- The all new HOYT RX5 Ultra is here!!! This video is a short-ish summary of my bow build and speed test.
My bow is set at 79,5 lbs draw weight and 30 inch draw length. I have it in the BRAND NEW Wilderness riser and SITKA Subalpine limbs!

Good video Danie. Showing how it shot through paper after setup ( ease of tuning) and maybe a fieldpoint/ broadhead shot at 20y would have made this next level.

Thanks for the great review and those are some really good speeds! I just ordered mine wilderness green 30''/80#. I think the new cams are over performing at the top of the short modules.

Awesome videos! I’ve watched a few and am going to watch more. I see your bows specs are very close to mine I have a RX4 ultra 80# and 31” draw. I’m currently stumped on picking arrows I’m looking at easton arrows either a 260 spine axis or a 250 spine FMJ. how do your arrows shoot with the extra weight up front? Do they still group good at longer distance such as 80 yards? According to Eastons spine charts bows like ours would be under spined with any added weight up front
Hi man! Both the 260 Easton and 250 FMJ’s will work great on your setup. I always shoot a heavy insert (at least 50 grains) and then a 125 grain point. My arrows are also just sticking past my rest. I personally like heavier arrows and have had great success with them even at long distances. I hope this helps!

I was wondering. Can the RX5 Ultra go for lower poundage like 30-40 pounds draw weight?
They come in at a minimum of 40Lbs man. Then you can go a few pounds lower.

RX 5 is ‘n ongelooflike boog. Nuwe tegnologie maak n hengse verskil. Ek was baie lief vir my RX4, maar as ek nou moet kies definitief die 5 🙌

What made you prefer the 5 over the 4? Speeds were similar, so was it sound or feel? Can you provide details on the differences? Thanks

Were you able to get rid of the shot vibration with the added stabilizer? I bought the RX5 Ultra and was only able to shoot it with the short damper on it and there was some hand vibration after the shot.

@@daniegeel-africanbowhunter I got a evolution plus mini because I couldn't get my hands on a silverback mini it makes it so I can't get it over my 2nd knuckle and puts it in the same spot everytime I really like it.

the text during the speed test says "RX-4".... hopefully that is a typo?
on the top of the video it says RX-5.... on the bottom, after the shot, it lists the speed and RX-4
