Guys I'm well aware of the ammo ban, yes it's terrible news and it will make it even harder to enjoy our Ak's BUT we constantly face attacks on the 2A. We always have and we always will. They won't stop until we ALL stop resisting. We will face this head on like everything else they throw at us. We will do the best we can.

It sucks but I look at it this way, I got into AKs and other 7.62x39 caliber guns because of how available and cheap the ammo is compared to like 300blk ammo. 7.62x39 in brass (non Russian) is still cheaper than any 300blk ammo as of now and around the same price as 5.56 ammo give or take.

Funny fact: Back in time I was in 1 year obligatory yugoslav army.
I had no clue how resilient the M 70 is, because we cleaned that thing almost every fucking day,
that's why non chromed barrel wasn't really an issue, despite corossive amunition.

Yugo AK wasn't a licensed version it was reversed engineered after yugo army captured some bulgarian ones, because in those times Yugoslavia and the Soviets wasn't really a friends to put it mildly.
In fact yugoslav army even used US fighter planes back then, bought new from the US, yes the US sold latest fighter planes to officially communist country another funny fact
Actually it was two border guards who ended up in Yugoslavia and surrendered. The ak's they had were taken to Zastava and studied, and they made their own version that was way better than any Warsaw pact build...
@@kylecarpenter3900 You're both right. Zastava's first encounter with the AK platform was with defecting Albanian border guards, but later on Yugoslavia bought a thousand or so AK's from an undisclosed African dictator.

Two things are missing on the M70B1 that are two of my favorite things ,the top cover lock pin and of course the Yugoslavia stamping on the front trunnion , still a very cool gun though , one thing i really love is the old original bolt and bolt carrier from when the guns were full auto are so nicely worn and the action is absolute butter , M70B1 will always be my favorite , thanks for giving these awesome weapons the recognition they deserve .

Got my Zastava last year. Loved it so much went back to the store and bought the other one they had. This rifle is the best hands down. I originally wanted the Kalishnakov USA AK. But when I compared them side by side, no comparison. The build quality is superb. I paid $889 each. But even at $1000 I would have bought it. Get one you’ll love it
I modified my zpap m70 with the surplus part kit(old polymer grip, grenade gas block, front rear night sight, stock/hand guard, and the grenade muzzle) and it still runs super smoothly. Probably the best AK for the price I'd say
The m70 pattern has a feature that is an upgrade to the Akm pattern. With the safety on it is possible to eject a round from the chamber. The buttstock is held on with a bolt.....not a screw.
I hear a lot of trash talk about Yugo AK's that they can't withstand a high round count and ran hard but yet Rob Ski ran not 1 but 2 through a 5k test and passed plus the build quality is amazing since they broke away from Century, I'll say 1 thing about Yugo's compared to Arsenal's and Wasr's is the non canted sights that are zero'd with the front sight centered. My Arsenal sam5 was canted so much that I couldn't even zero it but it wasn't that big a deal since I planned on doing a front end conversion but still that was a $1,500 rifle compared to a $800

My Sam7sf sights were dead on when I got it couple years ago. Same my with my Zastava’s. I wouldn’t spend my money on tue Arsenal SLR stamped series. I’ll always buy zastavas over Arsenal stamped. But tue sam7 is in a class of its own
Got my m90 with the zhukov stock and hogue handguards, absolutely love it, straight as an arrow, beautiful finish, clean rivets. Zastava needs to work on getting ammo out from Serbia. Would love to see a 6.5 grendel option as well.
I didn't mind the Yugo furniture because i wanted the original Walnut wood like it comes. I bought mine last week and I love it, it is a beautiful weapon
I own the m70 rifle and m85 pistol in 5.56. Both of these are tanks. My brother has the m85, m70, m92 and m90. Any one of these guns are solid as hell. Cant go wrong with any model. Just have to decide on caliber you like most. I must say the m85 is my favorite tho.
Its so hard to watch this video knowing the AK ammo problems that are here now. I guess we are all going back to lots of dry practice.....

In my opinion Yugo rifles are caddilacs. Little beefy sure, but theyre bombproof and the serbs went the extra mile, that cant be denied.
I love Khyber so much. I do wish more of their products came with instructions though.
I mainly owned Opaps and Npaps for many years. Great guns but always had to polish up the internals getting rid of burs and material, alot had the dreaded canted sights. Once you fixed all of that they were great. The new m70 is WAY better but my m92 came with canted sights unfortunately.

A good Yugo m70 kit paired with a chrome-lined 4150 barrel is the best for a Yugo rifle. The new commercial ones are clean and nice but they lack the military features that make the unique.
A lot of AKs are about to become case queens for a while. Ya hate to see it.
I know I won't be burning through any 7.62 until the situation improves.
5.56 AKs and Galil patterns are about to become pretty scarce as well I'd bet.

Every serbian import I buy I usually “deban” and throw all the military parts on. Unless it’s a fixed stock can’t put the Yugo sling rear swivel. Just buy the adapter. Nice reweld I may want to hit you up for a job. I buy all your key bed customs products patches and all! I didn’t know you guys build. Good to see a face and not Jsut the name on AkFiles lol. Nobody has been able to tell me the first year of the zpap. And even with the bulged trunnion the things shimmer and shake like jello when in slow mo.

When firing a rifle grenade from it you HAVE to hold it firm and strong with the nonfiring arm as it can kick back and it can hit you in the head "WEAR A HELMET"!!!! And don't forget that sight for grenades as it's sharp and can make a nasty injury!

Guys, a cheek riser is really needed. Work up something for Arsenal SLR poly 103 style folders, and CNC tubular folding braces and stocks. Maybe even something for the SB crowd that don’t mind using that brand. Thanks

I bought a ZPAPM70 as my first rifle. I would like to suppress it, but my local armorer says that the barrel is not concentric. What are options of properly suppressing? I’m interested in the Sandman S or K. Thanks for your informative videos!
The only thing for me is they molested the safety. They cut a slot for a bolt hold open. If your at the range that requires you to lock open the bolt to check your target just pop off the rear cover. Pull out the spring and the bolt and bolt carrier. Takes all of ten seconds.
How sturdy is that optic mount that is mounted on the rear sight?

The one annoying thing Zastava did with their new guns is move the scope rail back on the receiver. It means that I can't use my M76 scope and mount on my ZPAP, because it puts the scope to close to my eye.

Thats what sold me on the new ZPAPs. They are pretty much the same as the old sought-after Yugo rifles only the new ZPAPs come with a chrome lined barrel and no grenade sight. Built pretty much as well as my Veprs. I wouldn't hesitate in the least bit to carry it into an end of the world scenario.

"Read Owners Manual Before Use" does not need to be stamped into the side of the receiver in 14pt. billboard font. They got just about everything right with the new ZPap, but all that legal shit roll marked into the receiver looks terrible. Really hope they stop doing that eventually.

My first introduction to AKs was an M70AB1 underfolder that was built and parkerized several years ago. Then I got a ZPAP a few months ago. My underfolder has a grenade launcher like the one you have here. Strangely or maybe not, my underfolder has a 1mm receiver. I thought a front trunnion was necessary for that, so 1mm seems to be wrong for my build.
The 1mm receiver with flat trunnion is correct for some models. Yugoslavia made 1mm and 1.5mm underfolders.
