Ocon has been beaten by every teammate every single year he has been on the grid (except Alonso, but Fernando had dreadful reliability that year and who on earth would think Ocon is faster than Alonso lol). Ocon also collided with his teammates a record amount of times. He was sacked mid season this year for hitting Gasly... I'm flabbergasted that Ocon will the grid next year.
Ocon beat Alonso fair and square. In 2021 he had the majority of reliability issues. In 2023 he had the overwhelming majority of reliability issues. Reliability doesn’t just somehow become relevant only when it suits your narrative in 2022.
He's always wanted to retire the car but never has. He always complains and says he wants to give up in the moment but he always picks himself back up. If he was the quitter everyone tries to paint him as he never would have come back after 2021. I think in these instances we should look at his actions and not his words because they tell us two different things.
@MoptopTofer but he did retire it in spa on lap 39, and considering it's only a 44 lap race, he should have tried a little harder to pick himself back up.
@@mf390 I mean that race was 10 years ago and the tire puncture from the contact with Nico caused massive damage to his aero. With so little laps left and being out of the points I think it's understandable to save the engine and avoid the engine penalty later. He won the championship so in the end it mattered very little. Circumstances here were far worse and he wasn't fighting for either championship and he didn't retire the car so I feel like the point you're trying to make is moot.
They should just let Hamilton sit out the last race and put Antonelli in the car, same as Alpine are doing with Doohan and Ocon to give them a run before next season. Let him go to Ferrari a few weeks early as thanks. The current situation is doing nobody any favours and becoming a bitter end to what was a phenomenal partnership. Can't be great for the team knowing he has checked out mentally and is just wanting it all over with.
Hes turning 40 in January. You dont regain form at 40. If his qualifying form suddenly reappears next year then that just confirms that Mercedes has been compromising his car all year.
I don't really understand how Ocon stays in F1 as long as he has. I'm not his hater, but it's not like he has been doing amazing things with slow cars either. He always has had problems with his teammates. On top of that, he is not a son of a billionaire.
On Channel 4 during the race highlights programme, they said that Ocon might well be at the last race after all. They said that initially it looked like he wouldn't be there, but their new boss Oliver Whats'isname apparently answered a question about it rather cryptically, so he may well be staying.
If Ollie starts to hate Ocon after next season, it will be definitive confirmation, Ocon is the problem. If Hamilton does poorly at Ferrari, it's Riccardo 2.0. Wasn't he trying literally everything at the end of his McLaren and VCarb stint to prove it was the car's problem and not his. Didn't he say the car had so many issues that made it a chore to drive, all the while the teammate is still managing to score? This new Gen of cars is knocking out the old heads because Checo now can't get it together, and yet the incoming rookies play a video game, and they're in the points. Yikes.
Lewis is the biggest poor sport/cry baby I have ever seen. That is not the mentality of a World Champion. I said what I said. I'm not gonna argue with you all so don't bother.
I'm just looking forward to seeing Lewis in the Ferrari next year because he won't be in his current negative spiral and he will be in a decent car again and we see if he indeed still has it. I still question why haas chose OCON he seemingly brings every team he joins drama and is overall a negative figure in them so I hope bearman can deal with that duffus 😂
The fact TeamLH actually believes the team which owes all of its sucess to Lewis would actually sabotage him, just because hes leaving, just showes how brainless they are. Its very sad that such a great drivers has fans like that, of course its not just him, Verstappen, Norris, Leclerc, pretty much all drivers have brainless fans but it seems like Lewis has the bigger ratio of them
If people think lando is self critical Lewis is a completely different level, cos he's always been like this even at his peak. If anything goes against him he's just giving up hope. Well he has made several charges to P1 like max did in brazil too so idk what it is.
Ocon is just doing poorly. Alpine wants him to succeed to get the extra money from beating haas in constructors, so they have millions of dollars worth of reasons to help Ocon do better. Ocon is just not delivering, while Gasly is doing well.

I've never understood why f1 teams take part in these dark arts. It's just bad managment and the rules make it easier for the principle to play favorites. They should prioritize both drivers in order to learn from their mistakes. In any other sport, tanking is discoraged.
2:17 Tell me you didnt watch the grand prix without telling me you didnt watch the grand prix. That is just straight up lazy and bad journalism. It was blatantly obvious that Hulkenburg locked up and collided with Ocon which sent Ocon's car into Colapinto. Which was confirmed by commentators as well as as replays.
Is Ferrari now beginning to think they have made a serious mistake? They have a winning driver combination. Two drivers who are young and will fight every race for victory or points.
I don't think they hired Lewis in the hopes that he'd somehow take them to a championship. They have Charles, the literal prince of Italy in their eyes. Lewis is a goat, no doubt. But his brand is worth more than anything. I doubt they'd even want him to be on par with Charles, which I seriously doubt he will be.
@@mrjohnnykyou forget that the Ferrari brand value shot through the roof the second Lewis was signed. From a business standpoint, he’s worth like 10x what Ferrari is paying him. And as Red Bull in 2022-23 showed, having a mediocrity in the second car is fine when you’re way ahead of the pack
They did not hire Hamilton for his skills, because let's be honest quite a few other drivers could drive just as well. They hired him to sell merchandise to his loyal fan-base.
People were saying the complete opposite when Merc's car was in a more competitive spot and Ferrari had their rough patch. F1 fans have the memory of a goldfish. Let's save our judgement until next year.
for a guy who arose from literal obscurity, Ocon has transformed into a humble rookie on the grid to the Diva who acts entitled and finds faults in everything and everyone else but himself. Alpine has been a mess for years but that does not mean it should tolerate insolence and dismissive attitude Ocon has displayed since finding out his fate for the upcoming year. Ocon has not made many friends in the paddock and this final swipe at the team will ensure he will never return to F1. Karma
There is easily something wrong in the car. Probably a cracked chassis. For 3 races in 2021 Ocon suddenly had a massive drop in performance. Alpine didn’t believe him and it was exactly that. Drivers know how the car should behave. Teams don’t.
Why not make a video on colapinto...who was projected to go to red bull a few weeks ago and is now doing dnfs for consecutive races...THAT'S A COLLAPSE
Toxic af to his teammates, toxic af to his team, making himself look like a victim with a coy smile as if he doesn’t know what he’s doing, i don’t even need to say who I’m talking about… Sad Haas is going to suffer with him
if you're talking about early or mid season, saving mileage makes sense. However, we're talking about 1 race left in the season. Plus, there's no championship to fight for Mercedes. However, drivers are contractually obliged to race.
If anything Lewis was right to question considering we have no idea just how much damage was done to the car with how he had to limp it to the pits after the tire failed.
Hamilton's sick of the merc. I donno if this is applicable, but I've been at jobs where I've been good, and the last 2 weeks when I know I'm going elsewhere, the issues with the equipment, the people, the everything, just become stuck in my brain in a way that they weren't before. Prior I just made the gear work, and got shit done, I sucked up the crap with the people and laughed, but that last 2 weeks (in this case for him, season) that stuff got in my head in a way it never did before. Issues he could drive around, or deal with, are now just sticking in a way that they didn't before. Donno if this is accurate, may be, may not be, but I think we all understand what it's like, at least to some lesser extent.

It was a similar story here where while it was too late in the race to make a similar comeback he closed a 12 second gap within a few laps and finished P12 from basically dead last.
It's not Hamiltons first time looking to retire the car. He did it in spa 2014. So it more like "Mr usually doesn't give up" not Mr never
He's always wanted to retire the car but never has. He always complains and says he wants to give up in the moment but he always picks himself back up. If he was the quitter everyone tries to paint him as he never would have come back after 2021. I think in these instances we should look at his actions and not his words because they tell us two different things.
I remember him wanting to retire the car on lap 1 in spain 2022 when he got some damage
@MoptopTofer but he did retire it in spa on lap 39, and considering it's only a 44 lap race, he should have tried a little harder to pick himself back up.
@mf390 that was a mechanical DNF, not on his own accord
@@mf390 I mean that race was 10 years ago and the tire puncture from the contact with Nico caused massive damage to his aero. With so little laps left and being out of the points I think it's understandable to save the engine and avoid the engine penalty later. He won the championship so in the end it mattered very little.
Circumstances here were far worse and he wasn't fighting for either championship and he didn't retire the car so I feel like the point you're trying to make is moot.
"They're just idiots that have no understanding"
Thanks Toto, sometimes one just can't help but to be blunt and rude towards stupidity.
5:47 Hamilton has wanted to park the car many times in the past.
Lewis just needs to come to terms… age gets everyone.
My man gives the reason and Checo took note so he can explain this to the team leadership.
I have no great love for OCO, but he has natural pace and he’s aggressive. So basically HAAS hired a younger K-Mag. I’m good with that.
Lewis is done, i will be surprised if he all of a sudden regains form next season. i expect hime to be avg and then retire.
Hes turning 40 in January.
You dont regain form at 40.
If his qualifying form suddenly reappears next year then that just confirms that Mercedes has been compromising his car all year.
Real grin-and-bear-it ad read on this one.
Hamilton about to retire like Hill did next year.
@7:01 That certainly isn't anyhere near where Amsterdam or Schiphol airport is lol
The fact TeamLH actually believes the team which owes all of its sucess to Lewis would actually sabotage him, just because hes leaving, just showes how brainless they are.
Its very sad that such a great drivers has fans like that, of course its not just him, Verstappen, Norris, Leclerc, pretty much all drivers have brainless fans but it seems like Lewis has the bigger ratio of them
You are brainless and naive
I’m a big Lewis fan, but I hate the “eff it” attitude he has had lately.
It seems u guys used lewis's name just to get views
If people think lando is self critical Lewis is a completely different level, cos he's always been like this even at his peak.
If anything goes against him he's just giving up hope.
Well he has made several charges to P1 like max did in brazil too so idk what it is.
Ocon is just doing poorly. Alpine wants him to succeed to get the extra money from beating haas in constructors, so they have millions of dollars worth of reasons to help Ocon do better. Ocon is just not delivering, while Gasly is doing well.
Toto Wolff manages Russel's career, not Hamilton's, so why wouldn't he make Russell look better than Hamilton if he makes money doing it?
Lewis will be iced out in briefings, development and R&D.
@@andyelliott3198 likely he has been from at least summer break onwards as that’s when teams start to establish their concept ideas for the next season car.
Peter Windsor said it in 22 that these types of cars would not suit Hamilton's driving style. His move to Ferrari has created problems within Mercedes.
And what is his driving style ? Have the absolute fastest car that buries the competition completely or "retire the car mate" ?
Well, Lewis was best of the rest in 22 and is only slightly losing to Russell this year, so I don't think that was an accurate prediction. It's not like he's having a Seb Vettel end to his career.
@@sandenson he wouldn't be "slightly losing" if it hadn't been for Russell terrible luck this year. The head to head statistics show that Russell has pulled a Leclerc.
@@divinitygaming8673 Those 6 years at mclaren never happened huh.....
Finished 3rd(almost finished 2nd) last year in a very inconsistent car.
Beat George 13-9 in quali in 2022
Tied George 11-11 in quali last year.
As soon as he anounces his move to Ferrari before the start of the season suddenly hes forgotten how to drive.
If you cant see that ridiculous coincidence then theres no hope for you.
@mohammedaayanpathan I accounted for both of their bad luck
Good luck Ferrari dealing with Hamilton. Many clashes to come with Charles 😅
Hamilton fans... Personally I'd like to see Mick get a race drive in Abu Dhabi anyway, especially with Jack driving there too!
Mick isn't a reserve driver anymore
Ham Haters PARADISE!! ENJOY while U Can!!
Why was Hamilton so good in 2023 can you explain that
Wait wait wait, 3very team has one car that is better then the other, and it is not a far fetched to give Russel the better upgrades and attention because he is going to be the leader of the team next year!
It just means the development of one car is slower than the other!
I've never understood why f1 teams take part in these dark arts. It's just bad managment and the rules make it easier for the principle to play favorites. They should prioritize both drivers in order to learn from their mistakes. In any other sport, tanking is discoraged.
Hamilton should quit F1. It's about time.
Very overhated
Bro..lewis got p2 in the last gp(las vegas)...how can u tag it as a collapse?
Ocons “shocking” exit? Nothing shocking about it they’ve been talking about it for weeks
You must not watch any races bc they’ve been talking about it since Brazil. On air.
to befair with the crash Hulk. hulk did drift into him while avoiding Alex
Yeah I think going for Hamilton was foolish. He's an over the hill overpriced driver on his way out.
Hamilton checked out…if he ain’t in the best car all Lewis does is complain
How does Ocon still have a seat next yr.
for a guy who arose from literal obscurity, Ocon has transformed into a humble rookie on the grid to the Diva who acts entitled and finds faults in everything and everyone else but himself.
Hamilton has been a crybaby all year long. He really believes Mercedes is sabotaging him and not that he's been on the decline for years already.
Why not make a video on colapinto...who was projected to go to red bull a few weeks ago and is now doing dnfs for consecutive races...THAT'S A COLLAPSE
Toxic af to his teammates, toxic af to his team, making himself look like a victim with a coy smile as if he doesn’t know what he’s doing, i don’t even need to say who I’m talking about…
Sad Haas is going to suffer with him
Its about time he gets some repercussions
Smart to retire car if not in points to save milage..
if you're talking about early or mid season, saving mileage makes sense. However, we're talking about 1 race left in the season. Plus, there's no championship to fight for Mercedes. However, drivers are contractually obliged to race.
If anything Lewis was right to question considering we have no idea just how much damage was done to the car with how he had to limp it to the pits after the tire failed.
maybe let antonelli drive last race
I dont understand why Haas picked up Ocon. Dude is a horrible team player and never takes responsibility for his actions.
So, a replacement for K-Mag!
Chin up Lewis.
*Lewis just drive the car*
Watching Lewis cries almost every single lap is simply annoying
Baguette
I hate Ocon because he's a trash-tier teammate.
$100 million by the way.
So, Occout?
Ocoff
Oc-OOF
The funy fans, if they say Hamilton got screwed and sabotaged.
if by logic they screw and sabotage Bottas for many years lols.
Hamilton real WDC is just 4
Or lewis isnt as good as everyone thinks and it was all the car that lead to the dominance?
Lewis exposed his true colours (again).
7 time world champion says otherwise. clown
@@lorriethelorrikeetwe’re not discrediting the championships. We’re simply just pointing out how he talks ALOT about mentality and “never giving up” but when it comes down to it he’s the worst contradictor I’ve ever seen.
@@lorriethelorrikeet Without that mighty Mercedes engine he wouldn't have near the numbers........ Merc made Ham instead of the other way 'round.
@@TheSlowoldman what about the 4 championships max has won with the fastest car? 🤡
@@N-Collective But has he ever actually retired the car in those moments when he tells the team to retire them? He wanted to park it in Spain '22 after that lap 1 puncture and then climbed his way back to P5 (would have gotten P4 off of Sainz if he didn't have to lift and coast because of engine overheating). It was a similar story here where while it was too late in the race to make a similar comeback he closed a 12 second gap within a few laps and finished P12 from basically dead last. You're right his words contradict his actions, but those actions prove he isn't a quitter.
Hamilton finally shows his true rainbow colors...
The narrators script is dripping with Hamilton hate, what’s with that? You’re going to take one of the statistically most reliable drivers on the grid and immediately doubt and shit all over them when he says he doesn’t think he’s being treated the same as his teammate….when he’s 2 races away from exiting the team? It’s not like that’s some far fetched idea, it’s widely known that teams aren’t dumping their resources and r&d into a car that belongs to a driver who’s leaving for a competitor next year. A “journalist” should know that.
It was easy when you have the fastest car for 8-9 years, even then Hamilton was a whiner when team mates didn’t follow him…..
lol...nothing worse than a full blown sponsored video right in the middle of your own video. the worst possible way to advertise and appeal to your potential customers. perhaps have the Race team talk about their experiences and sell it that way as opposed to a stock photo montage with narration that seems insincere. just saying
and where dutch gp when you dont have any dutch winning driver ?? dutch gp its just the worst of all....
He's quit twice now. Not goat stuff.
Very excited about Jack Doohan!
Mercedes are definitely sabotaging Hamilton. He doesn't even have the new DAS system Russell had on his car in Las Vegas!
The ad does make me want go visit Amsterdam again and just coincidentally be there when the Grand Prix is on.
