@@balkanshed yes I've been trying to tell people about using them. Some listen some don't. And they are so much cheaper than a dedicated gun bag but serve the same purpose.
Take the stock mecanism apart and look at the locking lugs and mating holes in the rear teunion. Your probably going to find the reciever is not alined with the trunion holes or the locking lugs are to big. Some times you just need to smooth them down with a small file. You can't mess it up if you take it slow. Easy to do.
It does the same regardless if there is pressure against the stock or not. Sometimes you can press it really easy and other times it won’t budge at all, almost like something is blocking it. Eventually I will get to it and take it apart to see what could be causing it.
@@litsci4690 I am sure it’s isolated case, it happens to all manufacturers, every now and then one of the products might have some minor issues, I am not worried too much about it. I have an older Zastava NPAP underfolder, along with few other underfolders from other manufacturers, and in all of them button is easy to push.
@balkanshed thanks, I'm new to the underfolder game, so not sure what's is acceptable vertical movement on the stock when deployed. Should it lock solid? should I expect any movement? It's an M70 just like yours. Thanks for the fast reply and great video! I'm getting a tenis racket carrier today too.
@@pt8946 when it comes to underfolders, most of them have some up and down movement when fully open, and it usually gets worse with use. It’s usually not a lot, I would say about 1/16 of an inch. When it comes to side to side movement, they are usually tight and won’t move that way. That’s been at least my experience with them and I have owned probably dozen or so of them over the years. @@jake7077 with this underfolder i get 5 to 6 inches groups at 100 yards, with iron sight. But with my ZPAP that has wooden stock, it’s closer to 4 inches groups.

A cheese grater upper handguard, wooden lower handguard, and a folding stock on an ak just looks great

Be sure you aren't putting any pressure against the STOCK while trying to push the lock button. Wiggle the STOCK until the button moves freely.
