your experience confirms the measurements on the Aqua Control Plus ROB Strata. Currently I have Zowie S2 with MP510, and waiting for Viper 8KHz, I am looking for a bit more control and I am not sure if I would want my mouse pad to have less initial friction than the mp510, because it might make my aim shaky, but that's just my opinion with no experience in mouse pads.

    • @hausgaming
      @hausgaming  3 роки тому +1

  • @hellbendert35
    @hellbendert35 3 роки тому +5

    ive got the artisan zero mid, i can tell you its mainly hype, its a bit stiffer than my old qck limited. Its indeed built like a tank, quality materials and good craftmanship but the stitching on the edge is not built for comfort, its rough and scratchy. Also faster than the qck.

    • @hellbendert35
      @hellbendert35 3 роки тому +1

      @@maastter the fact that i got my is nothing to do with it son. The technique of the stitching is the issue, they skimped on it. the edge is not fully covered in stitching material and its rough. Everything else is solid.
      So if you play on very high sens sure fine, you wont rub your arm on skimped stitch job, or if you always will have a blouse or something to protect your arm.
      Also they apparently did a revision in the summer 2021 and made the surface material even smoother.

    • @hellbendert35
      @hellbendert35 2 роки тому +1

      @@POLPO_WOOD I have sold mine. If you do not mind what i think is a poor stitching job on the side due to not having sensitive forearms, the quality of the surface is very good and a bit more slippery than qck.
      If i were to ever buy an artisan it would definitely be an xsoft becase the mid was @3mm and it was again stiffer than the 2mm qck.
      Again to clarify the issue for me was flicking in fps games where eventually my forearm would become irritated and caused discomfort .

      @@Bobbyeverything2000 the Y axis on the hien soft is definitely slower than the X. Personally it doesn't bother me, but there is a pretty significant difference on mine. I can't see why X and Y differences would be affected by foam density.

    • @LyK0sa
      @LyK0sa 4 роки тому

      @@Bobbyeverything2000 fair play. I can only speak from personal experience, but mine definitely glides a bit faster on the X. The mouse stops quicker when pushed across the Y axis (with the mouse turned 90 degrees, for the sake of consistency), and I can feel a bit more resistance too. I've actually started running my pad at a slight angle so that long swipes are more horizontal across the pad. The difference is minor but noticeable to me. I've only had the pad for a week, so maybe this will change as it breaks in, but I noticed it pretty quickly.
      I guess the flip side is that if you want a bit more control, and can deal with a few cm less horizontal space, just turn the pad sideways (according to my experience, at least, YMMV)
