I own a 2013 TB, I can tell you that you must have a mechanic who is your good friend to atleast think about such bike, It has several systems which fail almost every 3 months, Brakes are terrible , Rear breaks heat up in city traffic and you loose breaks if it overheats, Then you will get oil leaks because this model has 3-4 oil seals and atleast one goes off every 2-3 months, Then the other problems like Wiring problem which will make your bike fail will need entire wiring kit replacement, If you still are okay with all these problems Go ahead buy it. The Showroom service centers are too busy with 100's of bikes lined up for service, 2-3 days will be taken to repair the bike if some issue occurs.... My ODO Reading : 30,000 Amount spent on fuel : 70,000 Amount spent on repairs: 30,000 Be ready to shell out at least Re: 1 or 2 per KM driven for spares and maintenance, This is the reason Eicher shares are going high.
Santosh Rao never ever faced any such issue that you mentioned above. I've been riding TB350 for more than 2.5 years. My odo reading 25,000 Kms. I maintain my bike very well. Break pads replacement every 7-8 months, Oil change every 3000 Kms, Fork oil and suspension seal change when I see it leaking though that happens very rarely, happened twice only till now. I'm still riding and Chain sprocket set is intact without any damage. Faced just 1 tyre puncture till now. I don't have any problem with vibrations as I am a comfort ride lover so I ride in between 40-65Kmph. I have a bond with this incredible machine. I just love it.
Dino, thank you for the update, your points have just helped to take a decision on the Thunderbird 350. Will inform you once I get my hands on my own Thunderbird.
Compatible bike for long riders...,jus love RE...waiting to own a RE...from my salary..dino bro u r just rocking and ur videos are just amazing, thanks for ur reviews and videos bro..
Dino bro is dz bike good for long term use? Am planing to purches RE thunderbird or RE classic to use it as my lifetime bike as it has been my childhood dream bike... which RE do u consider best suitable... I dream abt it when was 6years old but now am 28 n i earn. plzzzz do reply bro
This is perfect presentation Dinos Vault i have myRoyal enfield same model 2013 , perfect technical brief given this bike is really great one looking at all dimensions power thrust & imporatantly firing sound
please suggest between TB500 and classic500.... also suggest i can go for resale bike or should prefer to buy new one from the view point of maintenance n performance
nice info. great. isn't classic seat height is 780mm and tb775 mm. so the difference is just 5mm?? and what do u think abt the Matt color?? and ur fav color too?
+Ash lore Matte black is quite impressive and looks amazing, and that's my personal favourite for this bike. Even the lightning shade and Marine blue look gorgeous.
Hi dino Sir I always like your presentation style ... your like those superb English lecturers... I like thunderbird a lot but I doubt the low ground clearance will let the bike scrape on speed breakers? Especially with pillion on? .... because I came to know that gixxer with 160mm of ground clearance scrapes. And what about avenger 220? Will it scrape too ? Because it’s a short bike?
Hi Dino, Please do a review of this bike giving your ride experience, pros and cons of the bike rather than just listing out the specs which can be read in the brochure. I have seen mixed reviews for the bike where come say it is brilliant while few say that they have a lot of issues with the vibrations and body parts. Would like to see you do a review covering all this to get better clarity
hey man, reading specs is not what I do. Read the specs page and go through my review, you'll note the difference. Secondly, my friend owns this TB 350 and he being a family guy is quite happy with it. He only had a fuse issue once, but since that got solved, he hasn't complained since. What you see and read online is not always true, there are many fake reviews that are put up just for the sake of it or to tarnish the brand. This happens among competition. There might be one or two exceptional cases where the bike was at fault, but in that case even premium brands have such instances, which we can consider our misfortune. Regarding the pros and cons, the TB comes with lowest saddle height for an RE bike. The raised handlebars and the seat for good comfort for city as well as highway rides. There are vibrations, but that is something you need to overlook when you are considering an RE bike. The bike also has a shorter wheelbase, which means it is somewhat easily manoeuvrable in city conditions. Regarding other queries, I will try and ask my friend to share his opinion as an owner, but he is not very fluent in English, so need to look for other friends who own TB 350.
nice review man. I have a question i have a tb350 and it completed 5000 kms my question is that will it cause any prolem if i accelerate it quickly simce it is an Enfield. Also is it ok if i do 4500 rpms in all gears?
Hello Dino. Thanks for a comprehensive review. I am 5'8. What kind of problems can I face while riding a heavy bike like this. Would appreciate a candid response from you or from other experienced riders.
The T-Birds appear to have been cut for the U.S. "cruiser" market...but never arrived, I've had to upgrade my 500 Classic from end to end just to get comfortable for distance riding, I LOVE it, but would have paid a bit more for a 500cc "factory" T-Bird.
if you are going to ride within city, TB 350 is better option. If you are going to ride mostly on the highway, Classic is better. TB holds good for city as well as highway. Classic is more suited for highway rides, in city you have a tough time managing its weight.
if ur more that 5.8 don't go for avenger whether it's d best or worst in v performance or anything. it will be very difficult. or else go for Thunderbird 350 . as per d reviews it's good. if u have problems with height I.e ur shorter or budget problem go for avenger
Hi, Which bike do u recommend Classic 350 or TB350. My height is 6 Ft and Weigh around 85 Kg. My Dad already owns a Bullet and that's partly a reason I am inclined toward TB350 as if I need a classic feel anyday I can use that bike. But in your personal opinion which do you feel will be the best choice. I have never gone in bikes in long tours but nevertheless mu choice of TB could change that. But will TB carry the real weight of a Royal Enfield or will TB be alienated from not being an actual RE? Kindly advise. Thanks
+Akhil Prabhakaran RE TB 350 is an awesome bike, very comfortable, looks modern, great tank range with 20 litre tank, decent power and torque for a cruiser, taller gear ratios that can be enjoyed on highways, my friend owns a TB 350, he is happy so far. He's owned it for nearly six months now. TB is easy to steer through city traffic when compared to Classic and even the seat height for TB is the lowest in the entire RE line-up.
Broooo plz help me.... My rear tire of RE tb350 is gone to be skid while I use break in 40kms/hr....even in taar road....plz give me awair of this question.... plzzz
+dino777we thanks for ur inputs bro. I also thought the same but the only concern for me is the service center is 350 kms away. this is what makes me go for royal Enfield for the moment.
Nice one again however just wanted to know about the ride comfort, has RE finally managed to tone down the vibration aspect at high speed? Thank you Dino for awesome these awesome videos & your hard work...
Well bro for what it's worth it's still our beloved good old Royal Enfield. When I was asked at office what my ambition was? I said it was to ride one 1975 Royal Enfield, my boss smiled & asked to aim higher in life . hahahahahahaha
piyush sharma Performance differs a lot more.In the new Thunderbird,There are projector headlamps, everything is electric so the riding experience is more advanced. It also offers more torque in both 350&500.
Hii last one week ago i got d silencer change of my TB 350 Marine blue To wild board AEW Pune.. but now my bike is nt getting kick start... also while riding it gets stop frequently...?? can u plz help on this... with a solution i m quiet worried.. does this is becaus of silencer change or any other thing ...??? plz help ... Dinos..
+Praveen kumar singh Thunderbird is the Royal Enfield bike with lowest seat height. I think it would be the better option. Classic has slightly higher seat height.

+Roshan Nair by the if u don't mind. which one did u buy
+physics for all i haven't bought...
+physics for all itz not only the matter of height, itz abt performance durability maintenance and value for money
which is more practical for Indian roads ( in touring, mileage and comfort) cbr 250r vs tb350
+Justin Titus TB 350 is a better option for long distance touring, comfort, etc. It's easier on the maintenance front.
