The old chrome Morley chorus pedals allowed you to control the chorus speed with the foot pedal. I'm a little surprised they didn't do that with this new one.
This one is a "reissue" of the 80s Slimline Black Gold Chorus Volume(BCV-ST), and those pedals didn't have the other effects(not including Volume or Wah) controlled with the foot pedal. Except for 2, the Slimline Echo Volume(SLEV) and the Slimline Distortion Wah(SLDW). Only the original 70s Morleys and the 2 80s ones mentioned above control the separate effects with the foot pedal.
Pretty cool concept fora pedal~ I almost always use chorus when I'm doing swells. Sounds great with your delay! Too bad you can't patch things in before the chorus though.
Well this certainly is something I haven't seen before! I can understand having a volume/wah, or even a fuzz/wah combo pedal. The chorus effect is quite nice, I generally prefer mine to be more on the subtle side, but I don't get what the thought process behind this is other than to save pedalboard real estate?
That's my thought too. I like the chorus for what it is and can see myself using it from time to time, but the combination of volume pedal + chorus is not the right choice for everyone.
Still a huge footprint. I had to replace my Morley Volume Plus because of its size. That's my only issue with Morley. Other than that, their stuff is awesome.
Interesting. Trying to decide between Rotovibe JH-4S and Fulltone Mini Deja 3 or whatever... This is great to have the volume linked to the stereo chorus... Too many choices... Although this one: I can use all my Best Buy credits to buy... WWBelewzeebubDo?
@@chordsoforion By "true stereo chorus" I am wondering if that means the signal is a bit different for each of the two outputs. Does the signal rotate or ungulate differently from a different starting point for each side?
I generally put the volume after the distortion/overdrive, however, you can put it before if you are interested in varying the gain coming into the distortion/overdrive. Here's a video I posted on the topic: ua-cam.com/video/jsuKmAJo3Qc/v-deo.html
@@chordsoforion well, it depends on the chain and the pedals really, but in this case, for my ears, I was surprised, this pedal got the rich out of the previous pedals, in a kinda' slightly weird amount, cool tool thx for the test! :)
Well it certainly sounds beautiful.
This helped me decide whether to buy one or not, and I did, and it sounds perfect. Thank you.
So cool!
Another great video. Much love and thank you.

Bill you are so good! ❤️

Does your delay also add modulation? I'm trying to sort out the sound of the chorus...

any tips on gettting abient sounds ut of a boss gt5?
I don't have any, as I have never tried it out. Anyone else?
is it a true stereo chorus, tho? or just a wet/dry, or phase-inverted stereo chorus?
Yes, it is a true stereo chorus.

Nice pedal and a very cool chorus. I have a question, where do you put your volume pedal? after distortion/overdrive or before it? Thanks.
After drives, before delays&reverbs
@@AlexGroen Thanks!

am I being stupid but would running a chorus pedal in front of your volume pedal achieve exactly the same thing?
I guess it saves space on a pedalboard and potentially money if all you want is a really simple chorus.
I would run the stereo chorus pedal after the volume pedal, but yes, you are correct.

@@timbaugh1944 There is no saving space with that thing. It's ginormous! The chorus sound is pleasant enough, though; good bread and butter.
Am i the only one thinking that that chorus with the distortion sounds like a flanger? Go check it. Must be because of the stereo thing...
I was going to comment the same thing
Hi Bill, nice pedal (I think your levels are a bit high I'm getting digital distortion here - checked against your other vids).
у Вас просто волшебный звук
