We recently have a rat problem and we are using bait stations, we use them outside. My only concern about using the bait is the dust residue from the bait and tiny bits, is that something to be concern or not really?
Hi, thanks for watching. That's an understandable concern. It is recommended to clean the station of any crumbs or residue the best you can with a wet paper towel or something similar. Washing it out out of the reach of people or pets is okay, too. Good news though is that, usually, the particles leftover from most baits are small enough that they alone will not harm most animals as the amount of active ingredient is so small.
@@solutionspestandlawn Thank you this good to know. My other question is how can I clean a bait? Like to I just wash it down with a whose with soap and water outside? or is that consider a hazard?
To keep bait stations from blowing away or raccoons carrying off attach with anchor screws to 12" concrete pavers.
