Hell yeah, send it just send it- you never know what people will care about. even if nobody cares, you gave people the opportunity to care instead of hoarding your ideas to yourself
This isn't just true of UA-cam and social media, it's true of any business. Customers (the majority of them anyway) come to your business because of you. My wife and I run a sign/graphics shop. We've been in business 12 years. There are a handful of shops in our small area, but we do a very good business because people like us. They like our work and how we treat them. So they literally can get signs anywhere, but choose to come to our shop because of us. It does take persistence and work though. Cheers.
I think literature and video games are the best examples of what you're trying to illustrate, because there are so many of them, and yet, we haven't exhausted all the possibilities that certain plots, genres and mechanics have to offer. As Blake Snyder would put it, we need "more of the same".
Just wanted to say that's exactly how I landed my job. Dont wanna go into too much details but basically everyone told me the position im trying for, especially working remotely, is too stacked and I should look for sth else. Well jokes on them cause the interviewer said there's tons of applicants and they already have a lot of people doing this but none of them was me, with my energy and self conduct. So yeah. 4 years later and I'm still going steady. That nice little job has very flexible hours and I have to move whole 2 steps from my bed to reach my desk to do it every day. Now I got plenty of free time (cause remote working) so I'm doing some side stuff with art and such. Hoping to get the first fruits of my labor in around 1-2 years.
Thank you!!! Needed this. Also, Kurt Vonnegut said, “To practice any art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake. So do it”. Vonnegut also said that art is valuable in and of itself, and that it's not just about getting a job. He believed that art is a way to: Experience becoming, Find out what's inside you, Make your soul grow, and Make life more bearable
I discovered you today and i love your content. I,ve been posting online since i was in high school and i'm still creating, my account has changed a lot in the last year and i completely transformed it to help my carreer in 3d animation but i have always created for me an if people liked it that was a plus ! Now that i'm trying to have a carreer this makes it harder but i still love creating and create because it's who i am.
I am really enjoying your videos. In today's heavily social media saturated world it can be really hard not to try and make stuff based around what you think people want. If you focus more on likes then eventually you lose some of the "you" that makes your art yours. Thank you for sharing 🙂

YOU ARE AMAZING. 🎉😊
This. This. This. This. This. This. This. Thanks you!
I need to be reminded about this daily
that closing was iconic and i feel it so very intensely. "i have too many thoughts and become numb to my own thoughts" like damn lolll
