Is it ok to use this speaker whilst charging at the same time, or can that damage the battery? Also, is it louder when it is actually plugged in as I’ve seen some devices where this is the case?
The X600 has a bug whereby if you play music that is already 3D encoded (i.e. Dolby Atmos or Sony 360 Reality Audio) with the Spacial Audio enabled, then the music can sound as if there is wow/flutter on certain channels... I reported this to Soundcore not long after the speaker was released and they eventually released an updated firmware which was supposed to fix the issue but in my experience it is still there. I think the issue is that they are not able to process either encoding standard (having not licensed them) and when their own encoding is applied it causes channel interference.. Just be aware of this, avoid using these encoding standards, the speaker sounds much better if you just chose a standard HD stream and enable Spacial Audio..
I have TWO of this. The spatial audio makes it sound like a stereo pair. Its fantastic, especially the clarify and detail. However, there is ONE glaring weakness. The lack of deep bass. If they could give the X600 the bass capability of the motion BOOM it will be absolutely perfect.
I think you may of had a faulty one. A few reviewers on yt said they have. I have none of the distortion issues and base is incredible. Soundcore have a firmware for this distortion issue on some units
To be fair, every speaker, amp etc. starts distorting at high volumes unless they are super high quality audio gear costing multiple of thousands of dollars.
I use bass boost for up until around 60 percent if i go up higher i keep on spacial audio but turn off bass boost my music player has its own EQ and amp so i don't need the extra bass or their equalizer all that much sounds amazing at lower volume tho and it picks up some crazy low bass responses
Thanks for the video man. I'm hesitating with the Soundcore Motion Boom Plus. I'm scared about the bass of the X600, they sound hollow, fluffy not deep at all, at least in your video. Might be the microphone. I had a Soundcore Motion Plus and i loved the basses. What do you think ?
I have to say the bass is not as good as the motion boom.. especially when you go louder the sound tends to muffle out. I’m probably going to return it as an audiophile I wanted to love this speaker but the quality falling out at higher volumes. Puts me off
@TechReviewsTV Hey have you done a comprehensive video with the Sony Xg500 as I'm not sure which is better sounding can you provide a link to view if you have done one please
This is again one of many tests that says it's a good speaker. It's worth listening (if you have a good pair of headphones) to hear how the speaker resonates even when you turn it on. → 0:40 And the lows start to distort pretty quickly (not just around 80%). Also considering the price, I think this speaker is far from a well made product of the brand (the Motion+ or the "plain" Boom is a better product in price/performance ratio). There are no miracles. Small speakers, small body. You can't really expect rich sound from this.
Hey what is the name of the song that plays at 3:31 in your video it kind of sounds like a wizard song not sure please let me know in the comments thank you
Is there a way to turn off the startup and shutdown sounds? I live in an apartment and when I want to listen to music at night, the sound of the device turning on echoes throughout the house 😂
lol….using a Dolby Atmos soundtrack captured with an iPhone. That’s similar to filming a Bugatti with a Prius on a road course and trying to demo the limits of the car’s handling

No it's not louder while plugged in, id say the battery should be fine since it's anker.

Fully agree with you on this, hopefully they make a bigger one with better bass that you can feel/hear at higher volumes
Does it autopair for stereo or do you have to do it every time?
@@gupdaddy auto everytime i turn both on

I have 2 as well. Sadly it does not have partymode as of this reply.

I don't suppose you could share your eq setting could you? I've got the X600 but I'm terrible at eq settings. Thank you in advance 👍🏻
I usually copy the POP EQ(TREBLE BOOST), and then tweak the bass and some of the rest to what I like

Yeah it definitely doesn’t have enough bass as I would like it too, the boom plus might be a better option if you’re a bass lover
ok, thanks for the anwer :)@@TechReviewsTV

ok Thanks. Since then i have the Motion Boom and it's ok even if i'd prefer deeper basses@@bb4prelude73
@@bb4prelude73what's bass has to do with audio quality?

Great review.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
can you plug a usb in the back and play music via the usb rather than the bluetooth?
Is there a way to turn off the startup and shutdown sounds? I live in an apartment and when I want to listen to music at night, the sound of the device turning on echoes throughout the house 😂
Not sure 😂I need to find out also I don’t like hearing it all loud
Hey bro I found out how to turn it off!!! It’s on the app in settings toggle.
@@TechReviewsTV ohh , Really?! let me check... Thx for your good news...
@@TechReviewsTV This worked! I also reduced the light brightness. I think these features came with the last update. thx mate
@@ermis. yes I think so glad to of helped out
What is the sweet spot for volume? Do we really need two of them to have stereo audio?
One speaker sounds great itself two isn’t needed but I’d say around 50% - 80% max
Honest review bro 7:42 👍
can you connect via bluetooth without the app?
Yes
Can you pair two of them for stereo surround?
I want to say no? But I don’t remember if it is. It has an aux but no TWS button
@@TechReviewsTV
They probably sound better than the SONY AT-AH7 if they do, for watching movies on a tablet. 🤷
Does it better than anker boom plus ?
With hires, ldac, spatial audio yes , 50W you must know

So
What about boombox 3 plz ?

I did one with binaural mic and one with iPhone mic just for reference both are 7D videos. 👍🏿
better options not mentioned -_-'
How can you judge Sonys when you haven’t listened to it? Another fake audio channel great
What do you mean? I’ve heard 100s of speakers I own one of each from at least one of every big company.
X600 is good for 50€ 😊
