Characters we kinda missed out on like Doflamingo, Moria etc. (much much more) they all come back and get beautifully flashed out with backstory, sidestories and all. All the characters we ve met thus far. This is just the beginning. The only one we miss out until now is Enel but he too will likely come back some day..

Watching openings its always plenty of nostalgic feels after so long trip and they still continue UwU -Note: various openings sometime have some scenes with a slight changes depending on that specific arc. -Note 2: the 2nd Opening "Believe" by "Folder 5" also another song from the same group was included in the short animated bonus movie "Django's Dance Carnival" -Note 3: back in the day the third opening with Robin started BEFORE the Arabasta arc was ended in the anime since in the manga they was already around Skypiea so for those who didnt know was a "WHAT!?!? Robin!?!? °D°" -Note 4: the 8th opening "Crazy Rainbow" have a 2nd version, the opening by "Tackey and Tsubasa" (two japanese idol duo) they appearing in the opening among the crew in various scenes in Oda style w -Note 5: as some people mentioned, around Thriller Bark saga the anime series stopped with Endings so thats why the Opening was starting to be more long than usual, but in these recent years they started to introduce new Endings song.
First half of OP13 is actually Luffy's thought, he is a crybaby when he was young especially when with Ace and Sabo, he always chase someone's back which is Ace and Sabo and the anime put Ace's back in the exact place where the lyrics is, and the lyrics also put what Luffy said to Ace after Sabo die, that he will become more and more stronger.

From this list, I’d say op 1, op 13, and op 14 are my favourites. Just the ones that make me so extremely emotional. Also the one that had the whole crew sing We Are, but I’d include that under op 1 tbh.
