Just had my 1st cup of coffee with the PB051 using 3 scoops of Peets coffee with 6 ounces of water on the rich setting. Wow. The flavor is intense and really good. I may play around with the water amount and number of scoops This is a replacement for my K Supreme with multi stream technology. This has a shower head water delivery system which really soaks ALL the coffee grounds. I love this Ninja model!
Thanks for that note. I saw this comment about the K Supreme multi stream and that you are replacing that one with the Ninja BP051. I was actually trying to choose between the 2. Can you confirm which you think is better? Thanks!
@@jonq.public5892 IMHO, and after using the Ninja model for a few weeks, I am really loving it over the K Supreme. I haven't had to descale it yet, which was the reason I stopped using the K Supreme and its known permanent shut off issues after descaling which the machine's light comes on after 250 brews or for me at twice a day....a 4 month lifespan...not a long time to be able to use it before that descale shutdown issues arises...
I got this and I love it, however the trick to making a perfect cup of coffee ended up being that I had to purchase a KitchenAid burr grinder. I had no idea how much better that works! (Then a cheap handheld grinder)
Ninja PB051 Single-Serve vs PB041ST Stone color which I bought since it will make the 3 and 4 oz shots just like the PBo51 does and I have a milk Frother allready, thanks for the review
Thanks so much - really great and thorough review! After re-watching this and your review of the Hamilton Beach Convenient Craft Rapid Cold and Hot Brew Coffee Maker (42500) I can't decide which to buy for a large travel mug of strong coffee... HELP! Which one do you recommend ⁉
I see pictures of a model with the frother on the right hand side. Is it switchable, or do they sell this model under another stock number? Because of the space of my kitchen I would need one with the frother on the right not the left, its something of a deal breaker.
Price of PB051 is currently double than PB041 in Canada. So I was thinking if the speciality brew is almost the same as over ice, I can go with PB041 and use the milk frother I already have. What do you suggest? Is the speciality brew any different than 8oz over ice brew?
Technically yeah. I got mine on sale on Amazon. Im in usa and i got the one with frother and it was like half price. But we wanted to cancel the order but Amazon had it stuck in processing and offered full refund and letting us keep the product.
Do you have the link to the video on how to clean/descale this coffee maker !? Mine is about ready to be clean on the insides but I’m not too sure how?
A very thorough and expertly explained walkthrough. Thumbs up and thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!

I found out the #4 --4 cup filter works great
Please, do you use the paper filter in permanent filter? Ty

JAD, what's the best way to clean the grounds filter basket? And can I buy a 2nd one as a backup?
