  • Ven Johnson the venerable civil rights, plaintiff’s injury and high profile lawyer, joins Neil Rockind on this episode of the Killer Cross Examination Podcast. The episode is electric. Ven, whose nickname is the Fighter and Ven Fights, and Neil Rockind, the Rockweiler, discuss Ven Johnson’s career, Ben Crump, Geoffrey Fieger, Patrick Lyoya, the Flint Water Class Action Case, the Midland Flood Case, the Oxford High School Shooting Case and a whopping $100,000,000 (100 Million Dollar) verdict Ven Johnson got from a Georgia jury for his client, Jessie Blassingame in Georgia this year.
Some highlights: Ven Johnson reveals how he prepares for cases/trials, what it is like working with Ben Crump, how he feels about the Oxford Consolidated School District Board and how he has uncovered so much information that wasn’t previously known about it, his representation of Patrick Layoya along with Ben Crump and how his opening statement and hostile witness examination for his client, Jessie Blassingame, paved the way for victor. As 2 powerhouse Attorneys, lets get into how to defend in court against corrupt police and judge, like all color of law.

They're not your brothers Ven and you seem delusional. Profiling has a basis in actual data, but the the actual stop for the Lyoya suspect was for an actual crime. It does not matter what the person's color is when the stop was legitimate. Its scummy plaintiff lawyers like Ven and others who defend the this suspect that should give people cause for concern. The suspect didnt listen to the officer, failed to comply, wrestled with the officer and then grabbed the taser. Defense lawyers should see the actual injustice here is the way the officer is being treated.
